alezzy13: Well better late than never. But this something almost every other firm has been operating since Thanks for sharing this, I've just had a look and it looks good. You mentioned other firms are already doing this, could you please mention the other reputable ones? It'll be nice to have a single place to trade treasury bills, bonds as well as Index/ETFs. I downloaded I-invest but the 10% withholding tax put me off since I can avoid these charges by doing my T. Bills directly through the bank. I also struggled with the customer service when I needed my account deleted and this also concerned me. Please any recommendation of a reputable platform that is comparable to BluNest would be highly appreciated. Also, is BluNest replacing the other Stanbic investment account platform? |

Interesting post. Investment choice can be quite personal and one must consider his/her risk appetite. For example, some prefer Treasury bills for its liquidity, minimal risk and hands free benefit. Still, you raise some good points and it'll be interesting to do some real financial calculations to compare it with other investments and share. Personally, I have found this thread of immense use and I thank my brothers and sisters who give their time to share their knowledge, experience and expertise - FOR FREE. Educationalserv: Plans was to grow Money to 200,000 USD then Exit Assumption made was Floating Naira will Converge Naira @ 700 as Predicted by Economic Magazine ,world bank and Co by reinvesting 100m in TB @ 16 for 24 Months will amounts to about 140m /700 = 200 USD Instead we where Scammed Now FGN is Using 1500 to USD I need 2 years to get back to 100k USD = 160m naira But it a Lie the Naira is Sliding to 1660 by time am exiting might have on 70 k USD This Grand waste of time and money. This Thread Should be Closed This Not progressive Investment! Please Closed down Now |

People need to feel save wherever it is that they chose to work!!! Few people like this could make life easier for those who are facing the same problems. Someone has got to challenge such situations! I must say that I hope he has a back up plan and I pray it works well for him. |

I agree that alienware make some serious gaming Pc. I was thinking of the M17x laptop or building a desktop one myself since it could also be used for daily computing activities and games can be downloaded for free using torrent sites! |

lagerwhenindoubt: Man is a clear example of a traveling vagabond when it comes to religion. It is unfortunately true (to say the least) that Man is a Beast for Gods. He is constantly seeking meaning, purpose and guidance from a higher power, an all-knowing,all-powerful, all-forgiving and all-everything cosmic entity to replace the void of uncertainty in the chaotic world he has found himself.
When a Man converts to any religion, one must look at this event as a very important and fundamental decision regarding the very pillars of faith he once believed (or barely believed in) and lived by all his life. (until the moment of TRUTH). It is not easy to be born into a religion and later discover TRUTH and convert. it is nearly as significant as been born (again) itself.
I always find it refreshing to hear of religious conversions, it can only mean that the individual has evolved from one level of socio-psychological consciousness to another in search of the TRUTH. while the TRUTH itself is no farther from us than our nose is from our face, it takes a good majority of the world's teeming billions to find it and ultimately they will discover the TRUTH through multiple conversions across different religions (agreeable and contradictory) before they come to the simple knowledge that:
Religion is a global phenomenon with a singular origin and that origin is not necessarily God or some divine cosmic entity (God is a product of religion and not the other way round) but rather the collective sub-conscious consensus that man has over centuries built to provide Balanced Reasoning and Intelligence sufficient to guarantee his continual survival in a world he is gradually coming to understand. Ultimately the fortunate (discerning) few will dispense of mythological and nonsensical references in religious texts and assimilate only important TRUTHS. only then can an individual truly be at one with the cosmos. Real recognize real! Greetings to you my brother, may the eternal light continue to shine on your path. |

I can see where a lot people here are coming from though, some chicks see it as their right after sometime, some still go ahead and chea which might mean the guy need to up the money a bit, lol, some tell him straight up they're moving on with a richer guy It's a bit complicated like relationships themselves! But if not paying, paying late or paying less causes any trouble, I'll suggest moving on!!! |

I feel you! But I'll like to agree looking at it from the point that it's not compulsory! Financial stability is different from individual to individual! If you can afford it & you don't want the stress of asking/giving all the time, you might as well! Probably will work out cheaper than giving, giving & giving, lol |

@ Londoner: You might have met some brilliant Ghana guys, fair enough! It doesn't mean they are better than Nigerian guys or we are better! I'm sure some ladies have had good experiences with Nigerian guys too! I have a female Ghanaian friend who looks decent to the world but really promiscuous but she isn't enough for me to say ghana girls are sluts!!!
One thing I did notice in this country is that when people date outside of their race, tolerance is increased among both parties as cultural differences are already expected! |

The Nigerian embassy in London is truly behind in a lot of ways! However, Nigerians who visit should also STOP harassing the workers! It only made the whole thing worse especially in the eye of non-Nigerians who were there as well! There is no doubt that some of the workers are rude and crude but most Nigerians who visit still have the uncivilized way of approaching issue and it makes the place so rowdy! THIS IS ENGLAND, whatever it is that you can't do to a McDonald staff, don't go ahead and do it to embassy workers! It makes us all look silly! |
