dubaiprince:
I am sorry but the reasons the OP gave are not logical (it is clearly stated that it is your opinion tho). In my own opinion, I will use UK as an example. I was taking home about 536,000 monthly with a wife and 3 kids. The money was just okay for us to live conviently I.e pay rent, school fees, eat and maintain the car. No spare money to save to even continue with my building project and I learnt things are even worse now due to inflation. I moved to the UK alone last month and even though my room is about 800 pounds a month, i am still even doing what I was doing back home in a better way and still saving about 1500 pounds a month.

Hoping my wife and kids join me soon. though my rent will increase cos I will need to move to a bigger apartment but I will no longer pay school fees for a while and I can still save1000.

Relatively, basic things are affordable and accessible compared to the minimum wage in developed countries. You are right with things like loneliness but I have come to realise that our social life in Nigeria make us spend money on unwarranted things. My opinion.
The OP is delirious!

I know Nursing Assistants in 'the abroad' that have numerous properties back home in Nigeria.

All from carrying piss and shit!

If you have a good saving culture and can hustle, you or bad-as-it-bad, your Children have a better chance at a better life.

I have seen many children of immigrants from the third World, now seating at the table of relevance, with the real owners of the land.

...Somalians, Eritreans, Mauritians, and Asians, even Nigerians!
Countries you might not have thought of much before, now have many of their descendants doing great things in the West.

If you don't migrate because of yourself, migrate because of your Children.
If you don't end up getting to 'live the life,' your children have a better chance of doing so.

Nigeria as it stands, has casted, and it will not get better soon!

3.2. Poor R-wave progression and infarct size
Among 53 patients with prior anterior MI, 33 patients had PRWP, and the remaining 20 patients did not (Table 2). ECG and SPECT images in cases of the presence or absence of PRWP are shown in Fig. 1. Patients with PRWP had larger sum of defect score (17.5 ± 8.6 vs 7.6 ± 10.3, p < 0.001) and lower LVEF (46.1 ± 9.8% vs 55.2 ± 12.9%, p < 0.01) than those without. The sum of R-wave in lead V1 to V6 inversely correlated with the sum of defect score (r = − 0.56, p < 0.001), and positively correlated with left ventricular ejection fraction (r = 0.45, p < 0.001) (Fig. 2).

Abstract
Background
Regeneration of R-wave or disappearance of Q-wave sometimes occurs after myocardial infarction (MI) especially in the coronary intervention era. We assessed the impact of poor R-wave progression (PRWP) or residual R-wave in precordial leads on myocardial infarct size in patients with prior anterior MI treated with coronary intervention.

Methods
Fifty-three patients with prior anterior MI and 20 age- and sex-matched patients without underwent electrocardiogram (ECG), myocardial perfusion single photon emission tomography (SPECT) and echocardiography. Poor R-wave progression (PRWP) was defined as RV3 ≤ 3 mm.

Results
R-wave was significantly lower in all precordial leads in patients with prior anterior MI than those without. Among 53 patients with prior anterior MI, 33 patients had PRWP, and the remaining 20 patients did not. Patients with PRWP had larger sum of defect score (17.5 ± 8.6 vs 7.6 ± 10.3, p < 0.001) and lower left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) (46.1 ± 9.8% vs 55.2 ± 12.9%, p < 0.01) than those without. The sum of R-wave in lead V1 to V6 inversely correlated with the sum of defect score (r = − 0.56, p < 0.001), and positively correlated with LVEF (r = 0.45, p < 0.001).

Conclusion
Our data suggested that residual R-wave during the follow-up period reflected myocardial infarct size and left ventricular systolic function well in patients with prior anterior MI treated with coronary intervention.

i predict MI by ST segment elevation or depression or abnormalities in Lead V1 like say in V1 the R wave is bigger than the Q wave. I also look at the R wave progression and expect it to turn positive at v3 and v4. I also look at PR interval if greater than 20mm , I also look at QRS wave complex if greater than 12 mm etc etc etc. I have about 20 protocols i follow. also inverted T wave or a biphasic p wave etc

with stroke obviously there will be a rhythm abberation and follow that with blood pressure monitoring as the pressure increases to compensate for the lack of efficiency due to a compromised artery ( blocked ) etc etc. The pumping pressure has to be compensated for during an abberation and so we do blood pressure monitoring with the ecg to determine stroke risk
But you sef bros, you are sounding like a Quack o!

You can't predict MI. You can only read an MI while it is happening or shortly after it has happened. This is due to ST elevation. 72 hours after an MI, you can't see the rhythm anymore on an EKG, hence a troponin serum test is carried out. So exactly how you want to PREDICT it is what baffles me. embarassed

As for the second paragraph you wrote, I have no idea what you're talking about. High blood pressure means a myriad of things.

Seems like you are a technician that got half-baked training on using an EKG and BP machine and are acting like a predictor of cardiac conditions.

My brother continue....
So you can't see Pathological Q waves after 72 hours?

...and Troponins are done after 72 hours?!

ALEX182:
Hemorrhagic stroke is more deadly because of bleeding in the brain and the compression of the brain by the bleeding. If immediate intervention isn't carried out, death is sure. This condition usually leaves it survivors with permanent disabilities.

Myocardial infarction or heart attack on the other hand is less fatal even without intervention. But the problem with a heart attack is that the part of the heart that doesn't receive blood flow due to ischemia becomes less functional. This eventually leads to heart failure and eventually death in the long run. This process may take years too.
MI is less fatal?!

Very much on point, Poco.

I wonder how people live with themselves knowing they stink. We humans have natural odor, and our daily activities can intensify the emanation. But it is up to us to take care of ourselves and buy products for hygiene, as well as deodorants.

Like these things are usually cheap, yet most people will rather spend their money on suya and beer. Tell me, why won't they stink.

My younger brother stinks to the high heavens, yet I haven't summoned the courage to confront him and not make him feel bad about it.

You sleep in the bed with someone who's always smelling fresh and always tidies the room, yet you don't bother learning one thing or two. I mean this guy smells so bad that I have to tell him to stop spreading his worn clothes on the hanger.

Hygiene is heaven, which is why I love my girlfriend die. You won't believe I even sniff her whenever we're together — from her hair to down there. grin I love cleanliness, and that's her watchword.

Deodorants can't even help most people. They have to be clean first and not feel attacked when corrected.
Bless God for my Mum.
She didn't mince words with us growing up.

She tells you straight up in Yoruba,' why is your armpit smelling like this?'
' why is your mouth stinking like this?'

I started using deodorant when I was still in primary school...

Please, you shouldn't hide from your Brother, tell him straight up!

It's embarrassing at work when people start taking about people that stink-- meaning people notice.

Better you tell him now than some outsider insults him over it.
