I hope I am not about to reopen a healing wound but I don't know why I feel angelapinkytoes never meant to truly scam anybody. I know most of my pals here: halidaf, bobority, gunther, slimmy, oludare, imperioux et al will definitely disagree with me on this but I think I'm a good judge of character. She seemed a bit flamboyant and perhaps was playing to the gallery a bit too much but I strongly doubt she is a scammer. Except she's of the femme fatale nature. Oh well, maybe I neva jam sha.

When I posted my transcript.. I stated that I was interviewed on the 1st which was Friday...
The question I asked when I put the weds to fri date was because I wanted it to be a general question for all the people that were interviewed between weds and fri...

I didn't post the name of my school for personal reasons..

And when I went through people's transcripts.. I didn't have any business with the name of their school...all I wanted to know was how to prepare, the questions likely asked and how to structure my responses..it helped me...

I don't want any quarrel over this pls...it's not an issue..

It's sad to see the way the thread has turned out,I came on here first in 2011 and applied for fall 2011. Never knew the thread was as strong as it were,I can't even log in to my old account. Shout out to Waledudu,Kunlebal,Snazzygirl,Imperiouxx,webstradamus,MsNas,to mention a few. These were men who held down the thread with valor and matured minds. Most of them got their visas,deactivated their accounts and left in order to avoid been insulted by a new comer here. F1 visa is not the end people,my advice it's not about the amount of money you spend on education here after graduation,when it comes to job offers.American citizens will be considered first in most corporations. It's about God's favor here. I came on here with the mind of going to school but after my first year I found out I could hardly pay my tuition nor buy books or pay rent for my apartment. I had to drop out of school,found labor jobs with the help of God sent people I was paid 10dollar an hour,my boss was happy with my determination and interest to learn more and increased my pay from 10 to 20 an hour. I saved and was able to pay my bills. Today,am proud to say I have a good job,was able to finish my schooling,set my siblings back in Nigeria straight and have a pretty American wife. America is a blessed country and so much for everyone. Just hold on to your God and he will favor you by meeting the right people. Goodluck to those who got their visas recently,the journey just started.

Busted!!! So you skipped being PR and jumped straight to citizenship abi? You must think all of us on this thread are dumbasses! How did your mom file for citizenship for you? It's either she filed a petition for you to become a green card holder first or you become a citizen automatically through your parents who were citizens (even though you were born in Nigeria, they just need to file some paperwork, apply for a CRBA(Consular Report of Birth Abroad) if you're under 18 or a Certificate of Citizenship if you're over 18 and you become a citizen as well). I'm pretty sure if the latter is the case, you will know. If you will be a USC in 3 months, why did you not wait until then before you go to grad school instead of hustling for student visa in Nigeria and pay international student fees when you could pay lesser. Even if my Dad was Dangote, I would prefer to wait three months and have the luxury of going to school as a USC, common sense na, lol. Either ways, your story has holes. Small small on this thread abeg!

I am a regular traveler too, and not once has anybody requested to see my Nigerian passport. Haba now!!!
