You know, a keeper gets better as they get older. Iker is not just any keeper, he's really good.
As per the young guys, they had better find a way to break out into mainstream, or else they won't ever be seen. Bojan has his chances, and I think Barcelona has been fair to him, Fabregas will soon become more important to the NT, and might even join either Madrid or Barca. Canales might want to consider a switch like Negredo's, Madrid's bench is packed right now and he may not get many chances. I think Soldado is never going to be right up there, same as Llorente. LLorente also might end up moving to Madrid; more opportunities to score more goals, more visibility on the world stage . . . only a matter of time.

The case of the keepers are very different. Remember Zubi dominated Spain between the posts for many years, even after he was done at Barca. A keeper with lots of experience like Iker can't just give way like that.
