GOV WIKE CONFERS GRAND SERVICE STAR OF RIVERS STATE (GSSRS) HONOUR ON GOV YAHAYA BELLO

The Rivers State Governor, His Excellency (Barr) Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has conferred the Rivers State Honour ( GRAND SERVICE STAR OF RIVERS STATE, GSSRS) on the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Yahaya Bello.

In a letter dated 13th September, 2022, referenced RVSG/GH/SHA/Vol. 1/021 and signed by the Governor of Rivers State, Governor Yahaya Bello is to be decorated with the honour on Saturday, 3rd of December at the Banquet Hall, Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt.

Accepting the honour of GRAND SERVICE STAR OF RIVERS STATE (GSSRS) , Governor Bello said he was delighted to be honoured by the Government and People of Rivers State stating that such recognition was a demonstration of Nigeria’s unity across regions and tribes.

"I am happy to accept the state honour of GRAND SERVICE STAR OF RIVERS STATE (GSSRS) which Your Excellency and the people of Rivers State have so generously and gratuitously seen fit to confer on me", the governor said.

Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, has issued a grave warning to any bandits who may be planning to cause mayhem in the state.

While inspecting a project last week in the state's Okehi local government, Governor Bello, who is known for having zero tolerance for insecurity and is one of the top governors in the fight against terrorism, issued the strong warning to intended criminals.

Bello, who addressed the crowd in his own tongue, stressed that his administration will not tolerate misconduct or criminal activity going forward and that any effort to undermine the state's current state of peace would be met with resistance.

Mischievous media outlets and tweeps have mostly misinterpreted and mocked the governor's statement.

Since the state's founding more than three decades ago, Bello's administration is credited as being the best. The new direction government has received praise for its efforts to address insecurity, build a sizable infrastructure, inclusion of women and young people in governance, and improve education system in the state.

Yahaya Bello is the best thing that has happened to Education in Kogi State since inception as all Kogi tertiary institutions secure 100% accreditation.

Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obangede also received full accreditation of all programmes and was even granted biannual admission privileges by the regulators.

And now, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja under the leadership of the inimitable Dr. Usman Ogbo secures 100% accreditation of course.

All of these institutions have one common factor - His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

I am from Kogi State and I can tell you that Yahaya Bello is a very bad "RULER". Anytime you want to talk about Yahaya Bello as a leader and the citizens, just imagine a womaniser toasting a girl. The girl are Nigerians while the guy is Bello. Everything is packaging. My favourite candidates in APC are Osinbajo and Amaechi but Tinubu anyday, anytime over GYB, twice on a Wednesday!

No doubt he's a good strategiser, and more dangerous than Tinubu. We should never allow someone like that near the corridor of power.

Most Kogites dislike Bello (except his errand boys) because he doesn't pay salaries, more or less a dictator and few projects to his name( though he did built a hospital and a bridge). His overall performance on a scale of 10 is 3.

He is actually one of the least performing governors in Nigeria today. Don't take my words for it. If you think I'm not being truthful, take a trip to 5 Kogi local governments and do check things out yourself. A Yahaya Bello Nigeria will be the worst thing to ever happen to us.
