Lol.. Thanks mate... I'll keep that in mind.

Guy YOU ARE NOT BROKEN. FEAR GOD O! lolzzzz
I'm not a Reverend ok.
From your statement I see the mindset and perception with which you view life. It is a free world my brother but remember that we all will reap the consequences of all our actions someday, one way or the other. All of our actions are seeds sown into the future.
I rest my case I no talk pass there.
Enjoy!

LOL. Bros you be Reverend? Abi e don get one black girl wen you like wey you come dey try chyke her by proxy? Forget that thing bros - Anybody fit blow him money on top anything wey him like, including the German girls. Plenty something dey their body wey no dey our naija girls body. For instance, dem be blondes and our naija girls be black, some fair ones, and some wey don dye their skin color from black to yellow. So, having blondes will be having a different flavour from that which you have been used to. I mean don't we all want to experiment, at some point in life? Try something different? Show me a man that can survive on bread alone, will you? Especially when that bread is not the best and there are varieties staring at you in the face.....Our naija girls pretend die, Blonds don’t (And this is talking from experience). They are so upfront. And I find that very attractive. Our naija girls just wants to take advantage of a ni***….They are always in it for something……mostly financial benefits (however coloured), and this includes the girlfriends and the wives. A blond will shag you without thinking twice, she will dutch the bills with you on dates and outings, she’ll spend time with you simply because she just likes your company…. If a naija girl is spending time with you, look closely, something is in it for her….By the way, you know wetin the ones wey we leave for Naija go dey go? Both the girlfriends and wives? Spare us that gist bro. Let’s talk about visa.

Respect to all the ladies. I don’t mean any disrespect. I’m just saying.
Pauluche:
I see some guys talking about German girls and I laugh. You get 670 euros per month and you wan waste am on partying, clubbing, drinking and on German girls abi? Ok na enjoy! Very soon if you truly came here for studies body go tell you except you came here for something else.
****** If you have someone you are betrothed to like a serious relationship or engagement or probably you're even married guy chill out naaaa easy.... Consider the other party. We know se bodi de be as e get buh you have to understand that distance makes the heart grow fonder. If you truly have a conscience and you fear God you wouldn't do that. I mean wetin de the German girls bodi? Holla to all my black sisters nothing do una joor. I mean brodaly there's no comparison naaa how e de happen passhuhhuh BLACK IS GOLD.
Anyways I no be relationship counselor it was just an issue raised over here yesterday and the previous post about German girls in this thread that necessitated the last paragraph.

Good luck to all 2016 aspirants. Success is yours!

I would gladly help bro. What was your major in your first degree? What graduate course are you looking to study? Why? These are the very basics. Once that is settled, you can start applying to schools that offer your program of choice. Studying in Germany is very procedural (applying to schools, getting admission, applying for student visa, funding of account etc). You must be ready to follow all these steps through. No short cuts! If you can answer those questions then i’ll be able to put you through. However, you should just try and read this thread thoroughly. I understand it’s not easy, but you’ll be doing yourself a lot of good if you read up. Most, if not all, of the frequently asked questions have been dealt with by the good people on here.
AZUH:
Ok hampy thanks. Can you teach me step by step on how to get an admission. I want to go for MA. Let me just forget about going for short course. I wanted to go for it first then get to understand how to run my MA. Can you help?
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Hampy: 8:31am On Nov 06, 2015
If you apply with this letter, the embassy will see that you haven’t paid a dime for the course which will be a very good reason to deny you. And even if you pay the 1500Euros, the possibility of you getting a visa is very slim; like 0.01 on a scale of 1-10. So bro, just forget it. You need to apply for a real program - graduate or undergraduate. This is merely a certificate program bro. Your visa processing will be 6 - 8 weeks for a program of just 1 week, you have to credit 12 months living expenses of 8040Euros in a blocked German account for a stay of just one week? The embassy will see through your desperation bro. Even me wey no be VO no go give you visa.
AZUH:
Good eve house. I applied for a short course after sending my result to them they said they will get back to me in 10 days and they did with via attached asking me to pay for the course fee but I asked them if the money is refundable if I didn't get a visa they said NO. Can I apply with this letter sent to me then if I am lucky to get my visa I willl send the money to them. Does it work that way? Any idea?

