Did you know that more women/girls are more educated than men/boys presently in Nigeria.
It should be a good thing but even with the statistics Nigeria since to be depreciating the more.

I can’t even consent to women being given political leadership roles in Nigeria, the few ones we tried are far worse than their male counterparts. Sigh.

You're comparig the MC of the event to an ordinary guest? A person that was probably paid tens of thousands of naira for this yet he couldn't take his time to learn how to pronounce the names of the dignitaries particularly that of the host state's governor. That level of ignorance is inexcusable.

Okay let’s use your logic.

Let’s say the MC was even paid plenty money- N10 million and he being unable to pronounce names of the dignitaries is unacceptable (people he doesn’t know from Adam) and the level of ignorance is inexcusable.

What do you say about the Oyinbo that was an associate of the deceased. Knew him very well, got contracts and deals worth million, probably billions of dollar $ and still couldn’t pronounce the deceased’s name properly during his speech undecided

Why is it that Nigerians are very critical of themselves, a foreigner would have 100 kind words to a Nigerian before his fellow Nigerian says a word of kindness to him.

That’s why when Burna Boy said he doesn’t give two shi about praises from Nigerians, because they never supported him and are only praising him cuz the rest of world his doing so; I believed him and totally agreed with him.

He even mispronounced Rivers State governor's name, the state where they're being hosted. I think that's more unforgivable.

All these petty Nigerian ideology.

When Oyinbo man called to speak, mispronounced the deceased name(s) why didn’t you call that out as disrespect undecided

There is something you are missing and that is why this your idea is dangerous to your well-being.

Politicians don’t live among the masses. They give them cash gifts that is less than 1% of the net worth and they separate themselves.

Access to these people are restricted for security reason.

In your case these Family and Friends have you easily accessible, some of them even know your whereabouts at any given time. Dangerous!

The biggest material gift I have made for a woman is to my current partner. Paying her school fees from year one to presently 500L and putting her on a 15k weekly stipend till date (initially 5k weekly then 10k now 15k) and sometimes 100k to change clothes if fortune smiles on me.

Sounds surprising but babe paid her dues and won my respect.

I could remember living in a face me I face you, squatting with 3 other friends who couldn't get food talk more of wearing clothes. When many girls would hiss once I approach them, this girl said yes.

One reason I asked her out was so I could have someone atleast bringing me food because her mom had a rice and beans store grin but to my surprise she wasn't only bringing foodstuffs but was also bringing cooked food

She introduced me to using roll on and perfumes because I couldn't afford and she was buying them for me and I can't count how many times I begged and she loaned me small change to hold body and soul together... Woooo I can't count how far that babe went for me.

Fast forward to when she gained admission, her dad's job stopped and mom's business couldn't sustain the family but luckily I got a 45k a month job which I did and was sharing my small change with her to sustain pending when things get better for them.

The father didn't secure job till date and I grew, got a better job and later resigned to do my own hustle... I filled the gap

My Father My Father lol 😂

As for my girlfriend/fiance turned wife I spent on her too but not usually as bulky as some family support are

This are the major ones, there are so many that I can barely remember

Senior Man you sef don try, please focus on your immediate family, create a legacy and investments for your nuclear family and allow the rest to fend for themselves, when hunger knack them well it would ginger their hustle spirit. They can’t be wasting your hard-earned money.

Instead of that, split your wealth by half, use it to provide for your family relatives and friends and keep them close no body jokes with his source of livelihood.
They'll fight anything that wants to get to you or steal from you cos they know they're also being robbed. If you have no more they'll starve

This is the reason I made my first statement.

Thank God psalm is your name, so you know what Jesus said about covetousness.

@The Bolden I don’t want to believe you are not naive, people that work real hard for their money don’t use it for giveaway and people that haven’t developed the ability to make and retain wealth can hardly keep it no matter how much you give them.

In this your scenario it is the “family” & “friends” of this person that would kill him, in other to take the remaining after they have squandered the portion they were given. Once you give people a taste of wealth without the accompanying mental capacity for it, you create a bigger problem. Since they are taste, they are become everly more desperate to get back to that position after every phase of squandering.

it would be safer for you to walk around with spears to fend off attackers than going this route undecided

Since the civil war, it has never been this bad in Nigeria! Quit this pretence.

Maybe you are not well educated to understand the gravity of the current situation the nation is beset with... Don't worry, reality will teach you.

I'm not supporting theft or looting or anarchy, but what we support or oppose won't change the unfolding reality.

You better channel your frustrations towards those elected into offices... If they don't act fast to mitigate the fallout of these economic reforms, things will get really ugly across the nation.

So, keep abusing and blaming this present generation instead of the older crop of corrupt leaders that looted and siphoned the wealth of generations leaving them with debts and a dying economy.

It's just amusing sha... During Jonathan's administration, y'all blamed every single issue on him, calling him clueless, even your current President was among the harshest critics.

