Pls can someone help with info on how long it typically take for medical results to be available at ICC Canadian Imigration website after the medical exam.
I did the exam with my 5yrs old daughter two days ago, and have just checked my application portal and seen that her own has been posted as passed medical, but mine is yet to be reflected.
Any one with and advise or idea pls?

As mentioned, I have come back to quote this.

PPR dropped this morning, same with correspondence letter. The Lord is forever merciful to me and my family.

I won’t bother with documents submitted because I am fully convinced it wasn’t because of my documents but the Lord’s faithfulness.

Here’s my timeline however:
Applied June 22 - First time applicant
Biometrics - June 24
Medicals request - Oct 14
Medicals updated to passed - Nov 7th(Yup, Sunday)
Correspondence Letter & PPR - Nov 10

The SOWP is a different type entire. It is known as the SOWP; get it via google and it will take you to the page direct. For your 6yr old, it is a matter of ticking as a dependant that will be accompanying you then do a detailed SOP stating how you wish to look after the child and meet their needs both financially and in parental care. You will have to sufficiently prove that their accompanying you is to a best interest .

Hello all, good evening. Pls I need advise. My wife has just been issued a Study Visa and is leaving for Canada anytime soon. Next step is that I am considering applying for myself and my first daughter, who is 7yrs.
Question is .. What category of Visa should we be applying for? Visitor or Open Work permit.
Though the intention is for my daughter to enroll in primary school, while I will be visiting since I can’t leave my job. Appreciate any guidance or advise in this direction. Thanks

Hello, pls what options is there on IRCC application portal for SOWP? the options i saw were just Visitor - Less than 6 months, Visitor - more than 6months, and Students? Is it advisable to apply together with my 6yr old daughter (on student) or do i put in separate applications. Kindly advise.
Also what documents are generally required? Do i need to write an SOP?

Good day everyone.
A close friend of mine recently got her Study Visa approved for Canada and is currently making arrangement to travel. She intends to travel to UK, spend a couple of days before leaving for Canada in mid-August. The question now is does she need to buy a return flight ticket bearing in mind that she is not coming back to Nigeria, at least for the next 2years, hence date of return is not known for now. We did a few online searches on Expedia and found some reasonably priced one-way ticket; however, her fear is that she does not know if it is mandatory to buy a return ticket.