The embassy said they are waiting for the alien authority consent. I have emailed the alien authority office but they gave me an automated reply saying they have their hands full because of the refugee is and that they will get back to me on my request. I have also called them but no real person is picking - just an automated voice speaking German over and over. So right now, its just a waiting game. My enrolment deadline has been extended to Nov. 9th. I got your email and I have replied. Thanks. How is going in Berlin?
vonolatunde:
, all the best bro, I am also in Berlin and i received my mail after the 8th week, you can send a mail to the embassy enquiring about the status of your visa application since the stipulated 8 weeks has elapsed, I did just that and I got an almost immediate reply, can I also have your contact details?

Are you talking about a guarantor’s form? I have no idea you have to go to the alien office in Germany for you to write a letter of invitation. I know a guarantor’s form is issued by the alien office but not a letter of invitation. However, I can only say much about the student visas and not any other type of visas. Nevertheless, go for your interview tomorrow, explain your predicament to the VO and wait to hear what they have to say.
duro4real:
Sir, I guess u have seen a sample of invitation letter before, it contains a design paper not like A4, it is butter in colour, and colour it is not just a thing he can write with his hand he has to go to either foreign affairs office in Germany to get a new one. I stand to be corrected sir
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Hampy: 9:00am On Oct 25, 2015
No time for what? How many minutes will it take your Uncle to write you another Invitation letter stating your new passport number and scanning it, and emailing you a copy for you to print and take with you to the embassy tomorrow?

When you get to the embassy you can show them your new passport and explain to them you mistakenly booked your appointment with your old passport number. And then you can hear what they’ll say. The VO is human he/she will listen to you. There is no big deal about this, people make these kind of mistakes all the time. In a new year, you find people quoting dates of the previous year because they are not yet accustomed to the fact that we are in a new year. Would you castigate them for that?

Follow all the advice you’ve gotten so far, but don’t even think about not showing up for your interview tomorrow. That may have dire consequences.

Goodluck.
duro4real:
No time for all these sir, my interview is just tomorrow... Is dere anoder way I can go about it sir?.
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Hampy: 4:32am On Oct 25, 2015
Take a breathe bro. No tears. Your situation is not as bad as it seems. Since you’ve already booked an appointment with your old passport number, you’ll have to correct that anomaly during your interview on Monday. You’ll tender the photocopies of the new passport number and explain to the VO that you had inadvertently booked your appointment with your old passport. As long as your new passport is handy, that shouldn’t be a problem. Besides I want to believe that all the information supplied to the embassy before the interview is just to be able to book an interview date. On the day of your interview, all the documents you’ll be submitting to the VO will be the documents they’ll consider to process your visa application. As for your letter of invitation, I’m sure by now you’d have contacted your uncle to rewrite and send you another one with your accurate information. He can send it to you as a pdf in email and you can print it out and take to your interview. You do not need the health insurance for now, but tell your uncle to work on getting another one for you because you’ll need it for the purpose of visa collection.

Good luck.
duro4real:
My lyf is ruin, I have appointment on Monday which is tomorrow on 26th of October, I have done all d necessary tinz expected by me, and I have gotten all d necessary documents I just just been sent invitation letter and health insurance from my uncle dat stay at Germany earlier dis week. But just now when I was going through my document I find out dat d passport number I utilize in all my travel document is my old passport number such as booking of appointment, my invitation latter on so on...... Am seriously crying right now, please what what is d way forward can I still go for d interview tomorrow?. Or what can I do?.
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Hampy: 9:16pm On Oct 22, 2015
Bro. You shouldn’t have funded your account after you were rejected. You should have just appealed and try to convince the VO and indeed the German Consulate that you have serious and genuine intentions of studying in Germany. The fact that they stated in your rejection letter that “further prerequisites for a visa approval has not been examined finally” means, in my opinion, that they have not critically considered your student visa application to its finality. The VO just decided to reject you based on reasons best known to him/her. Perhaps, you failed woefully during the interview and you were unable to convince him or her about your intentions of going to Germany and he/she figured its not necessary to continue with your student visa application You should have just appealed and try to convince them. Not go ahead and fund your account. If I am the VO, the steps you took by funding your account despite your rejection for reasons about doubts concerning your serious intention to study in Germany will seem to me as desperation on your part, which is not a good thing. But then, I am not the VO.

