Tumbulum: Seriously freedom of association... in Nigeria? Abeg.... We're in a lawless country, forget the constitution for now, These cultists guys are one of the problem of Nigeria, they evolve well in the political sectors, that's why they do anyhow, because they have high authority backup somewhere..... And there is a big difference, Boko haram is a terrorist group while cultists is a secret society with bad motives, but it's like you've never experienced the horror of these cultists guys, because if you do, you won't even dare to mention freedom of association 4 Likes |

Upon all these testimonies some won't still learn, this woman's case is still okay, some people will pay thousands of naira like 200K to process their travel, which is worth investing to start a good living for themselves here in Nigeria, and Sometimes I really don't blame these silly foreigners... Even we treat ourselves as shit hole/slave in our country, the most annoying thing is that these foreigners are treated like gods here, a black man who works under the authority of a white man has no respect for his fellow black men at the low level... People who works at construction company can understand this fact.. and can testify to this: if an ordinary worker on site is severely injured on site, after being given first aid, you're on your own, and the work continues, but if anything do oyinbo man for site.. work go stop instantly the project can even be suspended. happening in this Nigeria oo. I know of a safety officer in a who was sacked on site because the challenged the Chinese supervisors to reduce the man-hour because the work is too tedious for the long allocated time, guess what? he was sacked instantly by his fellow Nigerian. We are the ones that gave these foreigners the authority to do anyhow they like. I just hope we Nigerians come to our senses one day and until we learn value each other and what we have... Our leaders have Kuku failed us in many aspects. And like I said earlier upon all these testimonies about the middle eastern, someone somewhere is already warming up to japa 1 Like |

Are you pregnant or do you know someone who is pregnant, expecting a baby? Did you know there are numbers of things a pregnant woman needs to avoid and be cautious of during pregnancy to maximize the chances of good health for both the mother and the developing baby, in this article[s][/s], we discuss eight( things not to do while you are pregnant and reasons to avoid them. 1. Don’t wear high heels As your belly grows and changes during pregnancy, so as your center of gravity too, you may find yourself a little unsteady on your feet and it can be uneasy when climbing the stairs, it is advisable to stick to 3-inch heels or less. 2. Do not bathe in a hot water tub Hanging out in a hot water tub may seem perfect to relax in especially during the cold harmattan or winter season. Taking a hot bath causes a rise in the body temperature which is not too good for your baby, exalted body temperature during the first trimester (1-12 weeks) may lead to some certain birth defects. 3. Monitor your caffeine intake If you are pregnant, limiting or completely avoiding the consumption of caffeine would be a good idea, there is no exact amount of caffeine that is safe to consume during pregnancy experts agreed that pregnant women and those trying to conceive should avoid consuming large amounts or too much caffeine, it has been named to the risk of miscarriage. Note: Caffeine isn’t just a tea or coffee drink it can also be consumed from other sources like chocolate, soda, and some medicines. 4. Limit your exposure to environmental hazards Avoid breathing in second-hand cigarette smoke and try as much as possible to refrain from all kinds of environmental hazards, exposure to second-hand smoke during pregnancy is very dangerous for both the mother and the baby can affect a growing fetus may lead to different birth complications such as, Premature birth. fistonati: Palm wine can be good too though, but not in all cases, although it was a cultural practice that never failed to work in its own way.. Pami itself is medicinal and comes with lots of uses too when it comes to nursing a baby... My mother do use and recommends palm wine too, but most people abuse the use of palm wine... And consume it in the wrong way. although the act of giving a nursing mother palm wine to boost lactation was not a medically proved treatment... I am not condemning the use of palm wine, its fine if it works well for you. But not everyone can stand the consumption of Pami, some are allergic to it. Naturally palm wine is a low-alcoholic drink and its alcoholic content is as little as three per cent. But fermented palm wine has the potential to breed as high 12 per cent alcoholic content. When palm wine is consumed by a nursing mum, it passes into the breast milk. It is on record that there is no known safe level of alcohol consumption while breastfeeding While large amounts of alcohol in breast milk can have a sedative effect on babies... But personally,I won't advice a nursing Mother to make the consumption of palm wine an habit 1 Like 1 Share |

Are you a nursing mother? or do you experience low milk supply? If you are worried about how you can make enough breast milk naturally, this article is for you, your consistency in breastfeeding and the process are the two main keys necessary to establish a healthy milk supply. How to increase your breastmilk naturally 1. Breastfeed for long periods at each feeding Your newborn should be breastfed for at least 10-20 minutes on each breast, if he falls off the nipple give him some little time and try to burp your baby before you continue to the feeding, you will get more stimulation when you spend more time on breast-feeding. 2. Be self-confident Most breastfeeding mothers have the ability to maintain a healthy milk supply and you too can do it! yes! absolutely, you can, however, the doubt about the insufficiency of breastmilk is common amongst new mothers, and sometimes some experienced mothers too, lack of confidence and having emotions about it would only discourage the milk supply. As long as you are breastfeeding your baby very often and there are physical signs that your baby is getting enough, everything would be fine. 3. Stay Hydrated Drinking enough water and other fluids such as milk, juice, yogurt or tea can also help to boost the milk supply, taking enough fluids daily is very important for breastfeeding mothers, it also helps to eliminate harmful toxins from the body, experts recommend 2-3 liters of fluid depending on your body weight. You may feel thirsty when breastfeeding your baby due to the increased amount of oxytocin(the hormone responsible for milk flow) which allows you to drink more water. 4. Maintain A Healthy Balanced Diet Breastfeeding mothers are advised to eat well and maintain a healthy balanced diet to build up healthy milk supply, However, the production of breastmilk requires a good amount of energy, eat nutritious food that gives you energy and foods rich in protein such as, Oatmeal, yogurt, egg, vegetables, fish, etc. 5. Make sure that your baby latching properly Proper latching on the breast helps your baby to drain the milk properly from the breast and it also helps in the stimulation of more breastmilk production. 6. Make Breastfeeding Consistent Consistent breastfeeding is the most effective natural way to boost the milk supply, try nurse your baby very often and follow your baby’s lead, milk production is a demand and supply process, the more the milk you supply the higher the demand for production. 7. Let your baby feed fully on each breast Allow your baby to empty one breast before giving the other, this helps your baby to get all the nutrients in the breast which is essential for your child’s growth. 8. Get some rest Your state of mind has a lot to do with the milk production, too many worries and tenseness can make a negative impact on the milk supply, it may seem quite uneasy especially when you’re busy, but its very important to find the time to relax and take naps when your baby is sleeping too, when are relaxed, you get energized, which gives your body the ability to produce more milk. 9. Consider using breast pump compression This is done by removing more milk from the breast with the use of breast pump or hand expression, this helps to increase the frequency of milk supply. Pumping or massaging your breast is important especially when your baby is not nursing or latching effectively or does not breastfeed very often, but compression is usually not necessary if your child is breastfeeding well.
