DEBOLABI: i registered for TIN and i was issued. but i needed VAT CERTIFICATE. FIRS official in there office told me to bring (10,000 NAIRA for VAT CERTIFICATE).
i taught it was a joke.

i needed this VAT CERTIFICATE badly last week, i have no option than to pay the 10,000 naira. But what i was given sound suspicious, although it was carbonized on a receipt. They collected the 10,000 (naira) in cash in there office (OTTA integrated office) without any receipt to show for it.

what amazed me most was that PEN (biro) was using to write my company name.

please House help me confirm if what i'm given CAN ACTUALLY REPRESENT VAT CERTIFICATE?

yes! That's what it looks like and it seems genuine but FYI: all FIRS payments are made at the bank, e-tickets duly issued and receipted even if such payment is paltry N50.

eddiebruk: Write an Application Letter to the comptroller general of FIRS with your registered company letter headed paper to obtain a TIN number, take the letter there together with your Incorporation certificate, they will make a copy of it, and give you a form to fill, after which you will be asked to return back to get your TIN.

Please don't misguide people with your ignorance. learn to stay mute when you don't have the substance to contribute on a topic.
Note:
1. The Executive head of FIRS is Executive Chairman and not Comptroller General
2. You don't write an Application in order to obtain a TIN. You are only required to take your registration papers for sighting
3. A Business name is different from a Company, the latter is incorporated while the former is not
4. You don't submit anything and come back as it doesn't take more than 20mins to have your TIN generated, printed and issued to you for FREE.
Finally, the procedure is as follows...To obtain a TIN number is so simple cos its FREE and instant. just get all your papers regarding the business name registration to REVENUE HOUSE (FIRS HQ), Project FACT Office (Room 302)and in few minutes your Business details will be captured, TIN number generated and a printout issued to you. #Shikena

The truth be told, Majority of candidates rely on malpractice rather than hardwork which is nowadays so pervasive and quite distubing.
I remember getting a broadcast of the purpoted answers in the early hours of the saturday the exams was written. some relied on that option without considering what PAPER TYPE stands for.
I suggest JAMB makes the exams hencefoth strictly computer based, that way, there wont be an outcry of victimization cos you unbiasedly get back the garbbage you give in. #MyOpinon

Am currently doing my thesis but have been having difficulties going further due to the kind of secondary data am required to use. the study involves the use of Financial statements of atleast 100 small and medium scale Nigerian manufacturing companies for a period of 3years each for a Time Series Data Analyses.
Attached, is a sample of a hypothetical Financial Statement of ABC Ltd approved as acceptable by my supervisor.
Now, i am in dire need of Finanial Statements for about 100 companies in such fashion and really dont know how to go about it.
please anyone with an idea of how i can go about getting such data?

I had an experience that got me so marveled, my car tank's capacity is 70liters but on a fateful day at the filing station when I went to fill my tank that was on reserve, even after scrupulously checkin the metre readin to make sure the countin starts from 0.00, the irredeemable criminal of a pump attentdant still found his way to ficticiously dispense 80litres aπϑ still countin until I furiously asked him to stop. I angrily insulted aπϑ accused him of cheatin but there was no prove... #NaijaIStillDeyWonder. I also noticed that the fuel from some fillin stations don't last as much as the ones from others. #smh
