IamAnderson: If you're feeding your dog egg then feed them the whole egg. If what you're assuming by feeding only the yolk is that you're giving them the more proteinous part then you're mistaken. Egg white is even richer in protein than egg yolk, it contains the protein of an egg Egg yolk contains the cholesterol, fats and vitamins To use egg as a meal you have to use the whole egg to get the all round nutrition Actually, egg white isn't used/advisable for making puppy milk replacement formulas bro. Look it up online. It's always only the yolk that is used because puppies at this stage cannot digest most enzymes in the egg white. It can cause vitamin deficiencies. |

I also think that your pup could be a preterm(premature) puppy. I had a dog that gave birth to 2 of her puppies prematurely. They couldn't suckle on their own, they needed assistance to balance, and they didn't digest food normally. I think this your pup was probably the last fertilized egg. She could come out the same time with the other ones but still be premature. I eventually lost mine too, same age too. |

DRPAIT123: hello chief, I thought it was a Siberia husky too, and that's even the name I gave on that FB group. I also thought for once, that she could be Alaskan malamute, a simple Google searched, proved that idea wrong. I thought Huskies are supposed to have a Straight and erect ear, this dog has her ears sideways in all pictures. Any Explanation for this? Thank you! Alaskan malamutes are bigger than Siberian huskies and have plush coat. The ears of the above dog are actually erect, it's just that a dog's mood has a lot to do with how they keep their ears, their ears are mostly erect when they are at alert or exited, most times when their ears fly, they could be sad, exited still, insecure, worked up or any other mood. |

ebenson90: OK sir...but what is the solution here? It could be possible that the evaporated milk you gave the puppy earlier might have caused diarrhea and the puppy might not be passing out enough feaces and urine to enable emptying their bowel. You know at this stage, they can't pass out urine and feaces on their own, and their mum might not be doing a good job at making them urinate or poop. Liver dysfunction could be the case. Try to stimulate the pup's sex organ by rubbing it with a towel or something so it could urinate, also rub their anus too, to see if the pup can stool at least. |

ebenson90: no...there's nothing like that....no swelling and when I touch/carry her on me,she becomes calm.......she is just shouting and forcing herself to crawl but she can't because the legs are stiff. Just keep hand feeding her and try as much as possible to comfort her. See if by the time she'll be about 2 weeks there'd be any improvements. |

Very stupid mentality, a puppy that is barely 3 months, you wan chop am. You should be very vile and stupid for having such a sense of reasoning. Na God go help us for this country with our very crude mentality. Later on they will say it's a joke. |

ebenson90: OK thank you sir.....the thing is the pup legs just became stiff all of a sudden and her stomach is a bit strong but she's not showing any sign of weakness....she can't breastfeed well because she can't move her hands and the mom too doesn't have much milk in her so she's refusing to feed....I'm just so sad for the pups....so little and passing through all this So sorry bro. Have you at least gotten the things I told you that you could use to augment with the little milk their mum is producing. |

ebenson90: seriously....and I just bought one pack of the evaporated milk because someone prescribed it to me.....okay...I will go for the peak123....and they are 8pups so how many eggyolk am I using.......I'm sure she isn't because when I press the tits, milk doesn't come out much and when the pups suckle for a while and remove their mouth, they don't sleep...they start looking for more but breast don dry You can add 2 egg yolks to about 50cl of the milk, the remaining mixture, you can refrigerate and warm for whenever you want to feed them again, but make sure the milk should be warm before giving them. Monitor the temperature of the milk so it's not hot nor cold before feeding. |
Pets › Re: My Female Gsd Just Whelped...finally by Haroldjunior: 3:41pm On Nov 07, 2020*. Modified: 9:49pm On Nov 09, 2020 |
Do not feed them lots of evaporated milk please. It could cause serious diarrhoea. Just get children milk(peak 123 and co), add fresh egg yolk, mix together, bottle feed at warm temperature. Evaporated milk would be hard for their digestion. Or you get yoghurt that isn't sweetened and add egg yolk to it. The amount of egg yolks you add depends on how many puppies that you're feeding. Plus, how sure are you that she's not sufficiently feeding the puppies enough from her tits? |

MANCHESTERBLAC: I THOUGHT SHE WAS A SABLE WHERE DID THIS BACK AND TAN COME OUT FROM?GUYS AM CONFUSED CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN Sables sometimes do turn out this dark shade, most times even darker. Dogs with sable coats at birth usually have an unpredictable turn out of colour in the future. I've seen several sables that turned out to be like this, most times, even darker. It's still called sable, not black and tan, cuz it isn't solid. The dog's coat changes really confused me sha, cuz he was born as a black and tan. Na God know sha. The dog looks wonderful so far. |
