RomanceA Lesson From This Lockdown: Make Time For Your Family by Hautside(op): 3:12pm On Apr 30, 2020
Let’s face reality, the real reason most African marriages don’t last is because of the selfish nature of African men!!
Few months after marriage, we begin to run after footing bills and everything is just work! Work!! Money!! Money!!Money!!!
Listen, responsibility also entails making a happy family!! Your wife and children need you!! Yes, women love money but the truth is that they love attention more!!! After marriage, we confine our wives to play the role of nannies, house keepers and prayer warriors even when most of them have to go to their respective work places just like us!!!!
After work or weekends, we hook up with our friends and even family. some of us even hold meetings over “cold and sweating bottles”!!!
We deprive these women of their livelihood, all in the name of the word “marriage”
Uncle, Taking care of the children and the home should never be the sole role of women. It is a collective role and responsibility!!!
Most African men even stop their wives from seeing her family and child-hood friends all because of the word “Bad influence”. You won’t take her out and dont want her to hang out with friends. Hian. What’s thathuh?
Your wife had a life before marriage. She had a family and even friends. Stop depriving her of livelihood. Make time for your family. Make time for your wife. She is human and has blood running through her veins.
Every woman loves attention and that is their weakest part. Make time for your family today!!!!

This whole thing is to make u scared is easy to control scared people, because they can easily trade their freedom with security or health. Don't be scared especially if u are in Nigeria there's still no community spread only index cases. Even the index cases are getting well

PoliticsPlease Make Our Homes A Little Comfortable For Us by Hautside(op): 5:12pm On Mar 28, 2020
You asked us to stay home and we are home but the truth is that staying 24hours at home (in Nigeria )is just a little better than staying in the prison! There is no light, most of us eat from hand to mouth and even those who earn from the white collar jobs don’t earn enough to have savings. What do we eat? How long will our foodstuffs last? Where is the electricity to keep our perishable foods fresh in the freezer? How long can we survive this? This is killing!!!
Yes, We are home and we will continue to stay home but please make our homes a little comfortable for us. Give us atleast few hours electricity and some reliefs. For those who have enough, please show others some love.
Together, we will overcome this phase.

In this harsh economy of ours, while you are hustling, striving, working hard to make ends meet and succeed in life, please understand that you need to remain in good health and stay in the right state of mind.
It is true that you have not gotten to where you want to be but getting to where you are at the moment wasnt easy o!! If you look back, You will agree with me that you have tried!!!

At times, we need to appreciate ourselves. Give yourself a treat. Take yourself out. Eat a bowl of fish and step it down with a cold drink. stay blank and think of nothing.Enjoy nature. This is called refueling.
It is important to keep pushing for success, it is more important to be in the right state of mind and the most important thing is to remain alive.

FamilyLetter To Nigerian Parents... by Hautside(op): 11:51pm On Feb 06, 2020
I am going to shake tables!!!
Let me start with the Nigerian parents.
Please sir/ma,
Who gave the benchmark age for marriage as 30? Why is it that you start ringing the bell..”Go and marry” when a child is fast approaching that age? I still didn’t find in my holy books where this is a law or commandment!!!
Really, this push has made most people marry who is “available and ready” but not who they love. Some even married who they love but not at the right time!!!
“Most couples” are actually courting while in marriage!!! They bowed to pressure and then got admitted into the greatest institution of life(Marriage) with the plan that things will spice up with time. The gospel truth is that, after the delivery of the first child(when the “pseudo-love” diminishes), most homes fail the tests of love. This period is the most difficult period in a marriage!! This act of “age cautiousness, is making most people “suffering and smiling” presently in their marriages.
Things are not the same with the way they were in your days. Also, most didn’t consider a thing like genotype while making this lifetime decision then.
Listen, it is not age that qualifies a person for marriage but the biological, psychological, emotional, financial and spiritual readiness!!!!

Should I stop here for now??

Oh, some parents are asking “how about they want a grandchild or concerns of reaching menupose??

Should I answer thishuh?

