you need a brand new brain, you're on the island with no light and someone is on the ghetto with 22hrs light, are you not a slave to social amenities ?

I hope your parents ain't proud of giving birth to a 21 Century low IQ like you?

this one say i am on the island. he cant think pass Lagos. in his mind the world starts and ends in lagos. probably also hasn’t visited any state outside the south west either. Mr man i have light in the country I live in. they never take it. i know it is to difficult for you to fathom. I’d advice you to focus on the new problem the president you voted in has given you. go and pour fuel in your gen or do cyberfraud or whatever opportunity your APC government has offered in the last eight years. anything you do dont talk to me. find someone in your social bracket to talk trash to

Peter Obi and Atiku all agreed subsidy must go. So whichever one of them was sworn in, the status quo will be the same. As a matter of fact, Buhari's regime already removed subsidy from the end of May. So the money to pay for subsidy was not in June's budget and henceforth. The whole high price now and hoarding is from our people who want to over gain. Filling Stations who bought the fuel when it was 156 or 160 want to wait and sell for 600 or 700.

Ruben Abati and Don Lemon all in one. Thanks for analyzing rubbish and deflecting from the stupidity the person you voted in has statrted exhibiting. That suffer wey dey hungry you to chop you go chop am

I learnt that this is how many of these fuel cabals operate to cheat the government. Some get access to oil blocks ( but cant refine the crude oils) so they ship it and sell it to their cronies that have a lot of stakes in modular refineries abroad, in which they import it back to nigeria at a subsidized rates being paid by the government. So virtually carrying nigerian crude oil abroad to refine, and sell it far higher than even the supposed money without the subsidy, yet come back, claim subsidies, making monies in multiple ways, claiming they are multi billionaire , forbes this, forbes that. If you look well, they are same people behind all these forex and dollar manipulations.
My fear is that until i see this new government encouraging and commisioning modular refineries after maximum, let's say, 2 years of this price adjustments in each region, and selling crude oil at local price in naira directly , simuteneoulsy, to the operators, things may be getting worse. If i remember, Tinubu said he would waive a lot of taxes for investors that want to be part of oil industry revolutions, so that they get waivers to subsidize the price and improve employments to the citizen if elected, ( cos he himself is an oil expert and know much of the industry) BUT CAN WE Really TRUST POLITICIANS in nigeria? Will they allow him to work?

Do we, nigerians have that patience? DONT WE, as a citizens like cutting corners just look at how filling stations sky rockets their prices overnights over the stock they have at hand? Drop gas price by 10 naira and you will hear them saying they have never seen any official letters. It will take them 2 months to adjust.
Same thing should be aplicable to all other sectors especially agricultural sector, region by region ,which i also believe that shetimma is also an expert in that sector and can handle that. Revolutionise and encourage mechanized farming and let the price of basic food fall and avoidable.
I dont know if it is practicable or possible. i just dont know.

expert in that sector expert in this sector. Make we dey see na. all of una wey no wan learn go still learn. if you no gree learn your children go need learn on your behalf. continue

what's Peter obi legacy, we've 22hrs power supply at my end here

he say he has 22 hours power supply. cheesy this is eveb most likely a lie. 22 hours in the whole month you mean? i am also not talking about serviced estates that run on diesel. i put it to you that you do not consistently have goverment-generated power for 22hrs in 365 days year after year. Sorry to shock you but there are countries whose governements provide electricity 24hrs for 365days consistently, year after year.
the legacy of whoever you are talking about in Lagos is below par and nothing to celebrate about

okay and the Lagos state ideas what is outstanding about it? una get light? half of the city is flooded and the other half is littered with thugs and tattered yellow buses with black lines. you better wake up and realize that 90% of Nigerians living in Nigeria dont have any government-provided basic amenities regardless of state or locale

I know you weren't happy with all the going ons under Buhari but didn't want to cause trouble.

But a northerner wouldn't have been this calm. Look at how deputy speaker is giving gbajabiamila wotowoto challenging him.

your alleged “pastor” is in the same criminal organization as Tinubu. He is the second most powerful man and part of the government that committed several heinous crimes in the last 8 years including killing civillians during End Sars

Well since I haven't eaten and I'm worth less than $20, I think I should be the one feeling the pain, not you that have eaten more than 20 times and most likely worth over $2 trillion.

