I wouldn't want my wife to rely on her ex before taking any major decision.
How can I pull out? That man don marry rubbish. Imagine you were that man, and your wife is communing with ex to take decisions. Meaning the ex can still nack if he wanted. Na rubbish lady. You better cut her before she cause your problems. |

searchng4love: You need a stanbic ibtc account.... Then you can apply for the loan up to 80% of your total mmf balance
The Stanbic IBTC Smart Loan is a digital, paperless facility designed for Money Market Fund account holders. It allows you to borrow up to ₦200 million without liquidating your investments. Stanbic can only loan a customer just 80% of the money they have already? What a smart loan! I don’t even blame them. Which right thinking person has the money he needs, accumulating interest income at 15% would leave it then use it as collateral to borrow just 80% of the money he already has at a higher interest rate then his investment which he can easily liquidate for use It’s a foolish idea if you ask me |

shiwex: I get the idea of privacy, but this mindset is exactly why a lot of modern marriages struggle. You can’t build a real partnership without some level of transparency—especially around finances. It’s not about control, it’s about trust, planning, and being on the same page. Wanting complete secrecy just comes across as self-serving rather than building something together. Marriage isn’t two individuals living separate financial lives—it’s supposed to be a team. Gbam! Trust me she has her reasons for not wanting to disclose. Let me tell you again, she has reasons she doesn’t want to disclose to her partner The wise will understand, God bless you all. |

sharone21: Just know that 18.5% annual interest minimum is stated...... They will normally later remove 10% withholding tax, you will still get 1/3rd of your capital every 2 yrs and in 5 yrs make back your capital invested.
18.5% GROSS “1/3rd of your capital every 2 yrs and in 5 yrs” in other words, you are telling us the net is around 15% 72/15 = 4.8 (time it’s takes to make the same amount of interest as your capital). It is not different from a regular Stanbic or First Asset MMF. |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by Harddiskng(m): 6:57pm On Jun 23 |
emmasoft: Rates displayed are net of all charges (Management fees). The WHT has already been taken from the underlying asset - Tbills and CPs.
Hence, what is displayed is what gets to the investor.
For Firms that display gross, it's expected that it be stated as required by the SEC. For example, you will notice that for those using GT Fund managers, under the rates displayed, a note is written stating that the rate displayed is gross, which is the standard practice. Thank you for amazing response as always |

sharone21: Not easy registering on Stanbic for equity/ mutual fund, those doing it are trying. 1m otps to confront.
With 18.5% minimum annual interest from mutual fund or fixed deposit just know you make 1/3 of your invested capital every 2 yrs( even after 10% WHT is deducted). You double your capital in 5 yrs, so ensure you are more intentional/ strategic with nothing less than 18.5% annual interest. Is the 18.5% net of WHT? |

In other words, Mrs Ajayi that seperated from Mr Ajayi before his death; went to court to argue the “deceased is my husband” just to claim his estate in death. Where was the love to get him back to be your husband before his death, i guess we will never find out. This life ehn dominique: The man actually drew a will where Helen was allocated properties but the court threw it out after the estranged wife challenged it. She claimed Helen was a concubine who made him draft a will that would favour her and children she had for another man. Meanwhile she had been separated from the man years before he and Helen married o. Helen stood by the man till his last days, took care of him as his health failed and the end of the day, she got paid by being referred to a home wrecker. The man did her dirty, she also did herself dirty He should have gotten a divorce from Mrs Ajayi then May people that were never there for us, never taste out of the fruits of our labour when we die 🤲🏽 ****************************** Helen Prest had a valid claim but failed cuz she could have gotten better lawyers, Mrs Ajayi case was handled by a SAN, Helen Prest should have done same with the magnitude of what was at stake, hiring from the top law firms in Nigeria (Aluko & Oyebode, Banwo & Ighodalo, Olaniwun Ajayi, Templars etc) would have been money well spent for Helen Prest. Helen Prest had better appeal and bring an atomic bomb to the battle (eg evidence of Mrs Ajayi infidelity, proof the deceased no longer wanted anything to do with her etc ). Anyways 3 gbosa to Mr Kunle Adegoke SAN for winning this round. I like good lawyers. Mrs Ajayi was wise enough to hire a SAN, the cunny woman brought a Bazooka to a gun fight
