No. The mortality rate is way low.

[url][www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-url]

Mind you it was specifically designed to cull Chinese by attacking their inner lungs. A Cameroonian kid survived the coronavirus like it was a 3 day flu!
But that link isn't working!
Children and adults younger than 50, not just from Africa, seem not to be experiencing the nastier effects of the virus. Nearly all of the people who have ended up in hospitals with complications; and the dead are old people. Older adults are particularly strongly adviced to stay indoors!

Check why Italy and China, esp Wuhan province have reported the most mortality rates. Check the demography of those places.

'Quality sex'
Haba Nairaland MODs, make una fear God. How do you know the quality of the sex

Meanwhile, some African countries (most notably Zimbabwe and Kenya) and the way they react to sex is really really appalling.

Africans needs proper sex education. Infact, sex education should be a compulsory course for both secondary school students and tertiary institution students. Imagine 'sex education 101'
Just wondering, how is reaction to sex (by Kenyans and Zimbabweans....your examples) an indication of lack of sex education?
I think u Nigerians in fact get more titillated by sex stories even more than those countries u have mentioned, given how u folks react to sex stories on NL.

I am a Kenyan, and I can confidently tell u that sex education very much exists in our school curriculum, given the cases of STIs, sexual abuses and early pregnancies prevalent in the country in an attempt to arrest the problems.

There is no need for essay competitions here.Your 3.5 million are starving to death! Yes starving to death! Poor kenyans

The operating word in that headline is "May", meaning unless something is done about the situation, the 3.5m people would starve. But did 3.5million Kenyans really starve? No, cos our govt always has contingency measures to offset the situation, mainly by stockpiling foods from various places including your poor, malnourished Tanzania.....

1. You earned far less than us in tourism.

2. FDi is pouring to tanzania than in ur kenya.I know it hurts u..but thats life; a bitter pill to swallow hey

1. because our tourism sector was devasted by waves of terror attacks by the Somalia's Al shabaab militants. But Kenya's tourism prior to the terror attacks was among the big 4 in Africa.

2. And isnt Kenya among the top four biggest investors in Tanzania? Kenya and South Africa have invested in sectors such as retail, banking, insurance, hotels, manufacturing etc, unlike the the Uk, China and Canada who are only there to exploit your mineral and gas. A huge bulk of fdi ic concentrated in the mining sector, which u have in very big quantities, second only to the DRC, yet you are listed among the world's poorest and least developed countries.

Ghana is one of the few African countries with reputation other countries in the continent can only dream of. Do not taint your positive reputation because of some few Nigerian/ foreign criminals in your country. Let the law prevail.

Long and short is, Nigeria has hope where Kenya is then, corrupt leader wise.

He made his money not by stealing from public coffers, but from his wide array of businesses including public transport vehicles, hotels, boutiques, salons, real estate etc.
His dad was actually a millionaire himself.

He entered the politicals stage quite recently- in 2011 as member of parliament at the age of 35, was already that rich, adorning all that 'bling'.

You must be a fool. And you know what, you have answered my question already in your comments. If you spend 5k rupees which is equivalent to 50k naira in Nigeria as you stated for self contain in Mauritius. It shows Nigeria's currency which is naira has higher value than rupees because average rent of self contained apartment in Nigeria is between 10k-15k per month with good facilities .

You must be an illiterate if you think in this lifetime Mauritius can ever be compared to Nigeria. I am sure the GDP of my state in Nigeria, Edo state is still far ahead of Mauritius. If you want me to give you statistics to back my claims, holla at me. I have travelled to several countries in Africa and I repeat none is in Nigeria league except south Africa. Why do you think it is only south Africa companies among Africa countries that is able to penetrate into Nigeria market? Do you know the number of countries in Africa our indigenous companies has expanded into?

Lawd have mercy, if this is the calibre of economists we have Nigeria.

you're cherry picking facts from your favourite blogs. Let me hit you with reality; you're not going to like this.

Africa's big 5 powerful and influential are Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Algeria and Libya. This countries sustain the African Union paying 66% of the financial burden of the union.

The other 34% comes from foreign donors. Libya's loss of Gadaffi will easily be filled by Kenya.

This why only Nigeria, south Africa and Egypt are gunning for Africa's permanent security seat at the UN.

This is why there's a gentleman's agreement that certain countries in the big 5 cannot occupy certain positions in the AU because of their power and influence.

Kenya is not a privy to any of these agreements because she's just an average player in the committee of African affairs.

No country with a #70 billion economy will command any influence beyond it's domestic frontiers.

You are a very foolish person to debate with.

No take a look at that screenshot below and see the countries that are sustaining you.

Kenya is a smaller country than Nigeria, not endowed oil and othr lucrative minerals, yet it is the 8th biggest economy in the comtinent.

You are so much into numbers. Kenya has a gdp of 76bn$ and with a population of 43mln, can u compare its gdp per capita with that of Nigeria? (Not Lagos please, Nairobi has a larger gdp per capita than Lagos!)

Kenya is a lower mid- income country, ranked thus for a reason.

Now, speaking of financial contributions to world bodies...

No one has time reading from your long effort of Google rape.

Kenya shouldn't be on the maps if you aren't so poor and let your wild animals roam free until some British animal loving tourists decided to house them and feed you in the process.

Nigeria has more tentacles on the continent and beyond more than Kenya can ever hope.

With a #70 billion dollar economy, you're a worthless, inconsequential and disposable burdensome log on Africa's collective match to economic liberalisation.

Writing long strained efforts bothering Google's servers can't change the fact that you're Africa's backwater country by all measurement.

* No economic clout
* No political power
* No strong international presence
* No military presence
* No global firm

All there is to Kenya is just animal reserves.

Keep the lame pretence going.

All that is your opinion my friend, not facts.

Nigeria is not more influential than Kenya on the continental arena, leave alone globally.
