As far as we Ndiigbo are concerned, we have married Lilian off to Ubi Franklin and the matter ends there.
Anybody else is just wasting their time, whether Alhaji or Afonja, even Nwanna?
Community youth will parade their head on Nkwo market day, wen dey come to the village.

Lilian Esoro open yansh carry belle born marry, y is she not with her husband?
if their is a problem, we have elders in igbo land and am sure their are elders in Cross River that can mediate and settle it.
Ubi Franklin is inteligent enough to learn and not repeat same thing, likewise Lilian. |

In Igboland, person dey build house, datch him inlaw finish, marry second wife or beat her, she go pack her things leave u. No refunds! That is to those of u with the selling mentality. Nobody is selling anything, just foot the bill for the requirements of the occassion. That is all, no long thing or long story, be a man.
Man no suppose to be for mouth and to climb woman born anyhow, Man is about taking charge and being responsible. U have to demonstrate convincingly that u are able and capable. Foot the bill 4 ur ceremony! Once in a lifetime ceremony! Igbos dont practice polygamy hence we are not expecting u to marry again in ur lifetime. |

kikake: Selling their Daughter? Unless you have money to buy wife.
A piece of advice: if you like any girl from Ubima, or you like a girl from any Igbo area, for a wife, just give her belle. At the sixth month, go to her parent's house to say you want to marry the girl. The parents shall be begging you to bring even a jar of palm wine and take your girl for a wife. Guy that is a misunderstanding becos, if na selling, u no go fit afford am. U are just footing the bill for the occassion via purchasing the requirements. That woman is free to divorce u any time. She is ur wife and not ur property. |

fratermathy: I have no problem with Igbos. Like I've always said, my fiance is an Igbo from Asaba.
My issue is with Igbo people being delusional and hypocritical. Imagine this thread that mentioned 20 distinct ethnic groups at least once: here's the analysis
No Hausa came to fault the topic 1. Only 1 Yoruba came to make a vain point that Urhobos do not have farming villages in Yorubaland. A point that Bigfrancis21 wants to stretch in order to massage his Igbocentric interests 2. Igbos managed to derail this thread and commented on page 1-20, all derailing it with phantom issues and points that have no direct bearing on them. This is not surprising as the trend is there in virtually all threads on Nairaland. 3. One Itsekiri came to say I was biased towards Itsekiri and he made his point and LEFT 4. Isokos came to show their pride and love of the conurbation 5. Urhobos/Warri peeps came for hailings and to identify 6. No OTHER mentioned ethnic groups came to fight or cause squirmishes. This is not to say that they were not there or didn't see the thread.
I leave you to draw conclusions. Dont mind the trolls, mind u, i did pull one of them up and he was not Igbo. He couldn't even spell Igbo. However, the vast majority of us that did comment showed love and supported the thread. U can go through from page 1 to 20 to confirm. |

But it's all good. We no dey fight. We're one even though he disagrees. I'm sorry is i have offended any urhobo/Warri person on this forum.

But if this is a Danjuma some people will not be happy. The guy chop their oil, come chop their chicks join U took those words right out of my mouth. That was probably why the whole affair and wedding was done secretly. Ur suspicion is correct, it is Theophilus Danjuma son, the NigerDelta oil block owner. I wont say it serves them right for their misplace priority, becos it will be like adding salt and pepper to injury. Many of them from southsouth would rather behead each other and hate neighboring tribes, then wonder y no progress. Tompolo father was murdered by Nigeria Army but he still want Nigeria. Oil will soon lose value and they would have lost it all including their women. |

Una Wehdone ooo! U started an Igbo thread and u are complaining about Igbo Tutorial Classes. 4 ur mind, Anioma answer more Bini, Urhobo and Ijaw name than Igbo abi? They dont feel the need to mention igbo becos that would be the same as stating the obvious. They know that they are Igbo, speak igbo, eat igbo food, answer igbo name, follow igbo culture. It is not a topic for debate. However, they are not so bitter to ignore the cultural interaction, similarities and exchange with their neighbors. |
