Europe, USA, Australia and some Asian countries where gay relationship is legal, are they in bad light? If you are given a visa to the US or Canada, I am pretty sure you would do a thanksgiving in your church, forgetting that those countries are gay friendly. Even SA which is the power engine of the African continent legalised gay marriage, and the country still prospers till today. Many Nigerians flock the SA visa center at Lekki on daily basis, toiling and soiling and queuing under the sun to get a visa. They all disregard the fact that SA is a gay country.

Nigerians like you are the reason why that country is so backward today. You leave what is relevant unattended and start chasing irrelevant stuff like what consenting adults do in their private lives!

And to cap it all, your hypocrisy has no rivalry on this planet. You claim to be the most religious people with churches and mosques on almost all streets, yet your country is one of the most corrupt, most backward, most underdeveloped in the world.

I am sure by the time you have the opportunity to see the world, you will realize that you Nigerian lot have been living in darkness and squalor all this while. No sane country wants to relate with Nigeria. They see you as unscrupulous scum of the earth. What other 'bad light' is more than that?

I was reading this your article with delight not until I got to the Catholic part. I don't understand why you can't complete this your article without making reference to the Catholic Church?? Where and when have you seen or heard where the Catholic Church approved Gay/lesbianism.

Infact as ignorant as you are you didn't even mention the Anglican church that even approved of it .