Note, there are 3 perspectives to this post. Please read as
A Nigerian parent
As a “matured single”
As a young couple with her first child”

We are surviving..Most of us only eat a meal a day and support it with anything anything.(attimes you may be lucky to get beer in the night). intact, almost everybody is a graduate. LiteratureThe Obscurity Of Tomorrow... by Hautside(op): 4:35am On Oct 17, 2019
Waking up every morning and wrestling with the obscurity of what tomorrow brings, makes my heart beats faster than someone who has just completed a marathon race! I remember singing the song..."We are the future of tomorrow" but after over some decades now, tomorrow seems to be yesterday and looks like it will never come! Its a shame that we now pray for the little things that should be readily available. Even our "airs are no longer fresh".
Teenagers, who are supposed to dream, have not even fallen asleep because they are laying on empty stomachs.
Gone are those days we tremble when we hear a young lad being referred to as the "CEO" but these days, it has become a house-hold acronym and social media title for "all and sundry". They worked on our brains and have made us married "entrepreneurship" forcefully just because they failed to provide a home for our certificates. Those papers we spent atleast 20years to gather have now become what we keep under our beds. Infact, most of us dont even know where we kept them!!!
They keep telling us there is light at the end of the tunnel but this car doesn't even have a battery and her headlamps are faulty!
It keeps getting harder and harder. It is so difficult playing at home that we now rely on away matches to win. Infact, scoring an away goal these days comes with so much pains. We strive both "home and away"!!!
Most People are tired of playing and are just waiting for the final whistle...
What is the hope of the common man?? What is wrong with the black racehuh? #Tears Dropping#

PoliticsTo Every Politician In Nigeria.. by Hautside(op): 11:22am On Sep 26, 2018
To every politician in Nigeria. The past and present.

Are you human? Do you have conscience? If you do, you should know the havoc you have wrecked in this country with your selfishness and incompetence. So many lives are lost on our roads because of their bad States. So many lives are lost to insurgency because you did not get it right in terms of security. You need to visit our hospitals and see how your own people die because they have no access to basic health care facilities. Oh politicians, its a pity we have to pray to God for little things you are supposed to provide for us. Earthquake and tsunamis we have not, but having you lead and represent us is a curse! The only disaster we have in this country is man-made disaster!!!
You have changed the destinies of so many youths. You have made the strong, weak! You have destroyed homes. You have changed careers. Our females, who took pains to go to school, now flood the internet selling many kind of goods. Wigs, bed sheets, shoes, creams, soups and anything just to make sure they survive!! You pushed so many into prostitution, drugs and internet fraud. All these just because you are busy amassing wealth and fighting for power! We should be the leaders of tomorrow but what we have are over 65 years old power hungry people, jumping from one party to the other seeking power and trying to add more to their already filled pockets!!! As blessed as we are with crude oil, rich land for agriculture and other natural resources, an average Nigerian can hardly eat 2 times a day!! You should all bury your heads in shame!!! What comes to your minds when you fly in your private jets, drive around your exotic cars and the masses find it difficult to live?? People are dying!! Everyone is becoming frustrated everyday. Youths are jobless and even the ones with jobs have no savings! Oh Nigerian politicians, how do you sleep at night?? How do you feel when you get to the airports and see the number of future talents leave the country on a daily basis! How? ....Your children schooled abroad but there are not even enough microscopes in our laboratories.
Its so sad that ballot boxes can get to even the smallest village in the country but basic amenities cant! Funny, that we are constantly being fooled but remember that we are powerless and their is one person that is greater than all of us(God).

The living are complaining, the dead are crying but God is not sleeping.

You are blessed.

Most of those Pastors are pastoring for the devil over his (devil ) people to debase the name of Jesus Christ.

This congregations of the children of iniquity hate churches where they will be condemned for their sinful deeds and therefore go to churches where the devil is their lord and saviour.
They are receiving their rewards . They live in sin and want to reap blessings from God. God cannot be fooled.

THE MEMBERS ARE THOSE WHO :

Hate reading their Bibles,
Hate to hear sound doctrines,
Hate reproof
Love to dupe people,
Commit adultery and fornications in the name of grace,
Kidnappers , armed robbers, extortioners , embezzlers etc.

That is why they would rather prefer churches that can cope with their system of life.
So true
Christianity EtcThe "Sow A Seed" Trend In Churches. by Hautside(op): 7:08am On Aug 14, 2018
I am happy with how fast the "sow a seed" thing is trending on the social media. I grew up in one of the orthodox churches and for years I have been questioning this act. Yes, the bible says we should sow seeds. Infact, it says, if you sow big, you reap big and if you sow small, you reap small(2 cor 9 vs 6)...I believe in sowing seeds. Infact, the only thing I cant give is my wife. lol..

However, Something is wrong with the way its being done in our churches. It is wrong to call out amounts.Like.."I need 10 people to give us 1million each". Thats not sowing a seed! 2 Cor 9 vs 7 says you should not be compelled. give as you have decided and not with regrets! What I see in our churches is "Fund raising". In fact, Pastors invite guest pastors so as to raise funds! This is unacceptable.

