Joy1706:
I told him even as my husband, he can only ask me to change my church after marriage but that the decision is mine to take. And that religion is a very personal issue, it's not something that can just be decided for a person esp an adult. Then he says it seems like I won't be a submissive wife bla bla bla. Did I say something wrong?
jamb question.

Thanks for your reply but if your ATM is linked to your paypal account and the account gets hacked, then the funds in your ATM account could also be used by the hackers or am I wrong? Can I use my UBA debit naira master card with Paypal?
if your account gets hacked, your atm card is safe to an extent, in the sense that for any withdrawal to be made from your paypal account using the atm card as the payment option, the hacker would have to provide some information about the atm, informations such as part of the atm card number, expiry date, card value verification code, and the only way the hacker would have these information is if you have already given it to the hacker knowingly or unknowingly.
yeah i guess you can use your uba atm card
TV/Movies › Re: Television Politics: Five Years Later DSTV Is Still Yet To Launch Igbo Channel by henribj(m): 10:50am On Mar 08, 2015
deeplow:
No disrespect to the igbos. I love igbos. Truth be told, there aren't enough content to air. There is an igbo channel on startimes, and they barely have anything interesting to put on, and it is characterised by repititions. If dstv were to eventually open an Ndigbo channel, I am sure even igbos will get bored after a while.

Popular Igbo Nollywood actors have to forget all the pure English movies they act in. Promote their culture to the world. Most Indian actors speak good English, but they still stick to their language in movies, and theybare respected everywhere. Every week, at least 15 yoruba movies are released, Even though half of them are nonsense, it still gives room for options. Igbos should release as many as possible too.

I would be glad, if they can work on this, and produce plenty many Igbo movies. Maybe from there, I will learn enough Igbo to woo Chinweizu(my life long crush).
well said man. truly there is but few igbo movies out there, i think even the calabar speaking movies are more in the market than igbo speaking movies. for DSTV to offer a purely igbo speaking channel will gulp a lot of money in the sense that movie producers, actors & co will have to start rushing to shoot igbo movies, now who will finance all these? considering the current financial state of Nigeria.
but lets be watching though, and see how things pan out.

Common sense would make you understand that most hunters has multiple dane guns let alone a family of hunters, that means an arsenal. You could also understand that its unwise to go shopping for a gun you plan to use once if you could improvise.
common sense is not so common, didn't you know that?
so now you want me to believe you just want to go hunting once? and after the first adventure then you retire?? no more hunting adventureshuh
i believe you sir cheesy

Hello, I am interested in opening a Nigerian paypal account, however I don't know how it works (the funding process, receiving money etc), Also
how safe is it ? I don't want a situation where someone could hack my paypal account and use all my funds up. I would really appreciate if
someone could explain how I could go about opening and using a Nigerian paypal account. Thanks in advance
goto paypal.com
when the site opens it mostly opens the USA paypal site, just change the country zone to Nigeria and it will open the paypal page for Nigeria, sign up for a free account.
the funding process is this, you will have to link your credit/debit ATM card to your paypal account, that is the only way your paypal account can be funded. although there is another option to link your bank account to your paypal account but i do not know if that option is fully working for all banks in Nigeria.
To receive money into your paypal account, you only have to give your paypal email address to anyone who wants to send you money through paypal. paypal is like western union, when money is sent to you, you receive it in minutes, most times the money becomes available in less than 10 mins.
as for hacking, all websites can be hacked, you just have to play your part and be security conscious. most paypal accounts hacked are not hacked from paypal database, but are hacked through the owner of that particular paypal account because of his/her carelessness or lack of attention to detail
another thing to know or do if you don't want your funds transferred out of your account incase your account gets hacked is for you to make sure that whenever you receive any money into your paypal account you immediately transfer the money out into your atm card, that way, whenever anyone/hacker gets access to your paypal account, the hacker won't see any money in your account to withdraw cos the whole money is in your atm card.
hope this bit of information helped.

uhm if i may ask, do you truthfully wanna use the gun to go hunting for animals in the forest? or for some other aim/mission/objective??

DickDastardly:
Its a hunter's belief. You see, the spirit of the animals you kill in the forest await you at the point of entry, so we avoid their curse by changing route on exiting. Just like the 3 wise men avoid their old route to evade herod cool
ahh i see, thank you for clarifying this.

DickDastardly:
1. Always wear your Amulet and rub your whole body with charcoal before venturing into the forest! cool
2. Make sure your gun powder is very dry and your gun not rusty. angry
3. While in the bush move in zigzag or crocodile patern.(best is to tip toe and avoid twigs)
4. Most times the tree is the hunters best position.(but beware of territorial baboons and leopards)
5. Once in the bush, always have your finger ready on the trigger. This helps against surprise by predators and aids surprise shots at unsuspecting games
6. Never shoot at a group of gorillas, as you might not leave the bush alive to enjoy the kill.
7. At the sight of this Animals abandon the hunt and go home, Rhinoceros, hippo, Lion.
8. When you suddenly encounter a giant boa constrictor, do not turn and run, but gently back track.
9. Protect your neck from tree lurking leopards by wearing very thick band of fronds around your neck.
10. When you want to shoot an antelope, delay your shot to be sure its not being sturked by a bigger predator. As you may not have time to reload before you become the prey.
11. Most carnivores have very thick skull, so aim for the heart area if you want a killer shot. Anything less leaves you exposed when it retaliates.
12. The sound of approaching hoofs might not actually be herd of antelopes. You are safer up a tree till you sure its not a pack of hyenas. cheesy
13. Its safer to hunt in groups, but their must be an agreed spread out pattern to avoid regrets from friendly fire.
14. Never go back same way you entered the forest.

