I will reject the offer too. Where I am working currently, during the interview I asked the MD, who is the Manager, is it a man or a woman?

The MD was like, do you have problem with any gender? I said yes, if it is a woman, I won't work.

I once worked in a company full of ladies and to be honest, that was the WORST JOB of my entire 9 years career. Since then, I said I will never work in any company a woman is the manager. God forbid!

My last woman boss - (1) Doesn’t read emails (2) remote setting: Goes AWOL during working hours only to drag us into a meeting at night, looking and sounding like she had been sleeping all day. Me wey dey work during working hours only go still do night when she wake up (3) Just knoow the meeting she has called is for a deliverable due tomorrow morning and this was sent to her over a month ago oo. (4) overall she was controlled by her moods, on most days.

It’s a sharp contrast from my male bosses. You greet them or you no greet them: none of my bosses ever cared about such. I am not saying all my male bosses were all hardworking, my previous male boss lazy die lol: but once work comes he forwards it promptly; and you can always go back to him for guidance; even if he won’t touch any of the work to be done lol.

N2.9 billion on that very local show of mediocrity i shook my head at, every 5 minutes whiles watching

Does anyone here use Stanbic IBTC Stocbroker platform. I'm having an awful experience trying to get a single order filled. I've been placing orders daily, and each day they go unfilled, despite my orders being at or above market price.

On the otherhand, i also use United capital, but my order are filled within 15 minutes of placing them.

So, I'm wondering how the largest stockbroker in Nigeria (SISL) is running an inferior system to a smaller broker like UCSL

Best bet is to put it in a fixed income instrument forever bearing in mind that the funds has no room for a higher risk. @15% just maybe he gets N450k annually. So, that's is 150k per term. Better to attend a public secondary school while compounding the money for another 5 years aiming for university education.

The truth is that we have more than 20 fund managers under SEC regulation that are not popular here or some of us just got to know, this has nothing to do with the safety of your funds.

Please understand, no investor is investing in a fund manager as a Company rather an investor join funds with other investors to invest in TBills and CPs, using the fund manager's platform

If for example the platform collapses which is rear, SEC moves the investors to another platform without an investor losing a dim.

Just like an investor will not lose one single unit of shares if the stockbroker he/she used collapses, all shares will be intact and can be moved to another broker's platform.

I will advise us here read more on mutual funds and MMF in particular you will be well guided.

I have said it time without number, MMF is a low risk investment irrespective of the manager and there is a reason for that.
