Since the Federal Government, 36 states and 774 Local Governments depend heavily on revenues from the sale of crude oil,any downward changes in the price of that crucial commodity would undoubtedly,present economic problems. It could be recalled with sadness that earlier warnings by patriotic Nigerians against reliance absolutely on revenue from crude oil had not found favour in official quarters.