And since the progress of your $20 trillion is dependent on who becomes president, that is not the case for me. My destiny and that of my extended family members living in village (or is it slum you said?) is not in anyway related to the president.

So you are free to choose the president who will now make you richer than Bill Gates, then allow me with my inability to eat for 2 months with less than 2 dollars worth.

These are the people who know what's in the offing and already clearing grounds so they will be counted among the winning team. cheesy

Elrufai, being a northern gov has a reasonable idea of what the presidency is up to as regards 2023 general elections and just has to align himself.

But some illiterates are somewhere taking Meth from morning till night giving themselves false hope while making some wild imagination about Buhari's Jubrin's plan to dump Tinubu and favour them. The same Jubrin the animals have been insulting for over 7 years. grin

Aliko Dangote already knows the drift and has since started addressing Tinubu the Jagaban of Nigeria. He didn't just want to put it succinctly so he doesn't divulge privileged information. cheesy

I am 100% certain you have not eaten today. You are most probably worth much less than $2000. You probably live in a Nigerian city but most of your extended family is stuck in a village with bad roads and no pipe borne water.

But for some reason instead of advocating for the best person to take you and your family out of poverty, you consistently not only support Tinubu who by the way, God won't allow to be Nigerian president, you attack other tribes viciously.

You are welcome. The bundle I just described is over £100pcm (maybe £85 on time-limited promo) and is the one-stop shop that I could think of. Getting BT Sport alone will not give you access to domestic matches unless your intention is to keep the Sky football on NOW, which I think is only available on mobile devices rather than on the telly.

NowTV is not just on Mobile. It is also available on Mac&PC. For TV heads, there is also the stick dongle.
For now, I plan to combine BTs monthly pass and Now -Sky. This should incentivize me to bypass DSTVs geolocation restrictions.

Be aware that not all premier league matches are shown on TV in the UK. Legally, most 3pm matches on Saturday are not to be broadcast live. So you may find that even with all your subscription, you may not be able to watch some of the matches of your favourite team, depending on the kick-off time.

Yeah I know about the 3pm blackout. I have known about it since even before I moved to the UK

If money is not a problem, you could get Virgin Media’s sport bundle (with Sky Sports and BT Sport). Domestic matches (EPL, EFL and the Cups) are mainly aired on Sky Sports (a few are on BT - mainly the Saturday lunchtime fixtures) while European games (UCL, UEL, UECL, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, etc) are exclusive to BT Sport and are all in HD - you could choose between HD and SD for Sky Sports. The bundle also takes care of your broadband needs, landline, SIM contract, cable tv, etc. However, it is not cheap!

I have checked the pricing. £85pm is fair since there are the other add-ons. I however don't need these add-ons. From what you said, it sounds like BT and SKY is all I need. I'd figure out how to pay for just BT without getting into a contract with Virgin.
Thanks for your reply.

How do I watch all football games (UCL, EPL, etc) - Basically make my own equivalent of the Nigerian DSTV subscription here in London?

Presently, I have NowTV which i use on my personal Macbook. It is basically SkySports and my viewing experience has been a solid 8/10 (i.e when they show the games). The video latency is very low (which is quite good; lag is 60 seconds max), and the video quality is crisp.
The issue is because of tv regulations here in the UK, and the resulting rationing of airtime between various sports channels, I can't see many games on Sky/NowTV. I have tried to augment with Amazon Prime and that barely shows any games that are not on Sky, so no much benefit there.

I'd like to pay money to one single outlet/company and watch all the games I need to see (similar to how DSTV works).
If that is not possible, I'd like to bypass DstvNow's geographical block and use it from London. (I still pay for my DSTV back in Nigeria). I have tried to do this by connecting to a paid Nigerian VPN server. This doesn't work. My guess is they use cached location info provided by the browser/hardware? Anyways, while I still investigate how to bypass this hurdle, DSTV still reigns supreme as my most preferred option because I can pay once and be sure the game is going to be aired.
On the other hand, I could look for the minimum number of companies/networks to watch the maximum number of games.
The least preferred option is to watch on public streaming sites. The issue with those is that the commentary is not guaranteed to be English, and the quality is pretty low with a very high latency and terrible lag.

How do you folks watch all football games here in London?

I need to watch UCL this evening.
