Y this was happening sincerely I lost my faith n believe in God. thou, I motivated myself, I remained focused n determined to excel. I did more research, sharpened my skills, attended training AGDC, did a profession certification but did nt write dia exam as a result of my inability to pay d fee CILT. did another which I paid for on scholarship so d fee was discounted CNS. I was working without pay for exp sake before I decided to take up a contract job in d same office. Today as I speak to u, UACN will make it the forth in pipe line that I have an ongoing negotiation with for a role.... Advice Repent of ur sins n ask God to take control of ur career path. Don't give up on ur self u r d best in d world. Attend Training / seminar also read motivational books Improve ur network/Skills/Job hunt strategy Take up any job whether d pay is good or not...work for exp n d pay will come later. At the pointed time God will make u successful like me when u least expected it. I pray to scale through d hurdles in this UACN recruitment process in Jesus name. CharlyG1: Not exactly.. But i'm making plans to get a hint on what their interview questions look like.. I once read on an old thread that U would be interviewed individually, ur level of confidence will b tested blah blah blah.. And U will also b grouped during d interview stage, dat one wud be based on team work. I cant say if its still d same procedure dey're using.. My advice is- Just go to their website, research about dem and their products and google basic interview questions.Ok thanks! Of cause knowing about the organization's business and products is basic! |
CharlyG1: Not true dear.. D next stage shld be interview stage, infact it is! U shld check previous UACN threads.. Once WORKFORCE sends U d date for interview, everything falls in d hands of UAC HR, WORKFORCE work go end on or b4 29/08/2014It should be so Charly... I hv a feeling they want to recruit before the year ends, possibly before November ends! Do u hv an idea on interview questions they ask? |
kolgs: I givee God all the glory I received the text msg as well. I'm so grateful God . Even though I dnt belief I could be call for anything after the test, I just picked options anyhow the question was tough for me o . God is at work.Yes bro... God is at work! |

Julietta34: Ofcourse I'm occupied wit other thngs...its nt jst easy 2 keep my mind off dis oneI understand Julietta... Just be cool, you might even get a better one! |
Timika: Henry I was going to ask you how it went cos i couldnt go.It went well by God's grace! The test was in two parts, test 1and test 2. Both test had 40 questions each making the two 80 questions. Each test was for 25mins, making 50mins for the 80 questions. Test 1 was quantitative and logical reasoning, while test 2 was verbal and business/mgt reasoning. The tests was easy, just limited time especially for the first test which was quantitative and logical that had 40 questions which was more of quantitative to be answered in 25mins. |
Julietta34: Dis waiting is reali frustrating... y is it taking so long? abeg mak dem no do lyk dragnet wey dey send their sori msg afta 2mnths oJulietta, you shouldn't sound like that, be patient and keep busy with other things! |

[quote author=GentleMimi] ![]() To a great extent, yes. But the truth is that our culture indirectly frowns on feminine independence. As a female brought up in Africa, especially Nigeria, most ladies grow up with the mentality that the male rules over her. She enters her marriage with this mentality. Even when she has issues in the home, her family will tell her that walking away is not an option. She should endure...*scoffs*. Being dependent or not is not the main issue. I've heard of ladies who are well-to-do in the career sector but slaves in their homes. It is all about individuality. Some are strong minded, others are weak. Some are strong but get weakened by a ''weak'' male. By a weak male,i'm refering to a man who does the aforementioned.[/quote Yeah Mimi, African factor affects alot of things in relationships and marriages here for women. But women are becoming knowledgeable now. The best way to succeed in a relationship or marriage is following the biblical standard. Cus one can never expect the best from a partner who doesn't have the fear and spirit. It's the spirit of God in us that controls us when the ugliness of the human nature tries to take over. By the biblical standard, a marriage can only be dissolved when there's is infidelity, can the offended partner can't live with that. Hence the importance of careful consideration before marriage. I fear relationships myself, how much more marriage. Mimi, just try to take away bias from your mind in these matters. I might be wrong, but I kinda sensed it in the way you talk. Nice meeting you anyway! |
Emmaomotob: U think say Nigeria stupid like those white dudes to the extent of women gaining upper hand.Ladies f*ck with me and I will throw your bag and baggage out of my house.Pls read with understanding! Being a woman doesn't mean they shouldn't be ambitious and have goals. I am of the school of thought where both sexes work together to make things work. Not like here in Nigeria where women are seen as lower, or overseas where the woman is intoxicated with power. There can be a balance... and I have seen it happen both overseas and here in Nigeria. One must not be affected by the culture of stereotypes or war of the sexes. Doing what's right is what I advocate for, respect women as being part of men, not under men! Pleas read the Bible from creation and understand God's plan if you do not understand this! Thank you!! |
delishpot: Make naija men catch you. All these donts for them? If say na women you dey tell dont do this, dont do that nairaland men for clap for you. And chant yes you right "bitxhes aint loyal" but this one wey you tell men what not to do, hian its not a normal ihian here o. Here in Naija, men dont have what they cant do o. Each man chooses what he cant do ie I cant marry, I cant bang a girl 3 months straight, I cant wash my clothes, I can never baby sit my kids when I have a wife, I cant ever help my wife with chores, I cant feed ma wife o, why tge hell did women ask for freedom of education? Ehn she don go school with me na, so she should work and feed the family, I cant bathe my kids o, I cant eat eba o, she must pound yam every day,etc etc. Please you don't need to comment. |
GentleMimi: Fool, did ur sisters attain menopause in their twenties? tell them i said ''It is well with their situation''. You've been duly noticed, now go and live ur miserable life.Mimi, your name says gentle... You should have ignored him! You hv got so much fire |
GentleMimi: Unfortunately, some of us ladies reading this have such low self esteem and no sense of ''self'',and would allow a single man carry out the above and still smile in the name of love.. Some men are really good at using psychological manipulation, and the lady is so happy to have a husband that she will do any and everything.I call that weakness... Hence the need for every lady to strive for independence, they're desperate mostly cus of financial stability! |
TheRainmaker1: I scored 95.6%, so I'm surprised I wasn't invited for interview.Na so! You sure it's not 9.56%? Look well! |
daywalker12911: Somebody tell dis useless Dragnet to stop disturbing my life.Lol! |
Maya2pretty: hahahahaha, no offense taken na, I know, I just need to train more on timing but where is d time to do that?80% of your weekends sleeping? That's like almost the whole weekend! The important thing is that you're busy with something, that takes the edge off u feeling cranky. I have a believe, though it might seem bleak now, God has a peculiar job for those who trust in him, tests or no tests. |
oweniwe: Maya2prettyAnd if you know you will call police? Forget the test! I was so ashamed when I saw my score! Anyway, after the test I knew I wasn't gonna make it!! |

I only have weekends and I spend 80% sleeping
