Hello everyone,

I applied to different schools in the UK and received a conditional offer from University of Hertfordshire yesterday.
I'd like to know what next as I'm hoping to hear from the other schools.

Also I just realized university of Hertfordshire has changed their instalment plan from three to two and increased deposit from 25% to 65% for international students

I'd love to know other schools that accept up to 7 installments like Teeside
The flexibility of the payment would really help me take a decision.

Please help

WIDD
Early 2021,with d money we had,I wanted an IVF, DH wanted migration. He won.I was so angry.i felt like he lost hope already.we obtained visa.I didn't follow him, I just wanted to escape from the back to back sex, prep my body again n have a backup plan( in case).People said all sorts, but I didn't even care as I was tired of sex with no result n everything. As soon as he left,

1. Started with the ginger, garlic combo, drank that on Mondays to Thursdays for up to 5 weeks
2. chewed Alligator pepper and ginger. 3days on, 2days off, for like 3 weeks. That combo isn't for the faint hearted. The hotness is out of this world. I took that cos I read some testimonies on TTC thread that it cleared their cysts.( I developed cysts while using all those ovulation drugs ). I didn't do test to confirm if it worked, but I felt lighter n less pain in my lower abdomen .
3. Introduced fertility massage( leg, foot and pelvic area) , I wasn't consistent tho ,this I continue for several months.
4. Drank water like punishment esp from midnight till early morning. Included fruits in my daily diet.
5. After stopping garlic ginger combo, I started with the water leaf therapy, every other day for months.just squeeze n drink.later the thing sef they taste like ribena to me( I believe this water leaf is a miracle)
6. While on the waterleaf, I Started vitamins E,b6 bco, Folic,C, ,vitex, ovacare everyday. I stopped d vitex after some days.  Wanted to use to Lenghtn my lutheal phase but the taste was disgusting.
7.Then like 3 months before BFP, I sticked to Ovaboost, b6,and ovacare.
All these prep took 6 months, before joining Dh. When I joined him, I started
8. Gorontula( I heard it s a sex sweetner n wetner, so I was like let me wound this man with sex). At times I will chew, other times, I will soak overnight and drink d slimy water.Well DH testifies my game was hotter sha.
9. Fallodox...fertility supplement, great reviews, bought it from amazon. I research tru all the active ingredients and saw it was worth trying.i started Cd1
9. Started kpekusing from CD2,i usually start from CD6-8before, but I sha wanted to try different things
9.fasting n prayer, Joined halleluyah challenge, carried my bump in faith n praises.
With all these, I was already in contact with someone who can help me with reduced cost ivf.
10. I waited n waited for menses to start at cd25. Waited for like a week to test and VOOM my miracle happened.
Sisters hang on.Your joy is coming this year.

Hello Ma'am
It seems you are speaking to me
I have regular periods, no breast discharge as well.
My test numbers always tilt to the upper range even though the doctor said it's OK.
My previous doctor said I don't ovulate regularly and I want to support myself with natural teas

I'm researching online but I'm also open to suggestions here.
Saw black cohosh online and chaste berry
Has anyone used same?
Was there any improvement?
Where can I get them please
miracletoday:
I am sorry, I m just seeing this. It is on the other TTC thread.pls kindly check.I was preparing for my first ivf.
I v had diiferent combinations for ovulation Inductions and implantation .most times multiple eggs will develop, but wont mature, or will mature n won't rupture even with injection.or just no BFP,or faint lines of BFP today and after some days, the lines will go off. So I knew I may have egg issues and/Implantation issues .
Previously I had hormonal balance issues.eg high prolactin attimes,up to 300miu+,pls note no breast discharge, cycle was super regular. I was on dostinex for like 2yrs tho not consistent.d decrease was gradual, but I know it was working.
Other hormonal parameters were OK but on the minimum edge of the range. For IUI, my values were not seen as a problem.
Summary, i took a break from all these drugs n injections.Started with natural remedies. Then went ahead to get mild drugs for just egg booster n implantation

Good people, how does traveling to other countries as a student help with one's immigration status?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by Happyfellow147: 11:44am On Nov 30, 2021
Sabi people help me out o

I understand that after studies, one has two years to look for and get a job that would sponsor his stay.
1. What other options are there should this not be possible
2. Also, since I'd be traveling with my husband and I learnt Accounting jobs are everywhere, I'm thinking he should do the studies, while I work. But I don't know how this would span out in the end because I don't know if law would pay us better than Accounting
3. If 2 holds, can I do part time studies as a dependent?

