kikuyu1:But that link isn't working! Children and adults younger than 50, not just from Africa, seem not to be experiencing the nastier effects of the virus. Nearly all of the people who have ended up in hospitals with complications; and the dead are old people. Older adults are particularly strongly adviced to stay indoors! Check why Italy and China, esp Wuhan province have reported the most mortality rates. Check the demography of those places. |

Sabby1:Just wondering, how is reaction to sex (by Kenyans and Zimbabweans....your examples) an indication of lack of sex education? I think u Nigerians in fact get more titillated by sex stories even more than those countries u have mentioned, given how u folks react to sex stories on NL. I am a Kenyan, and I can confidently tell u that sex education very much exists in our school curriculum, given the cases of STIs, sexual abuses and early pregnancies prevalent in the country in an attempt to arrest the problems. |

Kazikazi: The operating word in that headline is "May", meaning unless something is done about the situation, the 3.5m people would starve. But did 3.5million Kenyans really starve? No, cos our govt always has contingency measures to offset the situation, mainly by stockpiling foods from various places including your poor, malnourished Tanzania..... 2 Likes |

And seriously, last year 78% of Tanzanians were going hungry, and here u are talking about feeding Kenya? https://allafrica.com/stories/201703020574.html Similar report by your 'own' newspaper (a major Tanzanian English newspaper, subsidiary of Kenyan media company....we dominate you in every way) http://www.thecitizen.co.tz/News/78pc-of-people-affected-by-food-shortages--study/1840340-3833436-bf4lbgz/index.html Friend, we buy your maize and rice. Kazikazi: 1. because our tourism sector was devasted by waves of terror attacks by the Somalia's Al shabaab militants. But Kenya's tourism prior to the terror attacks was among the big 4 in Africa. 2. And isnt Kenya among the top four biggest investors in Tanzania? Kenya and South Africa have invested in sectors such as retail, banking, insurance, hotels, manufacturing etc, unlike the the Uk, China and Canada who are only there to exploit your mineral and gas. A huge bulk of fdi ic concentrated in the mining sector, which u have in very big quantities, second only to the DRC, yet you are listed among the world's poorest and least developed countries. 5 Likes 1 Share |

He entered the politicals stage quite recently- in 2011 as member of parliament at the age of 35, was already that rich, adorning all that 'bling'. |

Fearlez: Kenya is a smaller country than Nigeria, not endowed oil and othr lucrative minerals, yet it is the 8th biggest economy in the comtinent. You are so much into numbers. Kenya has a gdp of 76bn$ and with a population of 43mln, can u compare its gdp per capita with that of Nigeria? (Not Lagos please, Nairobi has a larger gdp per capita than Lagos!) Kenya is a lower mid- income country, ranked thus for a reason. Now, speaking of financial contributions to world bodies...
