Hi Guys,

What is the difficult aspect of cooking for you?

is it:

Going to the market
Prepping the ingredients
Cooking
Eating. I included this because there are people who cook then lose appetite afterwards.

Mine happened in 2013. Finished my first semester exams though I still have two papers to write but that will be in a week time so I decided to travel to lag without telling a soul. My sis was even in lag but I didn't even tell her. Want to see boyfriend. Day to leave and head back to school came and Bobo said no money for tp(I barely survived the one week, was even ill sef). Had to start sending whatsapp messages to my friends so the can send me some cash. I was able to get the tp, so the plan was I will take a morning bus and my sis was leaving that same day too so I was praying I don't meet her in the park. We got to the park but the morning bus has already left. So the plan was now a night bus and since I don't have enough cash on me, he had to leave me at the park and head back home cos it won't be possible for us to leave together. Spent the whole day at the park, we left around 7pm. Few hours into the journey, we got a tire burst and na for one deserted bush. The driver came down and fixed it, we sha left there after 11. By 6 we were at the outskirts of logical when the the same tire burst again and no more spare. The driver called and was told to wait for the night bus for the day to bring tire. Meanwhile, popci was busy calling to know when I was leaving Zaria to Jos. Last last, na passengers contribute and a tire was bought and fixed by then it was already after 12 in the afternoon. I Sha told popci I was passing through Kd and we had tire issues. Reached Jos around 10pm a journey of 12 hours took more than 24 hours. Popci and my brother were already waiting at the junction to pick me and my sis(she arrived before me). I missed my exams and spent a week on admission in the hospital.

Thanks dear. I usually start by mixing my eggs, sugar and milk. Then I add water and mix then my flour mixed with baking powder and I mix the batter.. Note, it shouldn't be too thick or too runny. Then scoop and fry.

Got chased by tow bingos. When going to school, I don't like following normal route that people follow oh, na bush I dey ever follow. That fateful date I was heading to school with my books on my head. Met two bingos on the way, I didn't know the time i reach road oh. Them sha bite me.
The second was our Rottweiler, he hated all the women in the house, he only warms up to my dad and brother. He did something wrong and my brother gave him some small beatings. Unknown to me, I went close and na so the dog transfer him aggression to my leg. It was not funny, I escaped with a punctuated wonder on my leg and hand.

Buns

All those commercials soups are usually not that tasty, you will hardly find a good masa spot wey get correct soup. If you want correct soup, it should be the homemade ones, so just stick with the Yaji for now. Maybe when next am in Jos, will see to it

It was muddy and delicious. You'll get better with time. It has been ages since I baked cake

You never jam better soup na why, but when you do, you will also like it.

Yes. I prefer the Yaji to the soup though

You will need rice(the one used in making swallow). Soak for some hours till soft, drain and taking to a mill for grinding. Meanwhile, take a cup of the rice and boil till soft. After grinding the raw one, you mix with the cooked one and add your yeast, cover and allow it to rise. Some leave for some hours but some over night.
NB:the local rice is the best for it. Hope dis helps

That is it but is not the normal rice we eat, there is a special rice for it. You can even use maize to make it but the rice is more popular and taste great with soup or with yaji.

Mine is Maxi. The auto ignite works only when there's light...it doesn't even work most time. Crazy Maxi guys
