Lol. Were not where.
In your local dialect, perhaps you pronounce 'were' as 'where', hence the way you typed it.
They almost have same pronunciation, though.

I thought it was a social media platform like reddit.
Checked to see it's for programmers.

Common, nobody was bashing him. In fact, in some forums e.g SO, Reddit etc, the comment would get downvoted or even deleted if it was a duplicate or if it required self-effort to solve. And there's a big warning to "search before posting".
It can be quite cringe to answer the same questions over and over; for example, we've had to post numerous screenshots of speed test over. Someone else will still come and ask "please how fast is starlink i wanna buy"
All in all, chill dude he is. Merci
Sorry, what's SO?
Sports / Re: Osimhen Refuses To Celebrate After Scoring Against Maduka Okoye by Hausa(m): 7:40pm On May 07
Good to see Osimehn and Isaac Success scoring and equalising respectively.

Remembering Isaac Success now, it kind of still hurts that he didn't play in clubs that matched his actual footballing abilities.
He was such a force at the 2013 U7 wc that year.
Hell, I like to think he had a better football brain than Osimhen. What a player he was.

But sha...
It is well.
Religion / Pastor Adegboye's Sermon Today About Having Your Guard Up. by Hausa(m): 2:02pm On May 05
In his message today, Pastor E.A. Adegboye talked about God being a shield for us, where he mentioned the importance of having your guard up.

Being a lover of boxing, he illustrated how boxers kept their guards up to cover their faces at all times...
One man, he said, rarely kept his guard up.
And that's because he was good with his legs; floating like a Butterfly and stinging like a Bee.

To illustrate this is to see the Muhammed Ali v Sonny Liston (I) Heavyweight title fight of 1964...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IY4vNA01BY?si=3cuJE_amqMlVvGXc

No other boxer would've kept their hands down without getting their heads ripped off from a mean fighter like Sonny Liston.
To him, his opponents must've seemed like they were moving on slow motion.
Food / Re: Opinion: Okpa Is Better Than Moi Moi by Hausa(m): 1:47pm On May 05
If it is yellowish, yes.
I don't understand all these reddish ones I'm seeing in Lagos.
Whether na the oil, I no no.

But living in Nsukka those days, it was always yellowish.
People selling okpa, chanting "Ọkpa dị ọkụ" all over campus and Ziks flat back then was badass.

Crime / Re: Suspected Phone Thief Stabs Young Woman In Yobe, Now arrested! by Hausa(m): 10:07am On May 04
OMG!
Back in the days when I lived in Yobe, I never heard of a single stab or way-laying theft. Not one.
I dey even waka for that lonely back road from New Jerusalem that busts out behind the Governors' office as late as 1am. Things were so safe, mehnnn!
I hope the assailant spends at least 2 solid years behind bars.

But Damaturu don change ooo. shocked
It is now called a city, there's now an academy, and there's even now a by-pass.

I blame the administration of Goodluck Jonathan for allowing terrorism brew under his watch. With the information available to him, He would have exposed the political culprits in its early stages, brought them to severe judgement, created a landmark punishment to deter anyone in future and silence terrorism once and for all.
Obasanjo administration wiped a whole community that killed 12 policemen in Odi massacre and was letter told to pay ransom.
We need decisive leaders in this country not political gimmick players.
I could not agree more, tbh.
It doesn't matter what people might want to praise GEJ for, he was inept and incompetent.
It was his incompetence that fostered Buhari in, and now Tinubu.

Anyway, it is well.
Politics / Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Hausa(m): 5:41am On Feb 29
See nonsense back n forth useless argument with ndị Anambra and Abia.

All because of what?
Because Otti decided to show a capacity for will power? Something the people of Anambra haven't had since Ngige came into the scene to show us that a man will do something because he really wants to do it.

Not even Peter Obi or Obiano has shown the kind of will power Ngige showed.
The kind of will power Otti is showing is what we should be clamouring for as people of ndị-Anambra.
In our rich human resource, we have capacity. Yet the capacity and will power is not shown by our elected leaders but by business men, money launderers, and drug dealers who have stolen the show by building roads and putting street lights in many towns in Anambra.
Remove these guys and see what Anambra would've been by now.

Make una take una time here ooo!

There's no REAL development in Anambra and we're here worrying about Abia.
Nonsense!!!

Do you want to hear the truth and nothing but the truth?

Then listen.

Education is not a guarantee of a good job after.
Na for Nigeria we carry certificate put for head.
So after going to the university and graduating , what next? You come out and be competing with other graduates from both private , federal and state universities for the scarcely existing jobs?

For the business ish, you are not guaranteed success in this present day Nigeria. Existing businesses are packing up, they are not finding it easy. The clime is stiffening.

What is guaranteed is what you can do by yourself, running your own show.
And these can be either
1. Entertainment:
Here focus on content creation on SM (Social media) - YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook.
Get monetized and start earning guaranteed monthly earnings.
This is your but if the global cake domiciled on the web space.
2. Tech.
There are many digital skills you can learn to start chopping from the tech oiyel money.
If you are still young , I would suggest front end, back end, web development, DEVOPS, data analysis, UI/UX design,

3. Digital Business
You can as well consider e commerce like similar to Jumia, Konga, jiji, AliExpress.

You can use the dropshipping model.

You can invest in a good Phone / camera.
Then partner with different offline businesses, bring them online.
By taking good shots of their goods and upload on your sites.
Once you get an order, go pick it up and ship to the customer.

Actually there is money in TRADING. Buying and selling.
But don't make the mistake of stocking those goods yourself. Well except you are ready for the ups and downs of pricing.

If you have to stock goods, then start with mini importation from China.
Go on Facebook search for "Above Rubies" join her WhatsApp group. Study her model.
Then key in.

You can as well learn currency trading
- Forex
- Cryptocurrency
If you choose this, this is my advice. Spend money to register with a good trader in the state where you are.
Pay for mentorship.
Understudy him just like apprenticeship.
Then once you are good enough, use small money by funded account. Don't you ever use your own cash.
With $50-500, you can get a funded account of between $10,000 to , $100,000. With the help of your mentor, you can pass the challenge easily. Start trading under his guidance and calls. Profit sharing is 60:40 or 70:30 with you taking the higher %.

If you are thinking of tech and you are in Lagos , please look for ALX. Make a choice of one of their programs, bury your head inside it and start doing wonders.

Or you can look for serious & efficient boot camp.

Above all, seek the face of God to direct you.
And ensure you venture into what you are passionate about.

God's speed.

I'll be shocked not to see this get over a 100 Likes.
As an Igbo man that did not grow up in a business home (white-collar ish), I love business but I have really struggled to get a grip on exactly what to do.
Yet, the digital business thing seems to be a good idea.

And last last, you're correct.
The need for God to give direction is sacrosanct.

Thanks.

Again, veracity is needed.
I listened to Yakubu on TalkSports last week and he never mentioned anything about this.
The only thing he talked about was that he was training in boxing.
When asked if he'll want to fight anyone, he mentioned wanting to fight Rio Ferdinand.

Did he have another interview with TalkSports after that? I doubt it.
E be like na only Nigeria carry this news.

I think this is fake, as no player will talk that way about Salah.
Okocha and Adebayor cannot be on the list ahead on Salah. No way.

Freddie Kanoute sef was a far better player than Adebayor.

Very funny.

If we put facts into consideration, Salah should get into the World class list ahead of Jay-Jay Okocha.
It is facts talking, and not emotions.