Just appeal right away. Convince them that you have genuine intentions of studying in Germany. And you have complied with all requirements. Try to be humble and as well assertive. You can suggest to them that, if given the chance, you will be willing and ready to come for another interview if they think you need to be physically present before the VO to answer questions bothering on your intentions to study in Germany.

Search for Eke40Seven’s post on a proper appeal. He has properly dealt with this issue and i think it will help you.

Goodluck

Hello everybody! I'm encountering some challenges with my visa application. I was given a rejection letter a day after my visa interview, with the following reasons stated: "They are doubts concerning your serious intention to study and the reason for trip, further prerequisites for a visa approval has not been examined finally". Though I assumed it was because I had not yet funded the DB account, but I was finally able to fund the account. I contacted the embassy showing them that the account has been funded, but since then I have gotten no reply from them. Has anyone encountered this challenge? If yes, can you help me out? I'm so confused! Thank you.
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Hampy: 3:29pm On Oct 22, 2015
Well, I would not advise you to carry out the transaction via the WU output transfer. The mere fact that the lady who gave Dolpaz the tip could not refer him to a single bank means she’s doesn’t want to be liable for anything if something goes wrong along the line. I know what I’m saying. Little wonder why nobody on this thread hadn’t mentioned or even suggested it.

You can try Union bank as suggested by Dolpaz, or try Access bank. Just like he said, the CBN gives utmost priority to students' fees and/or payments necessary to facilitate your study abroad (And the 8040 Euros required by the German Consulate falls under that category). But you need to provide adequate documentation.

I would also not advise you to fund through just anybody in Germany. You said you have no contact person in Germany, which is quite unfortunate. But please avoid the desperation of using just anybody. Its not even advisable to rely on anybody you meet on this thread in so far as you do not know the person personally. DON’T LET ANYBODY REFER YOU TO ANYBODY! Not even the great Eke40Seven. I say this with all sense of humility and respect.
Iamwilliam:
Hi guys, I have been an ardent follower of this thread and I must highly comment y'all.
I have quite a bit of problem. I am trying to fund my blocked account. I recently had the breakthrough in securing the funds.
The issue is I have been to Sterling bank, daleko branch as admonished by a lot of people on the thread, as well as Fidelity bank, but for reasons of lack of Euros and one bureaucratic issue all. I couldn't facilitate the transfer.
The main issue is my enrollment deadline is 30th October and that is the lastest extension I could get from the school.
Funding the account is the only thing delaying my visa issuance as it stands.
I need urgent assistance on how I can fund my account ASAP in order to get a visa approval and beat the deadline next week.
Kindly render any form of assistance/advise.
I am looking @ the possiblity of funding from there in Germany but I 've got no contact person.
Thanks
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Hampy: 9:18am On Oct 22, 2015
Bro. Your school had already extended to 30/12/15 and your Interview date is 29/10/15 which leaves a period of about 8 weeks (give or take) for your visa processing. This, as far as I’m concerned, is good news so you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

As for your fears - I don’t think you have to be a legal resident of Nigeria before you can apply for a German student visa from Nigeria (I stand to be corrected). Nevertheless, your situation is different. You would have applied from your home country if the German Consulate there had given you an appointment. I think the German Consulate here in Nigeria understands your situation and that’s why you are lucky to be given an interview date. I will advise you to go and prepare for your interview. All will be well

Goodluck.
ttryan237:
Greetings to all! I am just a few weeks old on this thread and have tried to read through as much as I can; i have seen how you try to help one another in your own way, reason why i have decided to table this issue.