I'm not sure 8 months program qualifies you for a pgwp
I'd make enquiries though
stephoye:
Try GCU for January 2023 intake. Master's degree in Accounting, Finance and Regulations. Tuition fee is £6750 with scholarship of £800. The net Tuition fee is thus £5950. It is 8 months course and designed for qualified Accountants like ICAN and at least 3 years cognate working experience. GCU is Glasgow Caledonian University

Please can anyone suggest what kind of job my husband can do when we move over to the UK?
He's a lawyer here and also works as an editor for some magazines. I'd be the one schooling and would be depending on him for the tuition

Also, have admissions for September 2022 opened? I'm looking for an affordable school for msc business analytics with placement. Can anyone suggest?
I have Bsc Accountancy and a chartered accountant.

Lagbenjo:
Follicular tracking is the tracking of follicles ( egg) from small to maturation and ovulation . It is used to determine if a woman is ovulating and also check some underlying conditions like fibriod , cyst , endometriosis etc.
It could be done transabdominal or transvaginal . The best is transvaginal. It sees the follicles clearly. The doctor will ask you to start tracking, starting from day 10 of your cycle. Some start day 12 depending on your cycle length. The doctor will track 3 or 4 times till ovulation is confirmed . It may not everyday tracking. Mine was at 2 days intervals after the first scan
HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Happyfellow147: 9:40am On Nov 16, 2021
Good morning mothers
Can someone help explain further to me what follicular tracking is about?
I understand one needs to go to a lab and it take a scan but how many times does one need to track in one month and are there specific days to monitor?

Also is there anything one can do to increase follicle size should one track early and discover that follicles are small?

HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Happyfellow147: 4:44pm On Nov 12, 2021
Good evening Sabi people

As a few people have stated here, most doctors are not empathetic.
They don't take any time to discuss your results and the options available to you.
I have such experience in two different places now
The last one broke my heart. We started with him last year October and I'm very uncomfortable with his methods. We decided to use a new doctor now.
In fact, I'm seeing Dr Ese from Instagram (the peoples doctor)
I'm praying that I'd achieve my desire with her so I wouldn't have cause to be running around.

My advice is that if you are not sure what your doctor is doing, please feel free to seek other options
It's your body, money and time, not even including the emotional investment

I wish all of us babies in our hands by this time next year in Jesus name.

TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by Happyfellow147: 8:16pm On Sep 03, 2021
Thank you
It's the immigration officers pointing out the miss and mrs thing o
Also the online form only has miss or mrs as options in the title area.
If I choose Miss, it's misleading because that's not my current status (in case of any future need)
Oggg:
Put it this way.
Eg your father’s surname is Elechi
Your husband’s surname is Madu
You are either Miss Elechi or Mrs. Madu
You are not Mrs. Elechi as that is your father’s name.
If there’s anything you dnt want to face is stress of Nigerian change and change.
There is absolutely no haste in changing your name but if you insist on keeping your maiden name, the right thin is Miss.. the maiden name and not Mrs. Maiden name
It is very incorrect.
As for your application later, there is no where on the intl passport that will be printed that will state miss or mrs
Also lots of married women still have their maiden names on their documents and are recognized as married. The Western world does not enforce or force uou to change your name so I wonder why you feel your status as married will not be recognized except you change your prefix.
The single/married thing filled on the immigration portal does not come up anywhere on the data page of your ppt.

Attach your marriage certificate and other proofs of genuine relationship between you and your husband to your dependent application, that is admissible evidence and not the date of international passport or prefix or married or single or mrs on intl ppt form.
TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by Happyfellow147: 2:39pm On Sep 02, 2021
Thank you very much
I understand exactly what you mean because I was almost thrown off balance yesterday. Thank God I told them to pause.
Here in Port Harcourt, the immigration officers are not DIY friendly and they kept on referring to it yesterday.