You can add yours!
I will answer your questions now. cool
have got a question:
14. Never go back same way you entered the forest.

hmm, first things first, young lady i feel your pains and what your going through, no man or woman should have to go through this.
That being said, is it so hard for NLanders to actually post the name of guilty parties? you want us to advice you, and yet someone somewhere in 9ja is also going through what you are going through, are NLanders going to be giving out advice everyday to each person who has the same problem with the previous person?
what i think is this, expose these guilty parties, make it public and NLanders will do the rest by circulating the story and the atrocities of the guilty parties, that way, other members of the public who are involved in such evil tendencies will learn to start behaving rightly.
just my opinion though.
also, if you should rent a house, how do you plan to provide for yourself? i would advise that you use that money, atleast part of it and look for a profitable business to go into.

Romance › Re: Dilemma by henribj(m): 9:54pm On Mar 05, 2015
larablog:
I am an extremely confused 27 year old lady caught between  two guys.  Whatever decision I make will impact the rest of my life.

I have been in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for ten months now, he is 35 and lives in the US.

The problem is that my boyfriend is separated from his wife of barely one year  and he has a kid with her. He is very open about his situation and keeps telling me that his marriage was a mistake and both of them have mutually filed for divorce.

Throughout the ten months we have been dating, we have seen countless of times. I know for a fact that he is separated, this post is not about whether he is lying about that or not.

I love him and his actions proves that he loves me perhaps even more than I love him. We are extremely compatable  and despite the age difference he is my best friend. He is exactly the type of person I dream of getting married to both physically, mentally, financially  and character wise.

I am a virgin and I aim to keep my virginity till marriage, he is not pressurising me. He says there is no rush after all we will get married

So here is the problem, I am a virgin from a very good affluent family with strong family values, I am also the first child and my parents are praying for me to marry well and do them proud. Is it advisable for me to marry a soon to be divorced man with baby and in-law drama.

I also feel that regardless of how much I love him and our compatibility , he was never mine to begin with and i will be breaking God's commandment about committing adultery.

I don't think I will ever find a better person for me, he is everything I want in a man and he has proposed. Should I say yes ‎

Meanwhile there is another guy also 35 that comes with no strings. He is in love with me and serious about pursuing a relationship that might lead to marriage. This guy is based in Nigeria and we are becoming quite close, although I told him that nothing can happen until I broke up with my boyfriend. I admire him and respect him a lot, but I do not love him, there is no spark or chemistry. He is single, never been married and living comfortably ( my family will love him)‎
‎
Please I need urgent advise

1. Should I let go of the love of my life and settle for the new guy who I do not love and build my own home from the scratch. The love can grow but there will always be something missing

2. Should I fight for this once in a life time love I have with my current boyfriend.

3. There is always a possibility that he might go back to his wife, though he hates the very air she breaths . If that happens I cannot fight it, I will even encourage it. I am not an husband Snatcher and I don't want the beautiful kid to have a broken home ‎
‎
4. Should I let go of both guys and pray to find someone I will love as much as I love my current bf.  This might take time as I am ready for marriage right now and I don't want to wait (want to start enjoying sex and all, grin)‎

‎What should I do, I have till the end of March to make a decision. I want to get married by December. ‎

Thank you, sorry it's long but your advice is greatly appreciated. Please matured people in the house only
‎
young lady the first and only advice i will give you is this, as regards the man who was married, i advice you to pend all further romantic dealings with him until his divorce has been finalized. no be today we begin hear say "we have filed for divorce", and after some months or so both couples will get back together again. so just leave that story
as per the second never married guy, are you marrying him for your family or for you? if you and the man eventually get married and start having problems, will the problem be on your family's head or on yours? who will be having the sleepless night? is it your family or you? if tomorrow the never married guy starts asking for divorce, where does that then leave you?
after you have thought of what i have said and taken the necessary steps, contact me and i will proffer further advice.

I dont believe in love at first sight either......when u cannot imagine ur life without him or her, when the thought of being with someone else is sickening., hold on to thats its love. When u so angry at him or her but u just want them to hold u * grin*. True unconditional love lasts forever I believe that. Mr right? Not really but Mr right for U? Totally. And yeah relationships r commitment and compromise, but when u really love someone its nothing
well said.

How do you know he is "the one" for you?

Does love at first sight exist?

How does love feels like?

Does love last forever in a romantic relationship?

Why am I asking all this questions....hmmm... lets see ........

I don't believe that love at first sight exist, no body knows if any one is "the one" for them, love has no feelings because over doing all emanations will be lead to declaration of lunatic which leads you into a mental institution or if you are in Africa you will be on the street ahahaha jokes aii. I REALLY SERIOUSLY don't believe that love last in any romantic relationship, love dies after a cretin amount of time; if the two people decide to stay in the relationship after the love has gone than it turns into a mutual understanding from both parties, which involves into accepting and compromising with what so every packages that they have on them.

Any other thoughts on my theory of love? Is my theory on love wrong?
