Congratulations to we that have birthed our LOs, safe and easy delivery to remaining waddling mamas.
Mamas, please would you agree to me getting gripe water for my baby of 3weeks. He cries at night cos of stomach pains. He grunts wen he wants to fart or poo. I was advised to get it but I need your opinions. Thanks.

I got up around 6:00am to pee and saw trickle of blood and just wiped it. I had already been having yellow watery discharge since 13th July. I quickly ran to the bathroom to shower, then washed my clothes, arranged the room before any drama starts. I then set out for road walk but decided against it and went to use the ATM.
I got to the clinic around 8:00am and told the matron what I saw earlier. Immediately she asked for my name and I told her, she just pointed to the table and I saw my file there. She said she was about calling me. Long story short, she told me to call hubby.
Hubby came and she explained I needed to be induced cos I wasn't falling into labour and the baby is overdue. He consented and I was given food.
The drip was fixed and the bitter-sweet journey of birthing my LO began. I sang all manner of songs (the ones sang by a musician and the ones I composed myself), labour really brought out the singing talent in me (LOL). I was checked regularly to know if I was progressing. Even if they didn't come, I'll call them to come and check, I lost my home training and shyness sharply. Later another drip was fixed.
Around 6:21pm, hubby came in to the delivery room for motivation, we talked, laughed and prayed. Calls were flowing from almost everyone, hubby just told them I was sleeping. By some minutes past 7, contractions were hitting back to back and I was prepared for delivery. Baby was crowning but wasn't coming forth, one of the midwives got on top of me and started pressing my tummy. Later they informed hubby I'll need an episiotomy, else the baby could tear me anyhow. Hubby consented and it was done. I lost count of the number of pushes but I finally had my prince by 8:12pm with hubby on stand by.
Baby was cleaned, weighed and given to hubby. I was filled with love even though I hadn't seen his face, I knew he was going to be the most handsome creature I've ever seen. Stitches were done and I was cleaned up, then transferred to the ward. I was discharged the following morning.
TBH, while on the delivery bed, I thought I'll never be able to intentionally go through pregnancy and labour ever again. But mamas, immediately I birthed my LO, my thinking changed again, I'll do it over again for me to have sweet angels.

Good morning my sabi mamas, nobody told me d vigilante is like dis... I'm 11days postpartum, I dared to look down below last night with a mirror and wasn't really pleased with what I saw. I've been extra careful not to open my stitch but alas, I think what I saw is an open wound and the midwife already told me it can't be re-stitched if it opens. Please, come to my aid with suggestions on how to care for the episiotomy site.

To the glory of God, I had my bouncing baby boy with a minor tear on 18th July 2020 at exactly 8:12pm after passing all EDDs (23rd June,3rd July,6th July,11th July and 13th July)

Thanks to all that responded to my earlier concern. I'm just coming back from the clinic, I was told to go and do scan and it gave me today as EDD, contrary to my 11th July according to LMP. I was advised to come back once I feel any slight pain since my house is just 5mins walk to the clinic.
Instead of this boy to come, he's busy dancing up and down in my tummy...

Hello teamies, am so so happy to d extent dat sleep has refuse to come, we r finally in the month of July, I know most of us has bn waiting for dis day, it is finally here. How r u all doing? My partners in the porting ministry God has a better plan for us, he knows the best time for our baby, remember man proposes but God.......?(finish am for ur mind )

Hello mamas, lastweek I did scan and measured 36weeks (2.9 kg) even though I was supposed to be 34weeks according to LMP. This has affected my EDD. Is the measurement and weight something I should be concerned about?

Next step is blending. Start with 2 letters and move on from it. Do diagraphs too. And sight words.

I'm a Primary 3 teacher, how do I help my pupils to read. The problem is a foundational problem. I have tried the Jolly phonics with them, now they know the sounds but can't use it when spelling.
