Sports / Super falcon: I Was Misquoted- Says Delong. by Hash86(m): 6:39pm On Dec 09, 2016
The Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung on Friday recounted his remarks concerning the non-preparedness of the government for the victorious Falcons that won the African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) trophy last Saturday.

In an interview with State House correspondents on Thursday, the Minister had said: “Don’t forget that nobody even knew the team would emerge victorious, if we were confident they will emerge victorious, all the Federation would have done is to plan for process of participation and entitlement.”

But Dalung on Friday claimed that he was misquoted.

He said: “May I conclude by trying to put into proper perspective an impression that has made national headlines to the effect that the Federal Government was not anticipating the victory of the Falcons and so could not have planned for it.

“This statement was attributed to myself. I want to categorically state that this is a statement taken out of context. And I cannot imagine or reconcile how … The commitment of the federal government to the support of the Falcons is indeed overwhelming.

“That explains why the Vice President himself had to abandon his tight schedule to visit the players in camp that is evidence of preparations for victory.

“The federal government was prepared because it has records of the antecedents of the performance of the players. The challenges we have today which has to do with their welfare is being given attention.

“We are working around the clock to see how to raise fund to address the issue of their bonuses,” he stated.

Islam for Muslims / Re: Is It Obligatory To Be A Follower Of Any Denomination? by Hash86(m): 2:34pm On Dec 09, 2016
It's not obligatory at all! But a true believer must have an 'aqeeda' to which he wighs his deeds. Because you cannot practise religion on you understanding alone you have to look at the views of other scholars. Islamic laws are based on holy Quran, hadith and ijtima'a, and latter which is ijtima'a is based on the understanding (with backup or proof from Quran and hadith) of khulufaur rashideen and uluma'a(Islamic scholars) and the uluma'as understandings varies and each have his proof from the Holy book and hadith. So you from this introduction, one must follow at least one of the uluma'as view unless if he's an uluma'a too.
If I may recommend a sect or denomination for you I would have said follow Ahlussunna Wal Jama'a. Because in Ahlussunna you don't have to joint religious body, no initiation or introduction and you don't have to follow any sheikh, whatever comes your way you just wigh it with the Holy Quran, hadith and ijtima'a of khulufa{sahaba} if it contradict these three fundamentals you discard it period.

This man is seriously mad! You kill a Fulani man's cow and you think you can go scout free. If a man kills 1 Fulani's cow, at least 2 men must pay for it with their blood. a Fulani man never forgives or forgets. A Fulani man can hold a grudges for you for more than 10 years and he must take revenge.
So I foresee blood shed in ekiti state if that stupid man continues with this grazing bulls3it.
He'd better learn a lesson from his neighbors from the other side...

Politics / Fake Protesters At National Assembly by Hash86(m): 8:35pm On Oct 13, 2016
Sometimes I wonder how stupid Nigerian politicians think their people are.
Below is a picture of a 3 young men holding a banner protesting in front of the national assembly yesterday claiming that they are from KIRU local Government of Kano State.
If you take a good look at the picture you will find out that those guys are not from Kano State Infact they don't even look like a northerners atall.
Clearly these guys are just hired to post and protest as a kiru lga indigenes, honourable abdulmuminu jibrin's constituency.
