HealthRe: Itching After Bathing - I Need Help... by handbagss(f): 4:49pm On Aug 13, 2017
Mbkite:
Doctors and all concerned nairalanders, I really need to know if there is any treatment for itching especially after morning bath. I have used up all means known to me including, bathing hot water, applying aboniki after bath, etc. I brought this to nairaland believing to get a lasting solution. Thank you my good people.
mine was terrible, I cried most times...it was that bad. went for skin test, doctor saw nothing. well, I stopped using sponge and the itch stopped too.
I think you should stop using sponge too or you use sponge only at night.

FamilyRe: Help! I Am Going Back To Nigeria To Find A Wife! by handbagss(f): 7:49pm On Oct 04, 2016
ibx1976:
My good people I am in a bit of a situation here and would like to hear from the community. I have lived the last few years in the UK and can say I am in a reasonably "settled" place in my life except for one thing: I don't have a wife and I am getting old!.

For the last few years, going by people's advice I thought it was best to cultivate a relationship here with someone here in the UK, learn about them and settle.

It has not worked out for me. Maybe its my luck, it has not quite worked with me with the ladies over here. I always end up with someone diametrically opposite to my goals and aspirations. The idea of marrying an Oyibo is even worse - things just did not work out in that direction either.

To compound the problem, I my job does not allow me much of a social life. I just cant make it happen without help.

On a friend's advice, I have been invited to come back home to naija and see how things can work out. I have therefore taken a months leave and am headed home for the next 1 month. Our plan is to visit a few good families and places to see if anything can materialise from that.

My people any advice on this? If you were in my shoes, how will you conduct this affair. What will you look out for. What will you avoid.
It won't be easy...

FamilyPregnancy-induced Weirdness by handbagss(op): 4:30pm On Mar 02, 2016
People do a lot of odd things when they're in certain conditions. I've seen artists who are most creative when they're angry. A lady would end up not eating the food she prepared, the reason being that the aroma she perceived while preparing the meal had filled her up and deactivated her appetite for the sumptuous meal.
However, none of these oddities can compare to the pregnancy-induced weirdness that most pregnant women are prone to. Some ladies stick with cold foods for as long as the condition demands. A friend drank cold pap all through the period of her first pregnancy.
My pregnant sister adores the smell of soot from the quenched fire of a kerosene stove. I've once had a pregnant neighbour who regularly visited a nearby bakery to buy burnt bread!
My grandmother told me how she loved the taste of chewing stick during pregnancy. She would stick the poor wood fragment in her mouth and chew at it all day long. I imagined she would have looked pathetic with a long piece of wood poking out from her face all day long.
A friend told me about an even more pathetic case of her neighbour that regularly conveyed herself to the cabin of a pit latrine, just to inhale the thick air of fermented disgust that exhumes from that horror pit of unimaginable degrees of amassed decay.
Dem say na condition make crayfish bend... It would be fun to hear your own pregnancy experience, or your wife's, or your sister's..., the list is endless... Share a laugh.

Poor mentality.
And you think a bread seller is richer than me ??

I know she's definitely richer than you, she's busy selling her bread and making some cool money while you're going around town sucking dicks for free.
Lol. I have passed my message. Go and hang your self.
