Very provocative, very stupid question. |
Tetraozonaitera:Will you shut up, you clown. If not that you're a hypocrite, you should worry more about exactly how much your Yoruba god Tinubu is worth and how he made the money. |
Typographical error of course. N9b, she meant, not $9b. But this whole report stinks like fake news. Because anybody who believes that a mere minister can steal $9b is extremely stupid. |
simpleseyi:Your smelly father is goatluck, you this disgusting Yoruba rodent. Fool. |
Benwallt:Your progenitors and the ugly drug soaked bastard parading himself as Yoruba president are the most useless buffoons that ever lived. How about that? Why not hide your useless face in shame, worthless vermin? |
God1000:Yes, self-respect and dignity are compatible with self aggrandisement. Akpaabio didn't resign as Senator to become Minister of Niger Delta just to be more relevant. It was because he is a shameless looter. Same with Dave Umawhatever who forfeited the senatorial seat to become Minister of Works. It is all about the large budget. The money. No self respect. No shame. |
God1000:Shows he has a modicum of self-respect and dignity. Only shameless thieves and money hungry looters (like Akpaabio and Co) would resign as a senator to become a minister. Then again, it depends on the portfolio. Maybe greed wouldn't have allowed him resign if he was assigned to the FCT minister position, or other similar 'juicy' portfolio. |
Safe to say that the marriage is over . |
Is it just travelling by night? I learnt it is even worse during the day. |
When "slots" have been shared among government officials and politicians. |
GO0DHardDick:Funny but true. Even this Abuja sef that is our capital, dem no dey go like that. They only sojourn to Abuja in large numbers when their 'brother' is the president. It happened during Obasanjo's time, and it is happening now. Taxi drivers, artisans, and others in that category. Other than those, it is only federal civil servants or corpers posted away from the South West that you would see outside the South West. That's why they would sit down in their zone and ask stupid questions like, "Wetin Peter Obi do for Anambra when he be governor". |
You fools like talking rubbish. What is the difference between Abuja and FCT? If there's a surge in population in Mararaba, or even as far as Suleja, it is all because people are drawn to the capital city of Nigeria. If they can't afford to reside in the main city, they will reside in the suburbs and surrounding areas. Whatever economic and social benefits/consequences accrue to the FCT, trickles down to every corner of the greater Abuja and even neighboring states like Nasarawa and Niger State. Same applied to Lagos! So this disingenuous and vexatious attempt to differentiate Lagos the capital of Nigeria and Lagos the non-capital of Nigeria is quite stupid. |
Lol. With due respect, all these Niger Delta people can be quite frivolous. |
elujah1:His previous outcry where? |
clearcrystal:Stupid threads like this are vexatious. What is the "verifiable" source of your amala president's wealth? Is he not arguably Nigeria's richest man? Why not focus all your energy on establishing the crook's source of wealth? I don't like it when people leave the obvious elephant in the room and start chasing shadows. |
A Yoruba man is the commissioner of police in Anambra State. When was the last time an Igbo man, or even a non Yoruba man, was appointed commissioner of police in Lagos State? These people like 'federalism' and 'One Nigeria' when it suits them, and quickly revert to 'our land' when it suits them. Some of these anomalies will be corrected one way or the other, in due time. It is a must. |
Oversabi don finish this one political career prematurely. |
shiwex:My bad. But the preponderance and broad based Yoruba support for BAT is disappointing, considering he is not a fit and proper person to hold such a sensitive position. I can't imagine supporting despicable characters like Hope Uzodinma, Andy Uba, or Orji Uzor Kalu if any of these crooks were the president, simply because he is my tribesman. And I know the majority of Igbos who are independent minded and Republican in nature wouldn't queue behind such odious characters too in the name of 'tiwa ni' or 'our own'. What I'm seeing in Tinubu's case is mind-boggling and utterly disappointing. |
Believe all these rubbish hype at your own risk. |
