Bitchiamjay: Which stupid Supreme Court ruling? El Rufai has never obeyed court order, so why is he wailing and persuading Buhari to obey same? When Buhari disobeyed court orders to release Dasuki and Nnamdi Kanu, where was this energy? Now they are hiding under the mask of “suffering and frustrated masses” because of their selfish ambitions. If we can suffer for almost 8 years under the claws of APC and still survive, what is 8 days? If this new policy will stop vote buying, we are 101% behind Buhari. In this life always stand for what is right even if it doesn't offer any benefit. Every evil you support will one day hunt you either directly or indirectly. nothing can stop vote buying |

This new naira policy is one that will favor the nation at large. There are little inconvenices here and there but I tell you the masses will stand to gain disposed |

bonechamberlain:

Nigerians must support the CBN policy. The implication of money politics in Nigeria would be more deadly than boko haram.
Every politicians would begin to steal and loot massively in order outspend other contestants. Which means more underdevelopment for Nigeria.
Lagos as the commercial hub of Nigeria with over 40 billion igr might always determine who would win party tickets and federal elections as they have massive money to loot, spend and waste than other states who can only dream of such spending.
The worst of candidate would always emerge as the winner due to massive funds. Just like we have in APC.
Education would continue to be destroyed and neglected to ensure the people can't think, reason clearly and are susceptible to bribery and corruption. Etc.
Support the CBN cashless policy, vote wisely(LP) for a better Nigeria and for your unborn children. bastard ,all parties are the same |

Emilokan army of touts and miscreants are the ones creating the mayhem in lagos. Python dance of the Nigerian army should be sent to reset their brains .
It is almost 8yrs of pmb presidency. Tinubu and his likes have never spoken out on the killings, kidnapping, pains and torture that have ravaged the nation and brought pains to the common man/woman.
Their embezelled election fund is on the verge of being made useless . They are screaming out. His presidential ambition is in the mud and he his screaming out with all these agbero move.
There is no glory without some discomforts here and there. This is something we need to support for the collective good of our nation. you are confused |

Well, I maintain that our biggest challenge is our obsession with cash and it's contributing to these protests. I just hope they don't turn around and blame it on the Igbos after destroying things in Lagos (as always). bastard |

Maga123: Na confusion carry those governors go court they smell defeat and troubles in the air.I learnt in secondary school that exclusive list are resided with the executive which stipulates that issues of currency, military, foreign affairs etc.So why will they take buharis boy to court abi because he dine with them(bought apc predidential form hmmmm).Excutive order is and will still remain superior to any power. And concerning why he didn't signed it in a document to validate the executive order hmmm wuna don forget say buhari was a head of state before so he is used to declaring executive order to literally burn your daughter to stop corruption , how will it sound to you? |
Politics › Re: “Supreme Court Order” Versus “Presidential Address”: Which One Supersedes? by HellVictorinho7: 9:08am On Feb 17, 2023 |
GerogeI: Prove it, in court. The CBN says they have destroyed N500 and N1000 notes which they had about 2.1 trillion as of January. the old notes with the cbn do not concern those on the street. I speak of those finding survival so hard , no new naira note, a few old notes to feed for 2-4 days,no android phone,no money to buy nin, pvc, bank account, nothing is free here. |
Politics › Re: “Supreme Court Order” Versus “Presidential Address”: Which One Supersedes? by HellVictorinho7: 8:48am On Feb 17, 2023 |
GerogeI: What you fail to understand is the Presidents legal framing. He has already made irreversible implementations of the policy. Therefore is obeying the supreme court on the reminants. Saying otherwise becomes subject to another litigation. If he has destroyed the notes before the ruling, the supreme court cannot expect him to circulate what has been destroyed. Tinubu just lost 72 billion Naira, unless he wins as President. nobody has destroyed naira notes , nobody has given ,nigeria has the worst president and central bank governor ever. |

Brendaniel: I want to believe you did not read my last line of statement or you read and did not understand it, I said most part of the 600 billion is with the politicians.
And your claim that 600 billion is nothing shows that you lack understanding of real worth of money or how money works, the entire money that was in the banking system before the naira redesign policy was 500 billion and for the entire same 200 million Nigerians.
Meaning that every transfer, online banking operations, deposits, loans and so on revolved just around 500 billion( give and take) and Nigerians did not even know, the remaining about 2.3 trillion was unbanked, the banking operations both online and offline still met everyone's banking operation needs both online and offline with just 500 billion naira only in it, and you are here telling me 600 billion is nothing... forget politicians, others are dying. |
