FoodRe: Cook In Your Kitchen, Take Pictures And Post It Here. SIMPLE! by Halcyon123(f): 4:47pm On Oct 02, 2019
Yes dear, you can also use Guinea corn(the red or white), millet too but the best is the Guinea corn especially the white one. Then you can add tiger nuts but the dry one. Then dere is what we call siro, is basically fermented rice that has started sprouting and then the dankali which is dried sweet potatoes.
sassysure:
Are these the ingredients?

What is dankali?

Seems u are from the north too.

I didn't taste kunu as I don't know what they use in preparing it.
FoodRe: Cook In Your Kitchen, Take Pictures And Post It Here. SIMPLE! by Halcyon123(f): 4:42pm On Oct 02, 2019
Burukutu aka bkt is the fermented form of kunu. It is actually drunk from Calabash. Shey you stay in Jos, try take a stroll to DB Zang Junction and you will see it dere. Don't try it if you can stand it oh.
Akposy:

Giddyperson:
I'm also really considering taking out Jadelle and going for none hormonal, but first I want to wean Amali and change my diet, if I don't lose weight on a diet then id take it out. If I take it out, I'd miss this my fake menopause sha cheesy I hate periods.

Currently on pills but na the same plane with the implant (weight gain). Now am thinking of the non hormonal cos I can't deal with the weight
keeki:
Ok after removing which did you go for?
HealthRe: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Halcyon123(f): 11:45am On Sep 25, 2019
Had the implant last year and here was the pros and cons for me. Body differs, so what worked for me might not work for you. What I enjoyed about it for the no period, sometimes I can go 2 or more months without period and if it decides to show, is merely spoting and what I didn't like about it was the fact that it turned me to orobo(Fatty) had to remove it cos I was not happy with the weight gain.
keeki:
Please Mama's the used the implant family planning.what was your experience with it?any side effects? Please don't jump and pass.help a sister biko

HealthRe: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Halcyon123(f): 7:57pm On Aug 20, 2019
I agree with you on dis. I wasn't a picky eater sha but I can stay hungry all day and won't feel hungry and I could eat any concoction and get away with it but after I put to bed, it was like a new me. I dare not stay hungry if not, I get shaky and sweaty. Worst of all, I can not eat everything again. Any food I eat now, na heart burn. And I dare not eat pepper. Childbirth really changes ones system.
Chinnybaby99:
I was a picky eater right from birth. So while my siblings and cousins were big I was smallish but you need to see me now. I can finish one big pot of rice and still be crying for food. I am surprised at the change of my appetite after giving birth. Something is always in my mouth and I am trying to control it because I'm over 100 kg from 60kg.

Ayauche:
This same issue brought me here. My 14months old refuse to take any food ooo except pap, cerelac and those kinda stuff. If u force any other food, that food will stay in his mouth till u by yourself bring it out or it dissolves nd u give him water to swallow. Am so very confused and frustrated.
