Jobs/VacanciesRe: 22 Years: The Age Requirement For A Job I Stumbled Upon Online Today (pic) by Happyfellow147: 6:21am On May 05, 2017
Please sir, I studied Accounting in school, currently applied for Msc in Accounting too and in the last stage of my Ican exams. I want to know what IT skills I can learn too. I'm currently in Enugu Thanks
Fela40:
The question is how many graduates are proficient with MOS (Microsoft office suites)??

You might think it is the normal Microsoft Excel and Word... hahahaha...

I am working for an IT firm, and all our job vacancies have not yet been filled up!!

reason is there are no professionals to fill them up!!

Learn ICT and get a job Asap!!

Incase you want to know more. A company like IIHT (Indian Institute of hardware Technology) does Seminars on various IT courses every Wednesday. Please attend and they will lecture you for FREE on all you need to know!!

I studied there so I can boldly tell you all about them!!

From an Ex student!!

CareerRe: Why Do People Quit Their Jobs At Dream/big Companies? by Happyfellow147: 7:42am On Mar 25, 2017
Please sir, can you assist me to get a better job in a medium sized company? The place I'm working now is quite small with limited resources and may not favour speedy career growth. I need a more challenging environment. I studied Accounting.
ItuExchange:
Why do people quit their jobs at dream companies like Facebook or Google?

I can only speak for my own decision to leave Google in 2010. It's a great company full of amazingly talented people with access to incredible resources.

So why leave? Google was simply too big for me. I'd come from Endeca, a startup that I helped grow from a founding team to 500, and I didn't realize how different it would be to join a large company where the connection was inherently less personal. It simply wasn't a good fit for me.

I left Google after a year to join LinkedIn -- then a 700-person company -- and my role there was much more expansive and more personal. In my 4.5 years there I worked with groups across the company, getting involved any effort where I could productively contribute. It was awesome!

But growth happens. By the time LinkedIn reached 7000 people it wasn't the same company for me. I was ready for something small again -- and something far more personal.

So I joined a health care company as CTO in May 2015, with the goal of helping improve the lives of millions of people. It turned out that wasn't my dream job either. So now I'm taking a break from full-time work, doing an assortment of advising, consulting, speaking, and writing.

In short, there's no such thing as a dream company. It's up to us to dream, and to find the opportunities that align with those dreams. Good luck finding yours!

I just went to stanbic ibtc in my area now. The customer service representative said the next auction is 5th April. She said I should come on 3rd or 4th that I'd be given a form to fill but since this is my first time, I want the gurus here to guide me. How would I know the forms I'd be given is the authentic one because we have heard of some dubious bank staff defrauding customers. I don't want to fall victim please.

Visit this web page for a template:
http://nairametrics.com/sample-letter-of-application-to-purchase-treasury-bills/

Remember to specify that you only want to purchase from the primary market.

However, I think stanbic and gtb will give you a form to fill in lieu of a written instruction but I'm not sure about that.

Thank you so much
40manlappy:
It is no rocket science.

Simply reactivate your account with them and indicate your desire to invest in Tbills.

They should give you two forms: "custodial agreement" and "tender for TBills". All you need in addition these forms is a simple letter requesting to bid at the primary auction stating your preferred tenor (91, 182 or 364 days), account name and account number and authorizing them to debit your account. You may indicate your desire to go with their bid rate or state your preferred bid rate.

It is very simple! smiley

Please what does a letter of instruction look like and who prepares it? I tried with fidelity securities but they said the minimum is 1m.Now I have just 100k to invest and want to do it as soon as practicable. However, I have my nysc account with stanbic ibtc but I don't want to walk in there like someone with no experience (which sadly is the true position)I want to go in there and make them treat my matter without mistakes just like some people on this thread. I need suggestions please. The account with stanbic has been dormant for more than one year now.

tundebabzy:
I have and it went well. My first try years ago, they told me I'd have to have a minimum of 1m. I didn't investigate further and abandoned my plans to buy. After going through this thread this year, I first sent an email to their customer care and they replied that the minimum is 100k. Armed with that information, I walk into any branch armed with my instruction letter. I go straight to the customer care section and ask whoever is there to process it for me. No questions asked! Since you already know how things work, just take your instruction letter to them. Make sure you specify in your instruction, maybe underline it for emphasis, that you only want to purchase from the primary market. #shikena
FamilyRe: A Thread For 2017 Brides And Grooms To Be by Happyfellow147: 2:41pm On Feb 10, 2017
Ok thanks for the insight. More help on materials. Brides who have bought theirs should please help out based on trendy but affordable materials
Caracta:
Who brings the ring to the pastor/priest/MC when it is needed? Except the groom agrees to have it in his pocket and present it himself. Some people do that too. It all depends on you. It's your wedding...your style.

My initial plan was even to use an adult (my wedding: my style) as a ring bearer cheesy but the supposed ring bearer won't be available so I have to use my little nephew of 3 years.
