In life people should learn to build their boldness level, imagine if she had locked her doors & stayed inside, she for dey give her own side of the story now, why attempting to jump from the 3rd floor because of armed robbers what if na Boko haram she for drink sniper and die asap. May her soul rest in peace. Amen. For someone that lost her life in such a way, you sound like a 16 year old. So young, so inexperienced about life, and so out of touch with life and with life as a Nigerian. Put your own people in the same shoe if they had died like that. Is this what you'd have said? Haba mana! |

OP, when you say notable, you're implying they're popular people. Therefore their names should be published. Notable is not by face. We don't know jacksh!t about them. |

babzo: Not that long, even short by Nigerian standard. In the US, some cases can take 2 to 3 years too to bring to trial. Sometimes 10 to 15. Especially those that will end up being executed. They try to make sure there's no evidence that exonerates the convict. |

franchasng: Davido came from a rich family but he was disadvantaged for the fact that his mother was a second wife, and you know how second wives and their kids are treated in Nigeria especially if the second wife dies.
That disadvantage pushed Davido into street hustle when he was supposed to focus on his studies.
Naeto C later realized that he ventured into the wrong career being a son of prominent politician, he had to quit and went back to school and now has a PhD and no longer doing music.
Check all those from rich family backgrounds that ventured into music, they rarely make it big because music industry is mostly for the irresponsible, whether you take it or not, showbiz is mostly for the irresponsible people and it's usually those from poor and ill-family backgrounds that cluster in that sector.
I rest my case You make an interesting and somewhat valid point. I noticed it in football too. Would be hard to find someone who came from comfort to not only make a career in football but to blow in such a way as to be successful like dem Okocha, Kanu, etc. Interesting point. |

Kudos to Tyler Robinson's father for turning him in. Very noble. Can't kill someone & mingle with others in society.
Just wondering if all the Law enforcement sketches/investigations would've led to Tyler Robinson if his father hadn't turned him in. |

Crime › Re: How N8,000 Dispute Led To Lagos Market Killing — Traders by Hausa(m): 5:32pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
INTEGRITYA1: It's so serious. Come and see how people can engage in serious battle because of little money.
The little money itself is not really the idea behind the fight but standing against what seems to be cheating and not ready to let go. It can cause serious damage like in the scenario that played out in this report.
I experienced such on occasion, that could have lead to serious damages because of just 500 Naira.
I hired a labourer to help me move planks to nearby location and we negotiated for 6k. There was another labourer nearby as we were negotiating which in turned joined the guy I negotiated with.
Both of them carried the planks in their wheelbarrows in equal proportion and moved to the destination.
I was surprised after I paid the 6k as agreed to the guy I met and as they were going, the fight started between two of them exchanging blow, I quickly ran to the scene and asked what happened, the issue was the guy i met took 3,500 and gave the other 2,500.
Now the other guy refused that the money have to be shared 3k each which to me is ideal, but the main guy insisted he's the one who collected the Contract before sublet to the other guy so they can't share the money equally.
I quickly brought out another 500 naira to the other guy to make up his own share of 3k, that's how I sorted the issue and say they should go peacefully before it degenerated to serious palarva. Interesting tale. I know this was long ago, but in hindsight what do you think? Considering one guy got the connect, contract, agreement, etc., don't you think it was fair that he took 3,500 and gave the other guy 2,500? Or how do you see it? |

If you keep this up, you'll end up lying to young people and even your children, just to make yourself feel better. The same Anambra has thousands of Ebonyi living and working peacefully - even in my town. But go on. |

RillJ: You people heard someone 'crying every night being tortured' but didn't report to the Police or storm the premises? The young man's death will also hang on your conscience. That's the latest from Nigerians now. They don't hear something and say something. E don dey be like Eastern Europe, where everyone minds their businesses. For context, see what happened at Mandillas in Lagos: Someone stabbed a guy... No one did anything. The stabbed guy got over it, gathered himself and returned for a revenge... No one did anything. Agberos had to come into the market to start vandalising and nearly mobbing the guy to death... No intervention, no nothing. What does that tell us? People are looking and saying tribe tribe tribe... Without realising that this incident was happening in front of a populated environment but no one did anything. It's a serious cause for concern. |