Most people are hypocrities! Sow a seed so the bible says and not neccessirily sow a seed in the cchurch! It is a shame that most believers doesnt even know if their neighbours have eaten or paid their rents but they go out to give bountifully in the church. What happens to "Love your neighbour as yourself"??
I aint saying it is wrong to give to the church but your neighbour and family should come first.Yes, I said that!! The church should be more after the spiritual growth of her members and not be materialistic. The church should just name what she needs, announce to the congregation and people should give accordingly!

Your pastor flies in the air, your neighbours or family members need a car badly, but you went ahead to give your pastor one of your cars(Or even the only car) because of "eye service or you need connection". Brethen, you are a fool!! Proverbs 22 vs 16(GNT version) says..."If you make gifts to RICH people OR Oppress the poor to get rich, you will become poor yourself"

Sow seeds.Give to people randomly. Give to the church whatever you desire, visit the nearest hospital, you can save a soul. Pay you neighbour's Nepa bills .Ask your family how they are fairing. Dont sell your car for the church when your parent or siblings cant afford to feed!! God help us all.

A country whose president has a pass in English and failed mathematics. What comes to your mind? Education is not a guarantee to financial stability!! Education is just certification! It is a privilege. Creativity, hardwork, grace and Gods mercy brings success. Put your certificate aside. Put your brain to work!! Think of what you can do.Formal Education is just to give you a basis. Stop looking for 9-5 jobs. Uber drivers earn more than most graduates. Dont get this wrong, Education is good but we are in an insane world!! Go to school to better your life and not to be rich...Have you wondered why the best students are not always the richest? Before you attack me, read 2 Timothy 2:15....It says you should study to show yourself approved and not to be a bread winner.Be creative,be prayerful, have a working plan and be positive. For me, Formal Education is no longer the best legacy o.Gone are those days when you dream of wearing expensive shoes after you finally become a banker and secure a job in the bank. You failed to give us food... We resorted to 0-1-0 feeding system.

Go to Alaba, ladipo, Onitsha market, Ikeja along, Oshodi,Ojota,Aba, Daleko and you will know we are indeed lazy!!

You are just against building because of your personal bias which is None of your business in the first place. They need a bigger auditorium not you. [/quote

i am not bias. You are the one who doing the job of a lawyer. I am never again building a new auditorium. I only said instead of having to rebuild again and again, why not make a permanent provision! If the current church can accommodate 100k people, why not build the one that can accommodate 2million at once since the land is readily available. Thats wisdom.

Lol it is easier said when you don't live in Ota. Already there is traffic for about half of the entire Sunday. If you make the service to run till evening, people including Ota resident would not be able to move anywhere till midnight.

Yet the Church says it does not have the mandate to branch into Lagos so we would have to continue to big bigger structures-mind you the money it would cost to set up branches in Lagos might collectively be very humongous also.
Then Let the church make a provision for 5 million capacity once and for all!! I am just against building and re-building. If Solomon was a Nigerian, He would have abandoned the old auditorium and keep building bigger ones!!!!

Who is Elisha, Ezekiel and co? They were flesh and blood like we are and we have seen the mighty works of God in our days than in their time.

You lack understanding like you have said in your post, read your bible more if indeed you are christian or accept Jesus in your life if you haven't done so to cure your ignorance
No!! You should read tour bible and not try to defend the defendless or try to use the bible only for those things that favour you! If Elisha and co are flesh, Are your pastors not also flesh! I dont get your point. Did you not read 1 timothy 1-7? Verse 3 said he must not love money but almost ALL our pastors want to be rich!! whats that??

3 This is a true saying: If a man is eager to be a church leader, he desires an excellent work. 2 A church leader must be without fault; he must have only one wife,[a] be sober, self-controlled, and orderly; he must welcome strangers in his home; he must be able to teach; 3 he must not be a drunkard or a violent man, but gentle and peaceful; he must not love money 4 he must be able to manage his own family well and make his children obey him with all respect. 5 For if a man does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of the church of God? 6 He must be mature in the faith, so that he will not swell up with pride and be condemned, as the Devil was. 7 He should be a man who is respected by the people outside the church, so that he will not be disgraced and fall into the Devil's trap.

Defending the church again!!! If there can be 5 services, there can also be 10 services. Infact, the whole Sunday can be for service and there will be no need building another auditorium. Secondly living faith owns just one jet.
Missionary schools in Nigeria were sponsored by Missionaries.. Get the facts...Mission schools, which since the 1800s offered free or low-cost education to the majority of Nigeria's youth, were nationalized after the West African nation's civil war ended in 1970 in an attempt to defuse tribalism

The government had to take charge of these schools later.