Actually, I am a Cameroonian resident in Cameroon. Have tried booking appointment for student visa application here in my country for over four months now to no avail - seems I'm always a minute too late on the online appointment booking system.

A few weeks ago, I tried the consulate in Lagos with my documents. This is the email i sent:

"Good day Sir,
I wish to book an appointment to apply for a student visa at the German Consulate General in Lagos, Nigeria.
I am a Cameroonian and for the past 4 months, I have been making several attempts to book an appointment at the German Consulate in Yaoundé, Cameroon to no avail. The online appointment portal keeps displaying the following message: "Unfortunately, there are no appointments available at this time. New appointments will be made available for booking at regular intervals". I have also written several emails to the Consulate in Yaoundé with no positive results. I will be willing to travel to Lagos if I am given this opportunity.
Attached to this email is my official affidavit of support, admission letter and passport.
Thank you in advance for your attention to these materials. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely"

Next day this reply dropped:

"Dear Sir/Madam,
thank you for your email.
Hereby we would like to inform you that due to the high demand on student visa appointments a next student appointment will be allocated for 29.10.2015 and visa processing time takes 6 weeks after interview. We need the consent from the Aliens Authority at your future place of residence in Germany in order to issue a student visa for you and can therefore not speed up the visa process deliberately.
We are sorry but we cannot give you an earlier date since we are fully booked.
I would therefore advise you to contact your university and see if it is possible to get an enrollment extension letter or defer your admission to the upcoming summer semester 2016 so you have sufficient time to apply for your visa in your country.
We regret not to have a better news for you and only advise you to apply for visa appointment 3 month before your enrollment starts.
Thank you for comprehension."

I then contacted the international office in my school - they don't defer admissions, and I had already paid the semester fee as it was a condition for accepting the offer of admission.
They sent me a new admission letter with an extended enrollment period (up to 30th December) which I sent to the consulate in Lagos. I didn't get any reply in a while until after I had sent up to 3 emails on the same subject. I then received the appointment mail from noreply@diplo.de

At this point, I have some fears. I will be traveling to Lagos for the appointment but I'm not a legal resident in Nigeria. I hear it's a requirement if you're applying for visa out of your home country. I'm really worried. guys abeg una help Cameroonian brother

Berlin. I booked already, (with faith) as visa never commit. I chose to pay via Access Bank account also so na till Monday we go know. Berlin is like 4 hours away from Frankfurt, but considering the cost of flight its still very reasonable to take advantage of the opportunity.

Where you going to?
Its for flights to Frankfurt.
You can always board Berlin bus to your destination if its close by.

@ Uchezdedon You may be right though but I don't think so yet because a friend just booked now and chose to pay via Zenith bank account. Well let's see how it goes by Monday

TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Hampy: 7:49pm On Oct 07, 2015
Congratulations bro. Go to Deutschland and succeed!
Eke40seven:
LOL..Make una no vex, my silenece was as a result of a couple of things beyond my control. One of the fact being that, for the very first time, I didn't really know what to scribble down and how or names to leave out.
On Monday, I took the print out proof of AOK insurance and international passport, as I went to hand over an insurance documents to a very dear friend for her own collection. By faith, I said by force by fire, as I'm going to the embassy, I wasn't just gonna become a channel again, the time for me to go is now! I had everything that morning for collection, but for the print out of the a.m matter mail from the embassy. It was past 9 but I was going no where until I get it I said to myself, I called my alien office and the response was positive. Lo and behold! Just like in a dream, an hour later the mail dropped like hot pap. Right inside the car park beside the embassy, where I was humming to Big Sean's song "Blessings"..."I'm way up, I feel blessed,...I'm way up, I feel blessed...." then the people around me wondered why my voice changed from a Michael Jacksin's falsetto to a Barry White's baritone but they won't understand that ended is a 2 year struggle, a moment that will turn around the fortunes of the bad crooner standing before them.
The journey was arduous, filled with streaks of disappointment from both family and friends (those times were the very lows) but in all victory was assured. Giving up was never an option, I didn't have time to complain, calmness and a strong faith was all I had. However, this wouldn't be possible without all your prayers here. For long I had a virtual family that sometimes translated to a physical one. Mentioning names is the hard part, but at decisive moments in the journey, Apart from family some people had done beyond encouraging words and prayers in their intervention. Swtxt, crowns, Vivian, grin, (who remembered her?) Seunstein and his friend, kennyoguns009, Phucado, oga Goldhorse, Dolpaz, panzi (brother and ghost follower), Obiwannn -one of my DB heroes, My Naija German people, (you guys are the best). For many who will call, send messages, do their prayers in their secret places, I more than appreciate your efforts. We have been so close I don't even remember your monikers.
Guys still awaiting their mails, please, never give up, I started the big dream with less than 100k in my account, a phone & PC for research purposes and a will of steel. Family said no for so long, it was hard but I journeyed despite that to embrace my destiny even after one failure, quitting was not an option. If I can do it, then you can absolutely do it.
For the newbies, I will DEFINITELY, be here whenever the need arises just as always. This time around, with more experience.
I can finally say to myself, "Eke40seven, Congratulations!.... Go to Deutschland and SUCCEED!".

Thanks boss. I appreciate all your efforts. It will end in praise. I'm positive.
Eke40seven:
Hello! I know how you feel....this process can frustrate, confuse, intimidate, whatever you wanna call it. Then after your interview, your heart will race from one suspicion of failure to the other. However, you see, they are just doing their job, I think I have been meted far worse treatments by our own government organizations. Just relax bro. I knew your message was misinterpreted given that the person reading your message then may not be so good with the language. I knew you would get off the hook easily.
You just have to be calm and try prayers instead. I'm in my 15th week today from the day of my interview, I booked for my interview may 1st or thereabout and initiated my payment in the first week of September. You see you are not in the worst situation.

Everything will end a success, let that be your faith, the complaints can come later after the goals of your application is achieved.

Baba you ve nt handle this situation well....I tell you something, Sometimes we re faced with tough situations as young pple...our approach to things at that moment becomes the deciding factor.

I really dont know if things have changed but during my time you have to get to the embassy early..even if your interview is scheduled for 8am because you ve to been cleared and your documents checked..so you have to be there by7am or so, some persons get there by 5am man so you ve no case, by 7:45 you were late already so dont even go there claiming any right.

This thread has recorded abt 90% success rate ..Germany student visa is as easy as a,b,c ..get admitted, fund accoun,t go for interview, swallow some chill pills (waiting period) and boom visa ..If truely you wrote a letter to the UNHRC immediately after your interview that again is a no brainer bro..is this crack gettin to me or I find your story funny huh..Like srxly you wrote a letter to the UNHCR,the Nigerian National assembly to complain poor treatment in a consulate for lateness abi dem nor gv u chair to sitdown..I guess your interviewer was nt sitting down too if you had to stand to do your interview...why nt politely ask for a seat there and then like pls can I get a sit or something...I m nt comfortable pls I need to sit my ass down ..you didnt..you went home to write a letter to UNHCR shocked..so when next you decide to write a letter complain abt hw our education sector is in rot hence the need for the exodus.

You see Eke07..that guy there advising you, I ve great respect for him you know why? is the way he keep his cool,IF i remember correctly last yr something went wrong with his sponsorship letter at the 11th hr..he didnt budge..he kept his cool and was encourgaing others..this year he has done his interview for over 2 mths and even when he had issues with his blocked account he kept his cool and till date he is still encouraging others ...thats the spirit of a successor..you dont achieve great things by playin the victims card..NEVER!

I hope your visa is granted in due time my broda but do us all some good by leaving some of these ***** at M.M intl airport in lagos..

all the best Man

Bros nawa o. To say someone is ranting is kind of derogatory, you know? Let’s try to respect ourselves on here even though we are on a faceless forum. At least if the Germans at the embassy don’t respect us, we should respect ourselves. I wouldn’t say that to you, no matter what.

