Please I'm having issues paying for visa application fees online. Done it thrice now and it keeps saying declined transaction not approved. Tried 2 different banks. And funds are over 75k. Did any one experience this?
Or is it cause it's a naira card and the limit is 100 dollars a day? |

mathy001: If possible, he should try to get any of the transcript officers to scan a copy of the transcript to his email or upload directly to the school's portal (he will have to plead and pay, of course).
If the above doesn't work, he should get an unofficial result from the department and get it signed by the HOD, and if possible, the Dean/Secretary
If the above doesn't work, I doubt that anything else can be done. Thanks bro... But the transcript was required for visa application |

In regards to this transcripts matter, I have a colleague at work who did b.sc 2008 but has just statement and transcripts. School takes time to process original degree after one applies. Now his issue lies with his MBA which he did 2012, now he has only statement result. Certificate is not yet ready and the school doesn't give students copy of transcripts. He wants to apply for the winter program, is it ok if he applies that way and explains in his SOP? |

Maxihyfr: Good morning house!!! Please what does work placement mean in an admission letter..
And what program gives u a work placement . is it PGD?? To the best of my knowledge, some programs require work placement which is normally attached in the admission letter after admission has been given. I believe it also enables individuals get a work permit alongside a study permit. The work placement means individuals have to work on or off campus along their study. Please I stand corrected. |

I submitted my application since July without the temporary resident visa imm5257. What does this means? It was stated as optional. If you were able to submit your application. I guess it's not an issue. |

Trapping: @Jnyuwa02, Please can you help me out here - I want to fill and submit an online application, I went on the Canadian cic website but the information contained there-in seems confusing... So if I may ask you what docs am I to download fill and submit. Please if there are other informations you feel like sharing with me, I welcome your benevolence. You're to download and fill Application for study permit made outside of Canada imm1294, Family information imm5645, Schedule 1 Application for a temporary resident visa imm5257. One you get in the cic site and select study option, scroll down you see a blue underlined place showing get all forms in lower casing. Download the forms there. Look at the forms you're filling carefully because cic wouldn't treat if a wrong form is uploaded |

jnyuwa02: It is important to follow instructions. Forms should go only to the places indicated. There is a small question mark tab next to all the areas that tells you where all the documents should go. Upload your Letter of Explanation and all other sundry pdf documents merged into one, in the Client Information area. Yes you do not need signatures appended to your CIC forms because you are online applicant. Good luck! Thanks man |

charlyduru: All the immxxx forms have their respective slots for upload and they won’t merge when you try to merge it with another. You upload SOP IN THE client information section and merge other documents with your Sop in that section That section and the financial section are the only once that need merging probably.
Please ensure To open the imm forms with adobe reader and do validate them Thanks bro. I have validated the imm forms already. But schedule 1 temporary residence didn't have a validate option though. Was just family information imm5257 and imm1294 that has the validate option. Any ideas on the signing the forms? I can just leave it that way, yeah? |

Inyuwa02, please is it ok to merge sop and imm1294 together? If not, please what's the best place to merge it?
I guess it's ok to just upload imm1294 and imm5254 without signing them since it's an online application?
Please anyone who feels these are stupid questions or questions treated before should please keep his opinions to themselves... Thank you |

charlyduru: You clearly didn’t make enough research before choosing your application method
You can use ilovepdf.com or just google merge pdf use any of the link that comes out on the search page
You will also need to compress pdf as the max size per file is 4mb , can be done with that site above Wow... You didn't need to put that I didn't research my application method. Everyone has a reason why a method was chosen. Thanks for the reproach and advice. God bless you. |

Please I need help from those who did online applications? Please how did you guys upload documents like certificates, police clearance, birth certificates and family documents? I did ask this before and someone replied he uploaded certain documents certain files, i guess i didnt understand this. But I realised each file say proof if financials for instance can take only one document at a time, any other upload later on replaces the first upload.
Please I want to understand how you guys actually did this |

kylexy61: If this is the 1st time you are applying for a Canadian Visa, you can leave it blank. The UCI is a number that is generated for each applicant after he applies for a Canadian Visa for the 1st time. Then that number can be used in subsequent Visa applications.
So leave it blank. Thanks |

realshifu: For the first question, my own arrangement was a bit haphazard. I included my degree, NYSC documents, and transcripts with my offer letter and uploaded it to Letter of Acceptance section. My SOP, and Resume was included with my family documents and father's property document and uploaded unto client information file. Sponsorship letter, sponsor's account statements, and my own ARM account statement (which could be your own pension statement), email confirmation of differential tuition waiver and other financial stuff was uploaded to the financial documents section. This was what I did.
Second question: I have no idea. Ask the gurus in the house.
Last question: Yes, both are required. Infact if I remember correctly, it's stated on the application that the TRV application outside Canada form is required. Thank you... I was just a little confused, cause when I downloaded the form it's stating application for a temporary visitors visa and code is still imm5257. I didn't expect to see visitors there but resident. Wanted to be sure I'm filling the right form |

henricson: Please if anyone wouldn't mind answering... For those who did an online application, may I know what file, documents like degrees, nysc, resume, employment letter, sop, sponsorship letter, pension statements etc can be uploaded on? Can it be on client information file?
Second question, what document can I upload to show evidence of work requirements in study? Can I upload the email I was sent regarding co-op work permit?
Lastly, is it necessary to upload application for a temporary resident visa made outside Canada imm5257 when an application for study permit made outside of Canada imm1294 has been done? This is surprising! Some persons on this forum discouraged against getting people's contacts to get information, saying it is best to ask on this forum for everyone to learn, yet somehow it's as if my posts are not seen. Or probably I'm asking stupid questions? Well there's a first time for everything. |

realshifu: Please allow me to give you the best advice anyone here can give you. Please read this thread from the very beginning as much as you can. This is part 14. If you can, please read part 13 join. Spend data, give yourself a couple of hours and go through the thread. At the end you will be equipped with at least 80% of what you need to know and do to be successful in your application. You will be able to avoid the urge of misrepresentation and even avoid the honest mistakes of doing so.
You will find this very helpful. I did the same. If there is anything else that is still confusing, you can come back and ask the gurus in the house. I see... Thanks anyway. I figured it out. |

Frankrobbn1: henricson,
Online application forms are not meant to be signed. After successful uploading of required documents in their various sections, you will be promoted to use your name as a signature. It's also not compulsory to sign an SOP, but if you wish, you can get a scanned copy of your E-signature and attach it to the letter. All the best! Thanks boss |
