Hello Everyone,
Do MBA students get grants or scholarships? I'm asking because most of the tuition fees my bro saw online range between 30 to 40k USD. |

vickyehi: It would only raise a brow if you lied on your ist application by denying or omitting your bsc education.
If you truthfully answered the question of "what you have been doing in the last 10years" , then you are good to go. If not you can be liable under misrepresentation rules. I stated that I already acquired a degree in Biochemistry. My plan was to acquire a degree in video game programming |

Qudkom: To begin with; 1. Do you have a previous BSc. Certificate? 2. If yes, was it a high CGPA? 3. I'm pretty sure one of the refusal reasons was based on 'Purpose of visit"- did you order gcms note? 4. The chances of getting a trv for Canada for a bsc with age, previous degree in consideration is very low Answers: 1. Yes, 2,1 in biochemistry 2. 3.85/5 scale 3. Yes, 4. I ordered it but nothing much was stated - can send it to you 5. Clocked 26 few days ago |

Hello everyone,
I applied for BSc and got denied for TRV twice this year (May and July precisely).
I don't know if applying for MSc would raise eyebrow as I initially applied for BSc in order to get TRV.
Can someone help with this? |

sillysassysally: TRV UPDATE for the week ending May 11th
CIC woke up from their inertia this week as lots of people finally got updates on their application. Congratulations to everyone that got approval alerts. For those that got SP outcomes that they weren't hoping for, I pray for God's guidance through this short-term setback and that he perfects everything in the end.
Complete information is still needed from Seatea, Oni2019, Promise147, docsaj, Cutieflaky, Klem28, Boe19, Ancy 26, Omarzx, Hiambenson, Wealthmiq, Teslimot01, Pelumi12, Harveygordon, NuelNuelTT, and Abusmanlouis).

Tracking Number:20190416CALASTUxxxxx http://www.vfsglobal.ca/cBest Regards/Cordialement, Canada Visa Application Centre, Lagos Lagos" However, my concern is that I tried tracking my application and what I have been getting is "no records found." Should I be worried? Note it is an online application. Thank you for your response in advance |

Morning all, I
I just received my admission letter this last week and I'm to resume 13th of May. l want to know if it is still possible to get TRV before the said date or I seek for deferral of admission.
Secondly, if I get to get to defer the admission do I need the document do I need to state it when applying for TRV?
Thanks for your response in advance |

crusader6: It all depends on what he wants to study in his second degree, the connection it has with the first , how superior it is to the first and how hes able to convince the Vo in his Sop. I know for instance if you did Bsc in Physiology or Anatomy you can go for another Bsc in Nursing Or Medicine. There are all medically related and you can easily convince the Vo probably by saying u wana secure a better place in the health sector. So u still have a chance... If you studied Physics , you can go for another degree in Electrical Engineering... Thanks... I do appreciate

Secondly, according to him he said his parents are willing to support him throughout his first year in school for a 4year course but afterwards he will be on his own. How feasible is it for him to work and save enough to pay for his tuition fee through remainder of the 3years? |

MzDeeb: Unilag doesn't issue transcript to individuals. Its super annoying.
I guess i will print out DIT's response and add to the supporting documents. So they will know the transcript is with DIT and they can request from them if need be.
Thanks I don't understand how getting transcript is so difficult, whereas it is simple. Just go to your school and tell them your place of work requested for the transcript. Drop address of the company and name of an individual you would want the transcript to be sent to. Note: the person could be your friend or anyone in the company that would receive the letter and deliver it to you. That was how I got mine. |

partnerus: Well, I can't give a precise figure on that, else I will be misleading. My advice is that you go online and do some research on cost of living as student in Ireland. That way, you can be able to do comparison and reach a decisive decision. However, some folks here can help with that too. I too I am a prospective student as well. Alright. Thanks |

partnerus: My humble advise is that you keep the dream alive. Since you have the fund to cover tuition fees, that's a good headstart in the right direction. So get a family relative or trusted friend with a good amount of money in his or her bank account to stand as your sponsor, transfer the funds you have as tuition to your sponsor account and have them pay for the tuition on your behalf. Others are sundry expenses. If you can raise such amount in this country with her attendant hardship, I sure bet you can make headway in Ireland. Please keep the dream alive and don't give up. Nigeria is a mess and so anything to evacuate this dungeon of a country is most welcomed. Besides, money doesn't stay for too long with someone so you don't end up spending the tuition fees which you have already. Thanks Thanks for your advice. I really do appreciate. I would however want to have an idea of minimum amount I must set aside to survive pending the time I secure a job. Because I wouldn't like to get to Ireland and become stranded. |

Good day everyone. I have enough fund to cover my tuition fee but not so buoyant for the living expenses.
I want an honest opinion. Should I shelve my plans to travel Ireland for MSc?. My school is Griffith. |

drhammed: You have above average results which qualifies you for admission anywhere. I'm afraid the problem might be from your Personal Statement or SOP as they might have required. Be guided that graduate admissions is more than Grade alone, they also take into consideration of your Personal Statement, SOP, CV, research experience, etc.
I may advise you write a very convincing statement next time, stating how you're suitable for the graduate studies and wait for admission approval in no time.
Best wishes. Yes, I gave out my SOP for people read and a lot felt convinced. l must tell you I felt frustrated. |

Hi everyone! I don't know how to start but I will somehow.
I've seen people here get admissions into Canadian Unis be it for BSc, MSc or Certification programs. Some eventually get TRVs, some denied.
However, my own case has been rather worse. I've been denied admission 3 times: 2 by Uni of Saskatchewan and one by Uni of Manitoba.
Just for information, I graduated with a 2,1 in Biochemistry in one of Nigerian fed Unis. Had 98 in TOEFL (even when it is not needed most the Unis).
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? |
