Politics / Re: Is This Really The ''first Storey Building In Nigeria''? by Hauwa1: 2:44pm On Jun 25, 2010
ROSSIKE:

Naijamini, I'm a bit more optimistic regarding our present and future, Across Africa, believe it or not, and by all indices and statistics, poverty is actually falling year on year, as are illiteracy, disease, conflicts etc.

umm, thanks to the white man's country (dollars/pound being sent is really helping don't you think?)
thanks to the white man's method of education, medicine and conflict resolution. africa is indeed doing well undecided

Military rule is now anathema. The continent's economy has grown at something like 7.5% annually for the last ten years, the fastest growth rate since independence. The middle class has expanded greatly, with their higher purchasing power leading to unprecedented demand for consumer goods across the continent.

15 years ago not less than 20 conflicts raged across the continent. Today that number is down to the ones and twos, which shows growing continental capacity in conflict resolution, an essential requirement for the stability that leads to development,

So there is a steady climb to progress, make no mistake. It's just not happening as noticeably fast as most would like it to.

I project that Africa in the next 20 years would be a much improved place.

Politics / Re: Tribute To Nigerian Military In Pictures by Hauwa1: 3:30pm On Jun 15, 2010
so unfortunate . . . you are right ol' soldier. no need to show off old weapons when they cant take care of human beings. you guys should fight for it.
an american soja when retired will continue to earn half of his retirement pay. some go back to work with the govt (collecting pay and retirement pay), some go back to school fully paid for (housing included). honestly, it is sad to hear that nig soja still queue up to collect their pension.

those toy weapons sef grin

i am wondering which hole the poster creep out from. here we are . . . trying to move forward with the dawn of the century, here is this one trying to draw us back. shocked shocked you must have gone to the university in the village grin grin

IkeLike:

we have built the african civilization that you females so arrogantly take for granted for-- along with all the luxuries you enjoy today.

If it werent for the black man, many of you would not be here!

We, as men in general are sick of the attitude we recieve from ungrateful women of today!

Women have forgotten their place.

We all need to adopt Arab Islam and have THEM show you and other disrespectful, man-hating, boisterous, uncouth, and ill-mannered women what REAL servitude, honor and RESPECT to their men is all about!

you mean the kitchen? isn't it too hot in there? i pity the lady who will accept your hands in marriage, tongue
