Yes you can use the certificate for your application... Since the certificate already shows that you don't have tb

I was issued a tuberculosis certificate by IOM. It says no evidence of active pulmonary TB. But it also says chest xray is abnormal. The doctor said my heart is a little larger than normal. But that it's very normal with pregnancy. She said I can use the certificate for my application as it's not related to TB. My questions are;

Does anyone have any experience with this? Can I use the certificate for my application? Also I was given 3 copies. One is a referral letter to my doctor. The other is the TB cert and the 3rd has details of the findings. Please which do I submit among the 2?

Hope it won't take long before it is sorted please? Because we are so scared right now

The best is for the person concerned to report it like as if it is a mistake and you need it changed. If they reply the better but the first red flag to note is they ignore your mail and you will have to be sending reminders before they either tell you to return it for another one or they say it was no mistake. Just do your best as the one I witnessed was no mistake and the dependant has stuck with the no work no business BRP till date .SEEK Further counsel.

Are you recently married to the main Applicant? If yes that could be a reason if No ....then maybe something else. Which ever way please reach out to them for clarity. It's a new trend I discovered for the dependant and some are mistakes some are deliberate They are brewing something and I hope it's not what I think.

Please what does it mean when "no work no business" is written on a dependant visa? And how can it be corrected? Provided the the person has already travelled to the UK. Is there any reason to be panic?

My Sojourn to UK and POE Experience


Yho guys, I am presently in the UK.

I boarded Ethiopian Airline from Abuja. 2 Travelling Bags (23Kg each), one hand luggage (7Kg) , my Laptop Bag.

I wore two sweaters , one Winter Jacket and held the other Jacket just to reduce the scaled KG.

One of my 23Kg bags contained my clothes, shoes and the other 23Kg bag contained food stuffs and drugs (I bought different antibiotics as it is expensive in the UK and other drugs like Vitamin D(because of lack of sunlight), Paracetamol etc).

Ethiopian Airline is cool (5 hours stop over) but I will have loved to follow Egypt Airline (12 hours stop over but hotel accommodation and good food .

I choosed to travel weekend because I envisaged a good number will go for that option and so the Immigration Officers won't have the time to ask lots of questions.

Also the immigration officers In Abuja didn't give me headache, one even advised I use POS to deposit the Naira left with me since the old Naira will be out of circulation this year.

Journey started from Abuja to Addis Ababa. We waited for close to 7 hours before boarding the flight to London.

At Hearthrow Airport, my POE went this way:

1. Officer : What's your purpose in the UK
Me : For Study

2. Officer: What is your course of study
Me : I told him and also mentioned the name of my University.

3. Officer : Are you a new student ?
Me : Yes

4. Officer : Place your thumb over there. Then be stamped it.


PS :
1. Keep a smiling face when approaching any official you encounter in the course of your traveling. Also say hello when you approach them.

2. Your major hurdle is to carry those bags to any of the Airports in Nigeria. Once you have boarded, you shouldn't face any major challenge WRT that. There is a Bus station at the Airport and you can carry your luggage using Trolley.

3. There are ATM machines at the airport where you can withdraw pounds with your dollar card.

4. You will enjoy Free WiFi both at Ethiopia Airport and Hearthrow Airport.

5. Make plans for accomodation before leaving so as not to get stranded.

I don't know if I should be happy or scared now because I and my dependant went for biometric on 6th, though we paid for priority for the MA but each time I check the tracker it always show the same progress. Now the tracker is showing received by VAC for the both of us as at this morning.
Any advice please??

Please oh, house put me through. I applied for did Biometric on the 5th. I just got a mail now stating that my travel documents are ready for collection. Does it mean my visa is approved? Or is there a formal way it would be stated?