False! Solomon built the temple of God out of materials prepared by his father based on what people gave and out of taxes.

Read 1 chronicles 29:3 -10 and 1 kings 9:15 down
NO!! No!! NO!!!.....1 chronicles 29 was talking about Davids failed attempt to build the temple

in 1 Kings 9...King Hiram only offered gifts to help and Solomon gave him things in return...In verse 15, The "Levy" the KJV was reffering to was "Forced Labors" and not material things....Here is the text....1 king 9...(Good news Version) Always read good news version for better understanding..It is just straight to the point!

Solomon's Agreement with Hiram
10 It took Solomon twenty years to build the Temple and his palace. 11 King Hiram of Tyre had provided him with ALL the cedar and pine and with ALL the gold he wanted for this work. After it was finished, King Solomon gave Hiram twenty towns in the region of Galilee. 12 Hiram went to see them, and he did not like them. 13 So he said to Solomon, “So these, my brother, are the towns you have given me!” For this reason the area is still called Cabul. 14 Hiram had sent Solomon almost five tons of gold.

15 King Solomon used forced labor
to build the Temple and the palace, to fill in land on the east side of the city, and to build the city wall. He also used it to rebuild the cities of Hazor, Megiddo, and Gezer. (16 The king of Egypt had attacked Gezer and captured it, killing its inhabitants and setting fire to the city. Then he gave it as a wedding present to his daughter when she married Solomon, 17 and Solomon rebuilt it.) Using his forced labor, Solomon also rebuilt Lower Beth Horon, 18 Baalath, Tamar in the wilderness of Judah, 19 the cities where his supplies were kept, the cities for his horses and chariots, and everything else he wanted to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and elsewhere in his kingdom. 20-21 For his forced labor Solomon used the descendants of the people of Canaan whom the Israelites had not killed when they took possession of their land. These included Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, whose descendants continue to be slaves down to the present time.

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////
You can also read 1 King 6...

Solomon Builds the Temple
6 In the four hundred and eightieth[a] year after the Israelites came out of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, the second month, he began to build the temple of the Lord.

2 The temple that King Solomon built for the Lord was sixty cubits long, twenty wide and thirty high.

Thanks @statsocial as usual.
It is funny when some individuals accuse churches for not getting rid of poverty among people.
Where exactly I should begin to lecture such people, I seem not to know, and as such, in most cases I'd rather distance myself from arguing with any.

But to hit it straight and head-on, the Owner of the church, Jesus Himself, didn't cure poverty of all the poor souls when He came.
What those people who argue in favour of the poor don't know is that, even the poor have a Scripture that 'justifies' their existence, but it is individual's choices to belong and then remain poor.
Deuteronomy 15:11 says the poor will always be in the land; God Himself said this, so anyone trying to fight the church for not making all the poor in the land rich should take the fight to God, and this same Scripture Jesus indirectly quoted saying you would always have the poor among you in John 12:8.

In Proverbs, it is said that the poor and the rich meet together, and that God made them both, not that God made them so.
It would never be possible that there won't be poor people on earth again, BUT it is always possible that you choose by yourself not to be poor or remain poor.

With all the billions in the country, why couldn't the government just share the money to everyone, so that there won't be any poor man again?
Kiyosaki painted what would happen if any government would ever do that to her citizens some years ago; he said before long, the money in the hands of those with choice or mentality of poverty will find its way back in the pocket of those who know how to attract money by offering solutions to problem.
To be poor is a state of life, to remain poor is a choice of life.

Summarily, Church can't terminate poverty in the lives of every countrymen for the reasons God alone knows according to Scriptures, but individuals have the number one choice to remain in penury. For example, that you give offering and tithe doesn't even mean you will still be very rich, there are many more laws that control riches than just giving money. Many Christians also miss it here and should blame their poverty on ignorance of how things work.
Ofcourse there will always be the poor. Even in Jesus's days, there were poor folks(The widow with the best offering)... But, agree with me, most of the churches are profit oriented!!!! They do things, not for the masses, but to get profits!!! What happens to the expensive universities? when most of these pastors went to free missionary schools?? Dont just talk about standard or cost of maintenance here because missionary schools were the best and were maintained....We as Christians should learn to ask questions and not just follow churches the way we follow football clubs. Jesus never had a personal Donkey, He rode on a donkey for a purpose,Call it chattered but he never owned one!! Why will a pastor own 1,2,3,4 jets?? Warren Buffet who is even more busy than these pastors, never ever own a Private Jet!!!...Let me rest here!!!

