I do enjoy raw veggies oh. My sis thought me how to eat raw tomatoes and then the local salad made with lettuce, tomatoes, pepper, water cress, onions all raw but I always jump the onions. Then dad thought me how to chew green beans raw, I eat cabbage raw too, carrots very crunchy.

Had dis in April, all strip test came out negative but a blood test said positive. Went to the hospital and ran another look test a week after the first and it came out negative.

A close relative was confirmed pregnant 2 weeks ago via blood test oo, and just yesterday, she saw blood and decided to visit the hospital.

Here's what the gynea said " She wasn't pregnant in the first instance, something about a hormone or so.

My thoughts are all over the place, am not worried about her taking in again, I just feel sad, imagine been told you were pregnant only to be told 2 weeks later, oh you were not really pregnant.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Been trying to conceive since February when I stopped fp, had a chemical pregnancy in April and a confirmed and bold bfp dis may. Thank all for accepting me here, may God grant all our heart desires which is to be mother's. Don't give up, God is still doing marvelous things, he will answer when we least expect. Yes, there is. Is mostly call kunun gyeda. We use groundnut and rice use in making tuwo to make it.

Rice porridge( don’t know if it has a Nigerian equivalent) with bread and egg. It’s mostly eaten with sugar and milk and is a common and much eaten breakfast in Ghana. Quick and easy to make. You’re invited.

Sorry but my first post is more of a rant and might be a long read.
So I got pregnant 2016(not married then) I tried many abortion attempts but all failed so I resigned to accepting that the baby was here to stay. Had a successful delivery April 2017 and had to do family planning to avoid stories that touch and because I wanted to be married first before I think of trying again. Wedding with baby daddy was slated for April 2020,so I though to start trying from Feb. Unfortunately wedding had to be postponed till further notice all thanks to covid19. 1st April I had bleeding which I was hoping and praying it should be implantation bleeding. Did a strip test but it came out negative. Was wondering why cos I had all the telltale sign of pregnancy. Went for blood test and it came out positive. My Joy knew no bounds, I had to visit the hospital cos I was feeling so weak and coupled with cramps. Scan showed nothing, not even a scan. Had to switch to a private hospital cos the teaching hospital were just running skeletal services. The doctor suggested we do another blood pt and it came out negative but the doctor said I should not be discouraged and to see her in a week's time so we repeat the test according to her the might be an error either from the first lab I ran the test or theirs. Didn't bother going again cos my period showed up. Am not discouraged I know God will do it at His time, not mine and He will surprise us all when we least expect. Sorry for the long post.

Oatmeal Cookies

½ and ¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
⅛ tsp baking soda
⅛ tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
¼ cup margarine
¼ cup brown sugar
⅛ cup granulated sugar...you can substitute with honey
½ egg (about ⅛ cup)
¼ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup oat (½ works too)
Raisin (optional)

Cream the butter and sugar till it is creamy.
Add in your egg and vanilla and mix together.
In a separate bowl, mix the other dry ingredients together (don't add the oat and raisins).
Mix the dry ingredients into the butter mix and "fold in". Please do not over mix at this stage.
Add in the oat and raisins (if using). Gently fold in.

Line your baking tray with parchment paper
Preheat your oven to about 180°c (I used my discretion here cos my oven doesn't have thermometer, just ensure the oven is not very hot or rather burning high.
You can refrigerate your dough for about 30mins (I didn't refrigerate mine cos it wasn't available). However, refrigerating the dough helps prevent the dough from spreading too thin in the oven.

Scoop with an ice cream spoon unto the baking sheet and bake till the edge comes out golden (I used my 1 tablespoon "spoon" to scoop and fold into a ball).
Kindly note, don't over bake. That was the mistake I made. Once the edges are brown and cripsy, remove from the oven and allow to cool. The center might look uncooked but oatmeal cookies are meant to be soft and chewy.