I don't have the time and energy to do the Nimc change of name and all presently.
If I do that, it means I'd also apply for a fresh passport which would bear my husband's name
They should register me like that. My marriage certificate and court affidavit should be enough
kjsoteria:
Sis, as you know they make everything difficult in Nigeria. I have been in this dilemma recently and had to succumb to changing from my maiden name to my husband’s name not because I was ready to make that change but because of the rigorous administrative processes involved (not just now, but in the future).

I can tell you that no where is it mandated (culturally and religion wise) that a woman must change her name when married. And please don’t claim single because you are not, as far as you have a legal document to back up your marriage. It’s ok to have a Mrs Title and still use your maiden name. However, (in Nigeria) the tradeoffs might be more consequential on the cons of not changing it especially in this clime. Some examples are ; having name discrepancies in joint assets which may complicate legalities, having to get consent letter to travel with your kids because of name difference, having to deal with the stressful process of redoing your NIN and Passport again in the future (when you are ready) etc.

I’m still having NIN issues because of this. I decided to just get it out of the way now. It’s just another thing women have to go through in the name of marriage.
The decision is yours ultimately.
TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by Happyfellow147: 8:48pm On Sep 01, 2021
Someone should help please
I'm applying for international passport, never had one before. I used my maiden name as surname and chose Mrs as title.
My husband is my next of kin. The immigration officers during my interview convinced me to change my title to Miss and use single as my status.
They said that since I'm using my maiden name, that it would be extremely difficult to change the name to my husband's surname should I want to do so in future if I register as Mrs. Note also that this would affect my next of kin relationship as I cannot state single and fill 'husband' as NOK.
Now if I take their advice, it may be difficult to apply for my husband to join as my dependant since our wedding date showing on the certificate is earlier than my international passport registration date which I claimed single as my status.
If I go ahead to do a change of name, I'd have to pay afresh to apply for international passport including paying for change of name on my national ID.

I want to ask them to register me with my maiden name and indicate married as I don't intend to change my name anytime soon
All my official documents including school application bear my maiden name

Lekiboboe:
While you await response on your other questions from the gurus, I would only be answering the Scholarship aspect of your question.

if you can take your time and do your due diligence about it, luck might just smile at you.

Also note that, there is little or no scholarship for Course-based Masters in Canada, it's only Thesis-based Masters (Research Based Masters) that have Graduate scholarship opportunities in Canadian Universities.

That being said,

If you have a 2.1, I would suggest you target a Potential MSC Graduate Scholarship/Scholarships in Business Analytics research areas.

Interestingly, Business Analytics is more or else tailoring Management to Science, Tech & Engineering, i.e NONSTEM to STEM.

If you are proficient in the use of Python, SQL, R-programming, Advanced Excel and some other Data Analytics software packages, and you also have some Research Experience or Projects, did online courses related to Business Analytics, yes you stand a Chance of getting a MSC Graduate Scholarship in Canada

Below are some Research Areas in Business Analytics you might want to consider for your Masters degree in Canada Universities

- Big Data Analytics
- Time Series and Forecasting
- Statistical Machine Learning
- Supply Chain Management
- Blockchain Technology
- applied econometrics
- electricity markets
- financial econometrics and quantitative risk forecasting
- Bayesian methods
- forecasting, sensitivity analysis
- micro-econometrics, multivariate statistical methods
-panel data methods and models
- scheduling problems
- stochastic non-life insurance and actuarial problems
- testing and modelling structural change
- Actuarial Science
- Financial Engineering

Which ever Research area above (at least 4 Research Areas) you want to work on for your thesis-based Business Analytics Masters degree in Canada, you need to google professors in Canada whose Research Areas align with your Research Interests, read about their Area of expertise, research work, articles (journals, publications), then Draft a Mail and send it to them to show interest in their work, how your research interests aligns with the Prof's Research areas and your intentions to join their Research Group. Once a Prof. finds you fit for his research group, all other things na cruise (Softwork).

For more details how to go about that, and package yourself for Graduate School Scholarships, take your time and go through the contents in the links below, relate it to your intentions of going for a Business Analytics Masters degree in Canada.
