HealthRe: Cost Of IVF In Nigeria by halfcurrent(m): 7:09pm On Oct 24, 2011
Akiika:
@Elizapat,
IVF is In Vitro Fertilization, please read more on IVF or any health related matter on WebMD ( http://www.webmd.com/). I'm not a Dr. but you need to take care of that fibroid first. The Fluid falling back is another thing that my wife went through after our first child. OK let me share my story with you, i live in Houston Texas, US. My wife and i have a 4 yrs old boy and had problem conceiving afterwards, of course we seeked medical help here but didn't yield any result. My sis-in-law in Nigeria got my wife to speak to a herbal dr. ( iya Alagbo), she made some dried herbs that was sent to us. We soaked it in water as instructed and my wife took it a couple of times, she conceived a month after. By the grace of God, we now have a 4 month old daughter. If you think this is an accident, i have referred another of my friend in Dallas without kid after a 5 years old marriage and his wife is now pregnant. I'll be happy to give you the herbal Dr's no. should you decide to try this unorthodox treatment. I have spent over $5,000 in treatments here, but this woman charged less than 15,000 naira ($100). Good luck.
I am interested in this your solution. How can I contact you?

There is really no "YES" or "NO" answer to this. What may work for Mr/Mrs "A" may not work for Mr/Mrs "B", however from personal experience o; my answer is capital YES. Get to know yourselves as much as possible before tying the nut. it helps.
PoliticsRe: Why So Much Tribalism In Nairaland And Nigeria? by halfcurrent(m): 9:33pm On Oct 14, 2011
I feel u guys. its really sad indeed. Sometimes i wonder why Seun can't just lock off any thread if tribal sentiment is introduced. If he does that, am sure it will go long way in sending the right signal that tribal remarks should be discouraged cos it will never do us any good. i have very good friends from different part of naija, Ibo, Yoruba, Hausa, jaw, Edo, etc. and these are all nice guys and ladies. pls, pls, pls, let us say no tribalism
RomanceRe: What Does Love Mean To You In A Relationship? by halfcurrent(m): 11:06am On Oct 14, 2011
The difference between sex, super sex and love,

Girl asks her mother: What is sex?

Mother: Sex is when you stop a car driven by a man who offers you a meal in a restaurant, and then you spend some time with him in the hotel room, sleep with him once, and then each one go on his way and you have a hundred dollars bill extra in your pocket.

Then the girl asks her mother: What is Super Sex?

Mother: Super sex is when you stop a limousine driven by Chauffeur and a stylish man is sitting in the back who takes you to a luxurious villa, gives you a sumptuous meal with distinctive Caviar, and then you spend the night together in bed and engage in sex more than once, and then you part with an envelope containing a thousand dollars in your pocket.

And then the girl asks her mother: What is love?

Mother: Love is a lie invented by men so that they can have sex with you for free! :

lol

thank you half current.do you have info on refineries mostly the 3 they want to build in indonesia?
My Brother, Honestly I don't have information on this o. A friend of mine just sent it to me this morning - see below:

Nigeria To Invest US$2.68 billion in construction of oil refineries in Indonesian
By Staff K 6 minutes ago

Font size:

Nigeria is to sink a staggering US$2.68 billion in the construction of three oil refineries in faraway Indonesia, The Jakarta Post reported today.

The newspaper was told by Panggah Susanto, a director of the Ministry of Industry in that country, that Nigeria had been looking for a partner to refine its crude oil, and both countries agreed [for that purpose] to build three refineries in Indonesia.

"Previously they wanted the refineries to be built in Nigeria," Susanto said of the Nigerian counterparts. "However, as Indonesia is currently improving its downstream industry, Indonesia wanted the refineries to be built here instead."

Apparently, they got their will. According to the director, "State firm PT Pertamina will buy the crude oil from Nigeria and process it here."

It is unclear why Nigeria has chosen to refine its crude abroad, and the matter appears to be shrouded in secrecy. The Nigerian people have not been informed of the deal, or about how it will benefit them.

The current Nigeria government is fraught with policy hiccups. Only last month, the Nigerian president, after a meeting with Mr. Jai-Seong Lee, the president and chief executive officer of South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy, announced that the company, the world’s largest shipbuilder, would build a multi-billion shipyard in Bayelsa State that would create thousands of jobs.

The following day, Hyundai Heavy denied any such arrangement.

L & G, Please, please, please!!!, let us for once leave this tribal war/comments and face the real issue on the thread. I have always said it that tribal issues have never helped us in this country and will never do. Please let us discuss like enlightened people that we are. Have you guys ever noticed that lots of intelligent discussions/ideas/comments come out of NL if tribal comments are not introduced? Simply ignore any comment that has tribal connotation and let’s move ahead. Thank you.

CrimeRe: Update: Absu violation Saga; Police Free Suspects by halfcurrent(m): 2:11pm On Sep 30, 2011
The recent violation saga from Abia State University, Uturu - Abia State Nigeria might turn into one of the many famous Nigerian cases to be thrown under the carpet as the Police have released the suspects arrested in connection to the incident.

THERE was jubilation across the world following the news three of the five students whose video of their shocking violation of a hapless female student sparked outrage across the globe.
The marathon violation was alleged to have involved students of the Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU), South East Nigeria, but reportedly off campus.

But those who rejoiced over the news of the arrests may have done so too soon.
Speaking with The Moment On Sunday evening of Saturday September, the Abia State Police Commissioner, Mr. Bala Hassan, confirmed that arrests were made but the suspects had been released after questioning.
Hassan said that those arrested were released when they convinced the police that they were not the people mentioned online and knew nothing about the gang violation.
He said the police was handicapped in investigating the incident because the victim was yet to report the incident to the police.
'If we had seen her, we would question her, play the video footage and see if she can identify the suspects,' the police commissioner said.
'For now, it is pretty difficult for us to fish out the culprits because it is only the girl that can be of immense help.

Seriously, how will people be fighting smoke? You are shouting over a violation saga when the girl has not owned up. You have not even seen the girl to know what really happened and then I heard this video circulated in the school and the girl obviously had knowledge of it and could have reported to the police but kept mute. She has friends too who could have given a clue on who she is.
My problem is if the girl is not willing to own up, help the police and report the case and say who the suspects are, then people should just die the case. It might have been one of those masochisms that was captured and blown out of proportion but then I have not seen the video so no one should crucify me. lol
spot on and well said. Die the case if she is not willing to assist the police rather than roping innocent people

EventsRe: Sign The Petition:private Companies Do Not Employ Any Graduate Of Absu by halfcurrent(m): 8:23am On Sep 24, 2011
I do appreciate the genuine concern of all on this ugly incident. A similar thing happened in UNIBEN sometime ago when a group of boys locked up some girls, beat them up and probably forcefully violated them, and also circulated the video. The reason they gave on the video was that the girls were practising lesbianism. Up till this moment, not much was heard on that in terms of police investigation. I thing the major issues is to address the decay amongst our youth, and the Nigeria system in general. I do not think that to single out a particular institution or ethnic group will help us.
CrimeRe: ABSU Gang Violation Suspect Has Been Identified – Minister by halfcurrent(m): 6:15pm On Sep 23, 2011
i really pity the poor girl; am sure she must have been through lots of trauma, however I think she is endangering her life by keeping mute, especially if the boys have been identified and at large going by the Minister's comment. This is because those bastards could go as far as hurting or killing her to permanently close any evidence. Therefore I think it is actually in her interest to quickly report the matter to the police so that can quickly make arrest.