Beremx:If there was anything we could be sure of, it is that Thiefnumbuu's government would be characterised by extreme corruption and wastage. Corruption, bribery and wastage is how he built his criminal political 'empire', and how he has sustained it. Anyone surprised by these things is not being sincere. That is perhaps one of the compelling reasons why sane Nigerians wanted Peter Obi. At least if not for anything else, his reputation for frugality and prudent management of public funds would have regenerated a sense of hope and respite for most ordinary Nigerians. We wouldn't have been hearing about these disgusting wastages. |
Imagine for a moment that such despicable corruption and waste of public funds was for Peter Obi's daughter. The Yoruba amala mob would convulse in a frenzy of unimaginable proportions. But because it is Tinubu, watch how they would either ignore, or downplay, or detract, or even attempt to justify this. |
Dubious, shameless old man. What is the meaning of "Southern part of Nigeria"? I swear these people are full of it. Why not be truthful and bold enough to say SOUTH EASTERN PART OF NIGERIA? It's the same deceit that threw up a despicable character like Tinubu. Even after his South West has been president for eight years and vice president for another eight years since 1999. |
Roger3D:You're very stupid for asking that question. Didn't you read the original post? Most of you are so daft. Lagos was Nigeria's capital for more than 30 years, which attracted FEDERAL wealth, attention and population. That is what is still sustaining Lagos, and that is what makes Lagos special. That is why Lagos is NO MAN'S LAND. Go to your Ogbomosho and form Yoruba champion there. Nobody is dragging your Oyo or Osun or whatever with you But you see Lagos? It is home for all. Because all Nigerians made it what it is! Hear am, even if e pain you! We don't mind accommodating and paying small royalty/homage to the locals (real indigenes of the state). But not these other Yoruba states loafers making the most noise about Lagos while contributing almost nothing. |
Nonsense. Imagine the shameless whataboutism. So now it is a matter of comparative callousness? Yoruba Muslims and their endless orgasmic hysteria about one of their own Tinubu's presidency. Yes, Kperogi is a Yoruba Muslim. Forget the Kwara/'northerner' pretension. The veil has since been lifted from his dirty ass. No one takes his views on anything seriously anymore. |
It is a chaotic city to be honest. Much like Onitsha; only that Benin has somewhat more nuance and multidimensional madness than Onitsha. You can't compare to Lagos, because Lagos is a state. Benin is a city. Onitsha is a city. There are many Benins and Onitshas and everything inbetween in Lagos, with layered intersections and contours. |
lexylaw40:Fair logic, if you are limiting this 'citizen first' initiative to strictly Lagos indigenes alone (who can trace their lineage along the lines of badagry, Ikorodu, Epe, etc). That must exclude the useless Tinubu himself, probably Sanwo Olu, and most of the online Yoruba noise makers from the inner recesses and far flung backwaters of Osun, Ogun, Oyo and Ekiti. I don't understand this madness. If you want Yoruba citizenship in the sense you describe it, then strive for Oduduwa Republic, and then do whatever you want with it. Your tribal god and his band of bastards cannot bulldoze their way to Abuja, feast on Nigeria's collective wealth, and then somehow believe that they should reserve Lagos to themselves. Lagos that the same Nigerian collective funded and still funds. Obnoxious Yoruba irritants like you are truly mad. You're the problem of Nigeria, not even the Fulani as we previously/erroneously thought. |
Ballmer:Frustrated, broke ass idiot from the hinterlands of Ogbomoso yapping rubbish online. Who sabi you and your danfo driver papa for Lagos? Wanna be assassin. One small omo Igbo trader adds more value to Lagos than you and your entire wretched family, and would lay a greater claim to Lagos and its glory than you ever will. Let that sink in. Commit suicide if e too pain you. Ode. |
Roger3D:The reason why he is "fixated" on Lagos is clearly stated in the post, you dumbo. Why not embrace your Ekiti or Osun State? |
TonyeBarcanista:This is a ridiculous of view. Was he 'popular' in Rivers State? Was he 'Popular' in Benue State? In fact, was he popular in any state outside the South West? |
