THe Quran is a book revealed to Muhammad (SAW). If you are looking for his miracles in it, then you are mistaken. But if you are looking for his (SAW) miracles, then you should go to the hadith. moreover we muslims don't emphasise so much on his miracles. The Quran is the book of God unlike the bible that contains many contradictions-compare 1 chronicles 19:18 & 2 samuel 10:18. Even scientists have proved the Quran to be correct. George Bernard-Shaw said that the "bible is the most dangerous book on earth, it should be kept under lock and key
". Can you also say that the Songs of Solomon is an inspired word of God? If you read the Quran with an unbiased mind, you will increase in piety and the fear of God unlike the bible that teaches stories & contradictions. Your problem is that you read the Quran with a biased mind. Now christians complain about the muslims being violent but have you ever imagined how xtians abuse Islam, Muhammad(SAW), and everythung that is islamic? Go through this forum and see how xtians abuse Islam.

Whatb does a muslim think about Jesus and what does a christian think about Muhammad (SAW)? The replies will let us know the real trouble makers on NL. This is excluding atheist cos i don't want you to infiltrate this thread with your replies. To the atheists in the house, i'm not trying to restric your 'movement' on NL but this thread is only opened to muslims, christians, traditional worshippers etc. Thanks in anticipation.

Is it truly? I've thought about the contents of the bible & i asked if it is really the word of God. In the Sept. 8 1967 edition of Jehovah's magazine, "AWAKE", they said that there are about 50,000 errors in the bible. Can these be traced to God? Secondly, i came acoss some verses of the bible that butresses my point. Here they are:
In 2 Chronicles 36:9, it is written "Johoiachin was eight years old wen he began to reign , " but in 2 Kings 24:8 it is written " Johoiachin was eighteen years old ehen he began to reign, " . Please who is lying?
Again, in 2 Chronicles 9: 25 it is written that Solomon had four thousand stalls of horses, but in 1 Kings 4:26, it is written that Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses. . please reply and don't attack personalities.

Is it because it is written in the Bible that makes it correct?

Sometimes I get amazed by the level of ignorance displayed by some Christians. They derive pleasure abusing Islam- yet they are the ones that complain of blasphemy (I have not noticed a thread where Muslims abuse the Christians as much as the Christians do).
My main reason of creating this thread is to show that the Bible talks about the coming of Muhammad (SAW) against the backdrop of the average Christian’s belief. The Christians paint the holy prophet (SAW) in a bad light. They agree in their wisdom that he is a rioter. It is people like that that prompted George Bernard Shaw to say
“IF A MAN LIKE MUHAMED WERE TO ASSUME THE DICTATORSHIP OF THE MODERN WORLD, HE WOULD SUCCEED IN SOLVING ITS PROBLEMS THAT WOULD BRING THE MUCH NEEDED PEACE AND HAPPINESS”

This may sound akward but it's the truth. The bible talked about the coming of Muhammad (SAW). In Deut. 18:18, GOD saiod to Moses,
"I will raise them up a prophet from AMONG THEIR BRETHREN , LIKE UNTO THEE, and i will PUT MY WORDS INTO HIS MOUTH, and he shall speak unto them ALL THAT I SHALL COMMAND HIM. A lot of christians believe that the said prophet is Jesus but he's not. The promised prophet is the holy prophet of Islam (SAW). To prove this, let us examine the verse.
1. LIKE UNTO THEE- Christian believe that Jesus is the son of God and @ the same time he is God. Wll, the bible said that the promised man is a prophet. Another proof is that Moses and Muhammad did some thing that Jesus did not do; marrying, normal birth (with fathers), they were both law-givers while Jesus only came to fulfil the law etc.

2. AMONG THEIR BRETHREN- Abraham gave birth to Isaac & Ishmael but becauseof the jealousy of Sarah, Abraham sent Hagar away to Paran. Muhammad later turned out to be a descendant of Ishmael & Isaac gave birth to Jacob who later became the father of Israel. This makes Muhammad (SAW) a descendant of Abraham.
3. PUT MY WORDS INTO HIS MOUTH- Everytime Muhammad(SAW) received a revelation, he said it as it is being dictated by angel Gabriel. Moreso, he was not learned.
4. ALL THAT I SHALL COMMAND HIM- Every chapters in the Holy Quran starts in the name of Allah (God).
See how this description fits Muhammad.
Furthermore, Isaiah 29:12, it is written ", and the book is delivered to him that is not learned". We all know that Muhammad was not learned, so who is the 'him' in that verse.
