You are missing it!! Are you really a tax consultant? The only typical allowable deduction she is likely to have is Employee pension at 8%, it is unlikely that she has made contributions to NHF, Life assurance premium.. etc, so yes, her salary can be 5k without her employer stealing from her.. Even if her gross is 70k, her PAYE can be around 5k. The fact that some companies of 10 staff pay less than 5k in total doesn't mean they paid the proper thing, some companies employ tax avoidance strategies, the popular one being Voluntary Pension Contribution. The reason i said we need to know her Gross Emolument before drawing any conclusion.

I just registered for ICAN and got a Slip from ICAN showing deposit slip number and serial number..etc

I logged in to ICAN pay direct and was shown my PIN and SNO, I then clicked on "Click or proceed to registration website " and clicked on "Application for professional registration", it took me into a login page where i inputed the PIN and SN; i get an error saying "Sorry the PIN or SERIAL NUMBER YOU ENTERED IS VALID"

Pls can anyone help

shut up!! I am exposing the hypocrisy of the mods and the owner of this forum. And yes it is wrong to expose sexually explicit contents to minors. If the show is 18+ rated, thats the real justification to ensure they are not posted on nairaland front page that is not rated 18. Imagine posting porn for your younger one's to see. You probably don't have kids so you cannot understand why regulating sexually explicit contents is important.

The OP is not being judgemental, she is asking a valid question, if one is really ready to walk with God, then he shouldn't be going back to the same sin everytime; repenting from the sin is very imperative. If true Repentance has occurred and you sin, you will feel so bad and remorse because you actually did something contrary to your new nature (of being born again), asking for forgiveness everytime for the same sin is an indicator that true Repentance hasn't occurred.

Imagine telling your kid to stop fighting at school and he tells you: I'm sorry dad i won't fight anymore, he goes to school every other day fighting and the school management is abt to expel him for his ill mannered behaviour, will you forgive him the next time he comes to tell you he won't fight at school anymore? I don't know abt you but at this point i will beat the hell out of him because he hasn't actually repented and changed from his bad behaviour, he hasn't actually respected my order, he has been taking me for granted.

This is not to justify sin but the scriptures say "what can separate us from the love of God?" God hates sin but loves the dinner. I always advise people to avoid sin , but if they sin, the church is the best place to go for cleansing. Do you know that by listening to God's word, we're cleansed?
Let's not condemn one another but encourage ourselves to yield more to God and in no time, we'll realize that for the child of God, sin is not an option but a matter Christ already dealt with for us. God bless us all.

You miss her point!! She isn't saying those couples shouldn't go to church, but how is it that they go to church without any remorse, they go to church on Sunday and continue their immoral acts after church without guilt. The key thing when asking God for forgiveness is that you have decided to surrender all to Him and repent from all your sins; so if you keep on asking for forgiveness everytime for the same sin, it means you have actually not repented, you cannot take God's mercies for granted!!

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." That's what the bible says in Acts of the apostles. Repentance is very key, without repentance, you are just trying to deceive yourself and God but God cannot be mocked, whatever you sow you shall reap!! This is not to condemn sinners but I am trying to say the OP's question is valid, with true Repentance, you will hardly go back to your sin.

Quick question: If no one is willing to sell their T bills investment after the primary market issue, there will be nothing like a secondary market right? Also assuming for a 91 says TB, only one person is willing to sell after a month (so 2 months remaining), does the bank necessary offer me the exact effective rate for a 2 months period? Or i need to renegotiate?
