I have few suggestions
1. That we be patient regarding emails in respect of interview. I understand that interview is almost the last stage of recruitment process. It will be better not to be called than to be called and cancelled it later. We all know it is election season. Therefore the interview will likely hold after the elections. Perhaps in May, June or even July. Let's be calm and confident.
2. It will be best to drop the salary issue now. Though it is the major motivator to work, but it is not the only important determining factor. I am trying to say that this thread is not the ideal place for such questions. For me to attend such interviews is experience. I feel more confident now than the last interview I attended. Because I attended it. And I am far better now economically than during the last interview, cos I earned more quarter of million monthly. And I am considering their offer if given the chance.
Remember these just my humble opinions and not binding on any one. But this may take time.

I received the message and I thank God for that. But I am considering to refused to go for the interview. I am better of now than 2010, it still pains me of the transport money they promised me for the last interview and never paid.

July, 20th is last day for nnpc to recieve the acknowledgement/acceptance copy. So anyone that did not recieve his/her letter by that date should try to forget nnpc issue. Because even if they call you but did'nt recieve your acceptance, they will consider that as turning down the offer unless otherwise.
So 10 days to that day.

Count down to July, 20th.

before anybody starts thinking of ups, dhl or any other courier service, he supposed to find a way of confirming his name is in the list of successful candidates, that's what i think right now.
And any one that is opportune to get the list should please post even the number of candidates employed per state. that way those that know there were no candidate employed from their state will let go.

I am happy with the news that NNPC start calling the successful candidates. I have been offline for a while, but this afternoon (tuesday) a source told me that I should be expecting my letter. That made me to visit the great platform for information. I am happy for all of you out there that are employed. I hope my letter will also come.
I most admit that during the time we were waiting I enjoy the company of the active members of this thread.

What type of hope are you people talking about? I went to the towers last july 2011 after i covered closed to 500km. I thought i will be paid at the towers but... They can't even say 'sorry we cannot pay'. That would have been better. I personally lost hope in this exercise.

NNPC has advertise for job vacancies again. Closing date is March, 15th, 2012. This is at the career section of the nnpcgroup.com. Does this mark the end to the yet to be concluded, previous recruitment exercise? And since this time it seems to be inhouse exercise, is it a sign that the previous consultant have failed.
One thing i noticed in the advert is, the vacancies are different from the ones advertised last time.
I wish they will conclude the previous one. And I pray to be among those employed. Amin.

A friend told me that 604 candidates are shortlisted. And that the list have been sent to the federal character commission for approval. He said once approved, the succesful candidates will be served their appointment letters.
Those that are able, should kindly verify this.

The kind of information I would like most is someone to say 'hello guys i received my letter'. But that speculation - though is welcome - is not impressive.
Wishing us all the best.

This is a plain truth. Anyone can see it. And now before we talk of after the employment, let's talk on the process. Everyone will agree with me that the money needed to complete the recruitment is going to be more than what is spent till now. And this money issue is a matter of budget.
So I once more called upon the hopefulls and the otherwise to be patient.

I suggest we (concerned on nnpc interview result) should calm down, keep quite and continue praying. As reporting the issue to Mr. President will mean we do not believe the nnpc management can do their job. And this is certainly not a good beginning.
It is the duty of nnpc management to recruit when there is the need.
Let them do it the way they feel it is right, not the way we want it to be.
Surely, none of the candidate will be happy if employed to work for even six month with no salary.
But, that does not mean we cannot discuss the issue here.
This is just my view.

In other places social media greatly impact societies. Why not here in nigeria? We are lucky mr. President has more than one account in twitter alone. That is to show how much he care for the nigerians.

For me i believe the process is still on-going. And at the end some candidate will get through (i hope to be included). But i am also not going to reapplay for job with nnpc should this process is cancelled.
My advice is let,s be patience and keep praying.

I heard that emails have been sent to some of the successful candidates. But it is categorized this time; meaning nnpc will send the invitation in batches not as before.
Somebody among those invited should confirmed this story please.