There were poor people in existense when Solomon spent possibly billions on building the Temple. God did not leave heaven to start living inside the temple. However God himself commended Solomon for the project. Anything that bears the name of God must be splendid! and by the way it is not a yearly project. It is a once in a life time project so it should be done well enough. For a Church building a 500 Billion Naira city for themselves-50 billion is surely a small amount to appropriate for their church building.

Living Faith is a Super Wealthy Global Ministry and they phase the Church in 50 years. They are currently running a plan to 2032 which started in 1982 or so-you had better make peace or you would simply get more angry. The plans i have seen for the next few years are bold and massive. For example Living Faith must build 85,000 housing units more in addition to canaancity before 2032.

Lastly to those mentioning industrialization- the Church money isn't Nigeria's money only. We can't use income of worshippers in Ghana, US, UK, Kenya, Congo, South Africa etc to come and build industries for you. The last i know Ghanians have started accusing Living FAITH of building universities in Nigeria only. pls face your govt and hold them responsible for all your problems. Leave the church out of it.....

Source lol. When it comes to Churches in Nigeria especially Pentecostals I am a source to the source grin
Did Solomon do a"fund raising"huh Was he a Pastor or prophet? How many Men of God was rich in the bible? Even Jesus wan born in a manger and to a carpenter... Solomon built the temple with "his personal money" ..Till date, he is the richest man in the world!!!

If I ask you.."Why are Nigerian Pastors rich"...You will tell me that as a christian, you are entitled to the good things of life but...

Read this: Matt 19 vs 23...Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is difficult for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

Please leave Freeze alone! Everyone has a right to his opinion. Stop following churches as if you are following a football club. Ask questions!! In Jesus's days, when the church wasn't doing it right, he never went to pray or mind his business but HE DROVE THEM OUT!!!!

This part of the world, we attach too many spirituality to everything! Timothy was told to take alcohol because of his stomach ulcer!! He was never told to pray!! Most people have slight headache and instead of using paracetamol before praying, they start speaking in tongue. Dont be deceived... Read the bible passages below and be blessed..

Matt 24 v 4.... Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

Matt 24 v 24...24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

Defend the Church by criticizing the church...bro, that is not defend. That is exposing the church to the world, which was one of the main reason why Christianity failed in Turkey.

The Bible says; 'the weapon of our warfare is not carnal', it not talking, it not arguing, it not criticizing. Our weapon is (in this case), praying.

What is the position of FRZ and his like in fighting spiritual warfare? Maybe he doesn't even know what spiritual warfare means; has he ever organize state crusade or national crusade to pray for the church?

Bro if you are a christian, then wake up! Just as our weapon of warfare is not carnal, so it is with satan, his weapons of war aren't carnal either, and one of the ways he's fighting against Christianity in Nigeria today is true this knowledge emanating here and there.

The Bible says; A city divided against itself in civil war can not stand...

Just imagine the way Christians are against themselves in this nation, what happens if the other religion raises against us? I tell you, Satan is fighting us, and one of his weapon is FRZ and his ideas.
In as much as I want to recon with you, I still want you to know where I am coming from. Yes, It is best to Pray but even the bible says Faith without work is death!! Jesus could have as well prayed then but he took to actions. Maybe the social media is not the right way to go about this but the truth is that most Christians are like Arsenal fans. They just follow whether right or wrong. Most dont ask questions. As Christians, we should ask questions. Demand to know how the church is being ran. Dont Just pray, Act!! Ask questions. The church is losing it.Christians should wake up. Jesus please take the wheel!!!

Please note that this quote is for the guy with the longer post. I just added the other guys because the reply is almost related. no offense please

IT alright bro...But Note:
1. You are not the Holy Spirit that directs the church
2. The synagogue is not same as the church
3. you are not Christ who chase men out of the Synagogue, you don't have His Wisdom and Devin understanding.
4. Jesus did not make anyone of us Judge of the affairs of His church, because we are not Him. His judgement is perfect, but yours and mine is not perfect.
5. Talking about following Jesus; Criticizing others is not part of it, which is my Stand.

Leave the Church Alone!!! You and FRZ your father are neither Christ nor the Holy Spirit
Paul also made some corrections by telling women to keep shut it the church. Was he against the church? Does he have the wisdom of Jesus?
You dont need Jesus' Wisdom to know what is wrong or right in the church. The truth is that most Nigeria churches cant be defended. We will not leave the church alone because we also have the right to defend "Christianity"(The religion which the church is supposed to preach)..We will not wait until it gets out of hand. During the days of Paul, Turkey was a christian country but when the church got it wrong, Turkey lost it. You can google turkey, It was once a christian country. We will defend Christianity in Nigeria!!! It is what the bible says and not what your pastor says!!!!