Suddenly, it's no longer a leadership issue, rather the fault of average Nigerians.

What suddenly changed after GEJ left Aso Rock?!!

Hypocrisy is not good.

You are the hypocrite.

I hope soon you and your family are kidnapped or rob to satisfy someone’s “hunger”. Since you are here to justify these vices.

Karma has been catching up real fast with people like you lately. No worries we would be here to read your story.

Whether we justify or criticize these acts, what does it change?!!

The reality is simple... If things continue like this (Inflation of food prices), anarchy will ensue.

The hungry and impoverished won't roll over and die... Nope! They are going after those with more food than they have.

Mothers and fathers won't fold their hands and watch their kids starve to death.

So, instead of swearing at jesters online, channel your energy towards drumming up solutions.

I have posited mine above... Not like those ruling the nation ever listen. SMH. undecided

Relax you won't be exempted... Those guys that looted the warehouses are not terrorists..

No Man can boast of feeding his own Family again as we speak..

Soon of care is not taking.. revolution will start on is own..

I am already exempted. It is all of you that support theft that won’t be exempted.

Besides like i always say anybody regardless of their hunger status that wants to rob me or mine, whatever they intend to steal should better be worth their life undecided

There is something wrong with this new generation, zero morals, lazy and shameless. Even the poorest in the days of your forefathers, who rather die that steal or commit a crime that would tarnish their father’s name.

Here you have them using their own hunger to justify stealing. Spits. Every man would satisfy himself with the work of his hand, anyone that doesn’t want to do that should go and abeg since they have no shame.

The worst part is the typical Nigerian is root cause of Nigeria’s problems. From the ones trading dollars like its a product to profit from, to the greedy market people that source their goods locally and still rise the prices of their items every six hours. You are doing yourself. As you lay your beds, you lie on it.

Again, attack me or mine cuz you are hungry; whatever you want to steal better be worth your life! undecided

Money is not supposed to give you special treatment in the house of God.... everybody should be treated as equals in the house of God

If the church did not halt occasions when an average member died then it shouldn't do it cuz a billionaire died

Asking for special treatment and recognize in church because of financial capacity is ungodly

This is not even about special treatment, plus Wigwe is an esteemed member of that church if we are not lying to ourselves.

If the Church can show so much insensitivity to an such esteemed member how much more ordinary members. So when they dead or fall ill nobody cares?? Is the what Christ wanted??

Wow. What a people.

9jatriot:
If it was a poor man that died and the pastor threw a party 2 weeks later, would it still have been out of place?

That is the main question. If a whole Wigwe can be treated like that, only God know nobody gives a damn what happens to any other poor member in that Church.

That why i am not a fun of Church’s building edifice for thousands of people. The quality of Love and care starts taking a nose dive.

The lack of Love is so glaring, where there is no Love or Inadequate Love you can NEVER see the full manifestation of God’s power in such a place.

I hope the pastor would see it as a learning point to cut excesses in the house of God.

As Christian there are things we do for the conscience of our of others. All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: 1 corin 6:12 - you have a friend with drinking problem but for you as a Christian you have nothing against drinking and no addiction to it; just for the sake of this Friend, when you have friends hangout you exclude alcohol from the menu. This is the path of Love we are called to walk upon as Christian, love is sacrifice.

For me, true friendship isn't about being there only when it's convenient, it's about being there when it's not. Through what they are willing to sacrifice for you; It is during heavy trials that you know true friends.

Word!

I am not the judgmental or even religious type but i must confessed I was embarrassed for the Church and their pastor watching the Pastor’s wife and her antics during the so called celebration. Smh

Let’s call a spade a spade. The fact she went on with it, speaks volumes. When i tell people DON’T carry Church on your head, don’t seek to be known there, don’t seek honor. Serve your God, do you own bit to help others and go home.

Godforbid if someone’s son dies does that person still go on with her birthday celebration, because of how much she has spent on it already? Think on it.

Most of you don’t like to hear the true. All you just want to do is pass the blame to the Government.

This FX issue is caused by the greedy masses, so many people have now turned Dollar to a commodity they think they can trade for quick profit.

I know so many people that have taken advantage of the situation, they are normal Nigerians. Buying dollars they don’t need everyweek so they can sell at a profit. Forgetting or not even caring about the after effect - Inflation (which they would still lose the profit they have made to)

Nowadays I see young man marrying cuz of looks and nothing else.

She sticks with him cuz well-to-do an extent and she currently can’t do better in getting a man of higher social status.

He condones her, grants every wish. Then the moment life gets real, he tries to get real with her. How??!

I totally blame the guys, they set the precedence that they want changed amid marriage where is that done?

Before you married her you always ate out with her, did all the spending, paid for everything then you married her then expect her to manage income by preparing home cooked meals? contribute to the household? Oga you are just deceiving yourself.

If you like don’t marry a helper like God originally ordained, you see she is not ready to do no building, you chuk head. It won’t last and you’d have yourself to blame.
