Kano father gives conditions to son’s American A 46-year-old American woman and mother of two, Jeanine Deslky, is set to tie the nuptial knot with her 23-year-old Kano-born lover, Sulaiman Babayero, whom she met on Instagram. Daily Trust on Sunday gathered that the lovers had met on Istagram about a year ago, and what started as a normal platonic relationship grew and blossomed into online courtship. The lovers are now set for marriage in a few months following the arrival of the American woman to Nigeria to meet her heartthrob and his family members in Kano. Delsky, who arrived at the Panshekara residence of her online lover, said she was in Kano not only to see her heartthrob and his parents but also to declare her intention to marry him. According to her, she decided to trace her heartthrob to Kano because of her “genuine feelings” for him, adding that she had several online dating but found Isa “more real and sincere.” The mother of two said they had both agreed to get married and fly to the US where they intend to settle, adding that she had seen her dream coming to reality by meeting the love of her life. Sources close to the family of the man hinted that the marriage is expected to be consummated in March this year. The young Kano lover who has just finished his secondary school, has not only agreed to marry his much older lover and but has also expressed his readiness to follow her to America to settle and start a family. Malama Fatima Sulaiman, the mother of the young man, said she had no objection to her son’s relationship with the woman, adding that she would pray for them to have a happy married life in America. Meanwhile, the young man’s father said he would report the matter to the State Security Service (SSS) before giving his consent. Mr. Isa, a retired superintendent of police, told an online medium, Kano Focus, at his home in Panshekara yesterday that he had consented to the wedding based on four conditions. The first condition, he said, is to seek security clearance. “We are trying to do that, we’ll do that, we can’t do without that, we must do that. As a retired security officer, I know what I’m talking about. In fact, I’ll be seeing the SSS by Monday to tell them about the situation.” Kano focus quoted the father. According to the report, the second condition is that his son would be allowed to further his education in the US. He said the third condition is that Isa would maintain his adherence to the Islamic religion. “I want him to further his education and maintain his religion. No problem, maybe she may become a Muslim too,” he said. The retired police officer added that his final condition is that the bride-to-be must produce a written document of consent from her parents or relations as Muslims are not allowed to marry a woman on her own. The woman, whose real name is Janine Sanchez, is reported to be set to depart Nigeria in a week’s time and return in March for the wedding. AuwalYusuf812:I don tire for arsenal matter. All I know my problem is with xhaka, guendouzi and the central back |
We announce today that the decision has been taken to part company with our head coach Unai Emery and his coaching team. Speaking on behalf of the Arsenal board and our owners Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, Josh Kroenke said: “Our most sincere thanks go to Unai and his colleagues who were unrelenting in their efforts to get the club back to competing at the level we all expect and demand. We wish Unai and his team nothing but future success.” The decision has been taken due to results and performances not being at the level required. We have asked Freddie Ljungberg to take responsibility for the first team as interim head coach. We have full confidence in Freddie to take us forward. The search for a new head coach is underway and we will make a further announcement when that process is complete. Copyright 2019 The Arsenal Football Club plc. SHOCKING: Police rescue 9 Kano children kidnapped, renamed and ‘converted to Christianity’ in Onitsha The Kano Police Command has traced and rescued nine children kidnapped in Kano and trafficked to Onitsha in Anambra State for child slavery. DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that the rescue followed a public outcry by some parents that there was rise in cases of missing children in the metropolis. Addressing a press conference on Friday, the state commissioner of police Ahmed Ilyasu said the command’s Tactical Teams of Operation Puff Adder were detailed for a discreet investigation, deploying community policing tools in rescuing the minors. “A syndicate perpetuating this heinous act was busted and Eight ( suspects that specialized in kidnapping, concealment and keeping in confinement kidnapped persons, buying and selling of minors and trafficking in persons were tracked and arrested.“Nine (9) kidnapped victims were rescued at Onitsha in Anambra State. All suspects confessed to their offences.” Although the police chief was silent about their conversion and rechristening, a security source familiar with the situation told DAILY NIGERIAN that the children were first shaved, renamed, converted to Christianity and then sold off either for adoption or “child slavery”. A document sighted by DAILY NIGERIAN reveals the original names and new names of the children. For instance, 10-year-old Umar Faruq Ibrahim and nine-year-old Aisha Mohammed Abdullahi – kidnapped some four year ago – were renamed Onyedika Ogbodo and Ozioma Ogbodo respectively. DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that some of the children could not even recall their real names as they only answer their new names. What leads to the rescue Between year 2014 to 2019, one Sagir Mohammed Bako of Yankaba quarters and others reported to the commissioner of police that several number of their children whose age are between two and six years have been kidnapped and taken away to unknown destination by unknown persons. On September 12, at about 11:00am one Paul Owne of Dakata Quarters and Mercy Paul alias Maimuna of same address were arrested while trying to take one of the kidnapped victims, Haruna Sagir Bako, to Onitsha in Anambra State. The victim was kidnapped a day earlier on his way back from Islamiyya School at Yankaba Quarters by Messrs Onwe and Paul. While advising parents to be vigilant, a security source said a number of similar syndicates are operating in the state. “Parents should be very watchful and avoid what will leave them in perpetual agony. The kidnappers are on the prowl. They will just kidnap today, board luxurious bus the next day and sell off children for slavery,” he said. https://dailynigerian.com/shocking-police-rescue-9-kano-children-kidnapped-renamed-and-converted-to-christianity-in-onitsha/
