She initially wanted to read law but due to certain issues she choose psychology, but with this Jamb score she now wants to change to LAW. She choose Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Please is it still possible and if yes please I need your suggestions on the procedures how she can go about it. Most especially in terms of o-level subject combination and cut off for law. The church remains the only organised church that has studied the future in every aspect from sciences and social areas of life. All other churches have stopped celebrating easter, whereas according to the church we are still celebrating easter, next Sunday is Accession, how many of your mushroom Pastor worshipping member churches know this??

Granted, OAU is good but according to webometrics CU is number two in Nigeria. And the picture below also shows CU, UI and UNN as the only profiled Nigerian universities. OAU is conspicuously missing.

For you to even compete with a product of OAU would be a rare privilege for you because an average OAU grad or student wouldn't stoop so low to compete with the convenant whatever you are talking about.

The only way to settle oau cert and covenant cert is to meet on a level playing field. If you study accounting in oau and I study my own in covenant, let us both do our acca or maybe cfa. If we both pass at first attempt then we can agree we are both good. If I pass and you fail or the other way around, we can also draw conclusions. The mistake people in public universities make is they believe education should be difficult. It shoudnt. Edcuatuon should be relevant. I've seen brilliant students from oau and unilorin graduate with 2:2. When we all met in the UK for masters, we all had distinction . Does that mean unilorin is better than Warwick ? Education is all about relevance not difficulty and only way you can judge is when graduates from both schools meet on a level playing ground

Furthermore, OAU has been churning out graduates for decades so they have a richer and higher pool alumni hence the perception people have. Give Babcock and covenant graduates more time . Babcock gradauted it's first set in 2003..that's just 14 years ago. Give us 6 years more then you will know how far. Even some organizations specify Babcock and covenant gradautes . So this oba awon university crap won't last much longer. Past glory will soon end.

Private Universities are meant for the rich and only those that can afford it, it's also meant for the lazy rich kids who couldn't pass simple jamb or post UTME.
Even at that we still have the rich coming to Federal Universities to study because they know it's worth. Using OAU as an example ; I know many Govtt officials even law makers who come to the school to get one degree or the other. Infact we have rich parents who still send their kids to these Federal schools cos they know it's worth.
I can't imagine myself leaving OAU cert for one convenant cert when am not mad. Even in the aspect of ICT Internet access has been made so easy these days so u don't have to wait for your school to give you a laptop and free WiFi before you'll do your research. Private schools are comfortable no doubt but in terms of research and academic aspects please don't go there.

Kalu denies Facebook account used to dupe businessman

Foremost businessman and former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has denied ownership of a Facebook account allegedly used to swindle a businessman, Alhaji Ibrahim Oleka.

In a statement issued by the former governor and signed by his Special Assistant, Mr. Peter Eze, he had no link with thw contentions account allegedly used to defraud the victim.

He added that apart from the fact that he had left government service since 2007, he had not also engaged in business discussion on Facebook.

According to the statement, Kalu explained that he was aware that fraudsters had opened more than 20 Facebook accounts in his name to defraud unsuspecting people.

The statement reads: “It was also brought to our notice that some hackers opened 20 different accounts of Facebook in Orji Uzor Kalu’s name and was using the various accounts for fraudulent activities and to dupe unsuspecting innocent Nigerians.

“The latest to our notice is one Alhaji Ibrahim Oleka who laid complaints of being duped a large sum of money for a government contract as discussed through a Facebook account bearing Orji Uzor Kalu.

“We wish to state that Dr Orji Uzor Kalu has not been in active government service since 2007 and has not had anything to do with issuing government contract.

Kalu has only one Facebook account, which he uses to operate social activities and not business.”

Dr. Kalu said he had made personal report to the management of Facebook but fake accounts had continued to prop up in his name.

“We therefore urge the public to be wary of such fake accounts and beware of falling for a victim.”
