Money is indirectly a measure of goods and services. Money received for goods and services can be influenced by negotiating power of the earner, demand-supply pressure on prices of goods and services. Now that a man isn't having more money may be a function of these above stated factors and not because he isn't hardworking or willing to work. What the Bible pattern reveal is one where the wife stays back mostly and do the lesser tasks. The man is to do the harder tasks like tilling the ground, cultivating the crop. i think it is because of competition. the guys are making money too or the guys want to make money too. the guys do not want to be treated as dependants. the women are not finding even the poor men submissive. how do you propose to someone that sees the proposal as his responsibility? they know the guys want to be in charge of the wealth of the family. the guys want the authority and the guys see it as a duty to control things.the women will cheerfully spend on those they love but they can't force them(the men) to be satisfied with that.

In the context of this post, we're talking about settling down and not casual relationships in general. In a casual relationship, a woman can be with anyone but when push comes to shove, serious marriage things, na ready (who get Money) na ladies dey go with. It's a tale as old as time.

. it is wrong to say women marry just because the man earns higher. you cannot really settle down if you are just after the money. you can only deceive yourself or stay confused.

The landlord of where we stay called my dad this morning and threatened to bring soldier to pursue us if we don't leave before the end of this month. Easter is suppose to be a period of celebrating but me and my parents are in deep pain.
My jamb exam is coming up in three weeks time and I haven't even open my book because of depression and thinking. I won't write the exam because it's a waste of time when you have nowhere to lay your head.
My father have tried everything possible,he has two property he is in charge of to sell which can help us move out of where we are staying but no buyer have surfaced.

I want to use this opportunity to ask for connection concerning the property.

i have been homeless more than 10 times , i have had to change location more than 15 times, sapa stopped me 4rm writing jamb ,4rm entering a higher institution, some will not accept this as true, they think someone can't pass through these things , but i have seen enough to say they are on their own. your parents have to take you guys to a relative or family friend or church member's house. you will still have to leave them,find an uncompleted building while ur younger siblings stay in the church maybe. that is how i have been exposed. you guys will then split into multiple places ,wherever it is, if u die on the way,life still goes on.

One thing many guys failed to understand is that women are well versed in a language called double speak. What they mean is not that men aren't available, it's that the type of men that they want are not available. Now who are these men? Oh that's simple, high earners.

Most women want a man that optimally earns significantly more than they do. The conscientious ones will be more than happy to play a supporting role while the indolent ones will spend his money whilst saving hers. His money is our money after all.

What women however fail to realize is that as they start to earn as much and even out earn men, they soon climb into the category of the men that they once wanted. Now that they're earning the same or even more, it is very likely that they won't want those guys anymore.

A woman earning 30k doesn't want a guy earning the same or less. You could say the same for those earning significant more, even into 6 figures monthly. Why? Hypergamy. In one word.

Now for the average woman in society, there's every chance that they are most likely to meet up with average men. How many average men in this society can boast of solid job, much less earning 6 figures? This is why women say that men are scarce. Now why do women balk at the idea of settling with a lower income man?

Using a relationship as a way of explaining the flow of resources between individuals, the individual that earns more will obviously assume the majority of the financial burden of the relationship. They'll also need to sacrifice more, take charge, be more responsible and etcetera. In the case of a (legal) divorce, they also tend to lose more.

Unlike men, most women see a relationship for what it is. Now with a lot of them being a position where they earn the same or even more than the men around them, this proposition doesn't sound too good. Most women have chosen to hold out an wait for the mythical unicorn that is Mr Right. Because seriously, what does she get out of a relationship with a guy who's below her financially? She spends more, gives more, works more etc.

Usually when I hear this, I smile and I say welcome to being a man. I know a lotta women believe that being a man is very easy but a good number are finding out that's it's not so.

For hundreds of thousands of years, when men were sole breadwinners or at least they earned more, this arrangement of whoever earns more provides more was seen as fair and justified by women.

Now that the tables are flipped somewhat, a lot of women are appalled by the idea. The fact that some women have been taken advantage of by men also doesn't seem to help issues. But I could also counter and say women have been taking advantage of men the same way as well, presumably even more.

Ladies you see that middle class earning man making 70 to 100k and possibly more monthly, a lot of you are now those men. There are guys doing sales that earn below you, private school teachers that earn below you etc. These are the men make up the bulk of society.

With equality comes equal responsibility. As Myron would say, equality is not a buffet where you get to pick and choose. Men and women are equal now, so go out ladies, pick a man, take care of him and the children you give him till he or you dies. Let's see if we can see this equality thing through.

I mean look at it from the point of a man. He works hard, built his empire and then marries you just to take care of you and if care's not taken, your family and friends come along for the ride. Ladies can you do that?