Well, I am not complaining to anybody on here. I was just expressing my feelings. I have channeled my complaints to the proper avenue. After my interview, i wrote a letter to the SGF, The Senate, The House of Rep and the NHRC to look into the ways Nigerians are being treated at the German embassy, and i cited my own experience as a reference. It started from the very beginning - I applied for my student visa interview on July 16th, 2015, and my interview was fixed for August 31st, 2015. That’s 6 weeks interval! Even when my October 1st, 2015 resumption date is clearly written on my admission letters and official letter of acceptance that i used to apply for the said interview. So the period left between my interview date and my resumption date is just 4 weeks. How would you feel about that? Or how would you feel about arriving at the embassy at 7:45am for your 8 O’ clock interview and the man at the gate tells you that you are late! That you ought to have arrived 30 minutes earlier. C’mon, my interview is 8 O’clock, not 7:30. And people around you tells you to beg the man, a Nigerian like you, a Nigerian who should understand the traffic situation in Lagos. Now you get into the embassy and you are made to stand for over 30 minutes while the interviewer sits her ass down. How would you feel about all that? Considering the fact that you are the reason why the interview is being conducted and you are the one who paid for the interview. Did i mention that you only speak with your interviewer through the telecoms, via a glass wall, like you are plagued with some disease or something, and now look at what is happening? The issue of resumption date blah blah - If i had been given a nearer date for my interview will this be happening? Certainly not.

Bro. I am not just ranting. And I am not complaining to anybody on here. And I am not asking to be treated preferentially as Cindino20 said. I am only asking to be treated right. Which is not too much to ask. He made a fuss about my 9000Euros tuition fee, like that is the issue here. Well, the 9000 Euros will be sitting in my bank account if i had gotten a University in Germany who can offer my course for free, and i would have been glad. In the US my course costs over 40,000usd, so you see in a way, i have also benefited from the Germany Educational Policy. And I will be forever grateful.

I hope the Government do something about my complaints… If they do, then people coming behind us will be treated fairly enough and I will be glad wherever I am. It has happened several times before. It can happen again. When the UK embassy introduced the 3,000 GBP Deposit before you are granted visiting visa, we kicked against it, and the Government acted upon it and the UK Embassy dropped the idea for Nigerians. They also introduced the policy for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and some other countries that i can remember now. I don’t know how they solved their own problem.

We don’t just sit down, fold our hands and watch. We put our feet down and take action. Have you ever asked yourself why we live in this mess? I have, severally…. and the answer that keeps coming to my mind is that had our parents, the generations before us, done things differently, we wouldn’t be treated like this, we wouldn’t be living like this. So if we do things differently now, and frown at any ill treatment meted on us by anyone, then the next generation wouldn’t suffer what we are suffering.

Ah, and by the way, the embassy sent me another email this morning saying that I will be contacted by them within the next few days. Which was quite different from their last email that I should come to the embassy with my passport. So I’m just going to wait this out and see how it ends. Or what do you think? Please house, i need all of your input here.
Obiwannn:
Unfortunately, I support you on this even though he has a kind of point. And his ranting here wouldn't solve anything..I would be very glad if he can summon up the courage and say or send via email all the stuff he posted here... Though in a way, the Germans are kinda lenient. It says 6 to 8 weeks on the website yet they grant some visas in less than two weeks. Most countries won't even grant visa or listen to any inquiry you send until the expiration of this period. Who are we to blame for them favouring one and not favouring another?
Well it is a well known fact that most embassies in Nigeria treat Nigerians as shit, meanwhile when you visit the same country's embassy in another country, they treat you with respect. Moral of the Story is that, once you can just first leave the country, things will become very easy for you.

PS: I wonder why our Government are just being quiet about the ill treatment meted upon its citizens by these aliens. Well I guess they be like, who send them? Where are they going? Won't they sit back and continue suffering?
Chai.. I miss Abacha.
