My entire being is against MEND for this. But, to borrow a text from the Holy bible, SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN THAT GRACE MAY ABOUND? We keep blaming MEND as if our lives as a nation are in their hands. Even if they admit the anti-GEJ whatever is  using them, how will solve the problem? Will it prevent a repetition of this present madness? NO! NO! NO!
I get ur point so so well, y not throw d question "wats d way forward" to d whole house. 4 me I believe we need 2 change our mindset on alot of things hence we'll be revolving about 1 point with no meaningful improvement.

oyb,

Enough with your nonsense. The majority of the organizations that the West classify as terrorist organization are Islamic organizations. The West sees itself at war with Islam, not African groups.

Boko Haram would be on this list before MEND is ever put on this list.

Shut your nonsense.
u r so so uninformed. The somali pirates dat have been classified by the US as a terrorist organisation is not an African group abi, Honestly i'm beginning 2 think u r an uneducated Cyber cafe attendant dat is just fortunate 2 have access to internet. it's good dat u r displaying ur ignorance here not some where else sha

Who said I support MEND? A predominately Ijaw organization. I lean towards the Ndi Igbo and Ibibio, not these Ijaw organizations.

Simply raised the issue and said that they sent out a warning. Most organizations of that nature do not give warnings.

Let's all have a rethink. In the Aba debacle we blamed T.A Orji, not the kidnappers. Why are we now blaming MEND. MEND is responsible for this attack, but the security officers are to blame
We definately have security problems in this country but would u capitalize on dat 2 harm an innocent personhuh MEND should just come out and tell us the Anti-GEJ using them 4 political reasons and stop claiming they r fighting for the people of the Niger delta.

PoliticsWhat's Ur Sincere Wish 4 Naija @ 50? by HamidO1(op): 10:53pm On Sep 30, 2010
Hi Nairalanders,
Our dear country Nigeria is 50 years of independence. We've had more negative things to say about our country than positive in the last two decades. The youth of this country have every right to be angry for very obvious reasons which I'll prefer not to dwell on here. The women of this country also have their own grudges for equally obvious reasons which I'll still advice we keep away from this thread.

Beautiful people of Nigeria especially my fellow Nairalanders, lets for once forget all this negative things and at least wish Nigeria well. Lets forget all the people both past and present that have contributed to our downfall. Simply state your honest wishes for Nigeria as we turn 50, things you'll like to see in place in the nearest future.

NOTE : No names like IBB, Atiku, Obasanjo, GEJ and co on this thread. We've argued too much about this people in the past few weeks, lets have this thread to ourselves and be positive about our dear country

It's not a thread for those aspiring to bring Nigeria down but those looking to take it back to the good old days.

The fact dat we have managed to remain as one calls for celebration. Celebration doesn't mean spending billions to organize parties and all that, the perfect birthday present for Nigeria to me will be a free and fair election which I'm not optimistic about. All the same, lets thank God, it is our responsibilty as human beings

All theory no practical,  and how relevant is the
school system exams to real life,

Having said that, i rather have my son/daughter get 8 C'Grades
in Nigeria, than get 8 C's in a USA/Europe school!!!

8 C'Grades in a North American/European school means u suck Big-Time as a Nigerian Student!!!

8 C'Grades from in Nigeria means you are really o.k due to all the marking whahala and other externalities on your exam paper and it also means you are good enuff to go abroad and score Straight A's in an American/European School.

8 A'Grades in Nigeria means you are good enuff to go to America/Europe
and read for Two degress at the same time in Four Year and also make money
on the side working part-time or run your own legit business on the side too lol!!!
dats exactly d problem, wen it comes to subjects like physics n xmistry. things dat can easily be shown 2 d students practically in 5mins, u see d teacher taking d whole day trying 2 explain theoretically n d students still won't understand. Some subjects can't just be based on theory alone. d whole system in NAIJA is bad n really needs overhaulling

All you people blabbing about PS3, DSTV and home videos have got to be out of your minds. A huge number of those who failed cannot afford such luxuries. And even those who can, efficient parenting can easily eliminate too much distraction.
There's a critical flaw in our educational system, there are critical gaps in parenting these days and there are motivation related issues with many of these kids.
Best believe, Majority of those that can't afford such luxury as PS3 also failed so wat r we saying, Our education sector needs overhauling, just vote for the right people dat wil do dat

This is 1 of the reason y we r saying no to IBB, We need some1 with a track record of honesty. The problem with our education started way back and now its gotten to a stage where I can say students hardly gain anything from school, d few exceptions are those who strive for greatness on their own not waiting for any teacher. wat teacher are we talking about, is it the teacher that finished from a strike ridden higher institution?? Trying to point fingers at the exam body, students or parent will take us no where, d whole system is flawed and only the right person at d top can help fix things

before your first date, just send recharge cards periodically and send few text msgs of how was your day.
on the day of the date, let the appointment be in a quality eatry. be an african man and be the first to place your orders. in your orders, tell them u want ice cream, chicken pile, rice and salad, with snails and then a bottle of small water. after that, tell her baby pls don't mind me bcs i like food. then tell the waiter/waitres to take her orders.
please note : u must not let the girl eat more than u on your first date. make sure u talkless. after winning her in the eating competition, tell her u have not eaten so well in a very long while. if she's got sibblings, make sure u organise some take away packs for her to boast your levels.
drop her home if u are on a ride or pay her cab if u are not.
call her later to know if she is home and ok then relaxe she will get back to u.
u too much my broda, i too like dat green part
