IT IS MERE MUDSLINGING CAMPAIGN, SAYS SARAKI'S AIDE

Our attention has been drawn to the circulation of a report In the media said to have been leaked by the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu to some journalists where he made several allegations against Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, as it concerns the payment of the Paris Club Fund refund to the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF).

Let us first state that these allegations are not new. The EFCC had from the onset of its investigation into the Paris Club refund made attempts to drag in the name of Dr. Saraki and we have promptly denied any such involvement of the Senate President. In fact, the EFCC itself came out to deny the report as it then said it had nothing to indict the Senate President. The anti-graft agency said the investigation was still on-going then.  Yet, as at that time it had all these information it is now dishing out.

It is obvious that at this point when Mr. Magu believes the Senate President should be blamed for his failure to secure confirmation as Chairman of EFCC by the Senate, he would want to fight back by cooking up reports and masterminding its leakage.  We maintain our stand that Dr. Saraki has no direct or indirect link to the distribution of the NGF money. No money from the Paris Club refund was paid to Dr. Saraki.

In addressing the specifics of the allegation in the reports as we gathered from the press, EFCC believe that since the Senate President has worked in the same organisation with Mr. Robert Mbonu before, whatever transaction he is involved in should be linked to the Senate President in this era of mud-slinging and much-raking. We would like to say that Mr. Mbonu is not representing Mr. Saraki in any transaction he does with the NGF and no money from his company, Melrose, in his dealing with Nigeria Governors Forum came to Dr. Saraki either directly or indirectly. And if the EFCC has any information to the contrary, we challenge them to make it public.

We state categorically that no aide of the Senate President acted on Saraki's behalf in whatever they do with Mr. Mbonu.

Again, If Melrose paid any money to a jeweller or any shop,  that has nothing to do with the Senate President. We believe Melrose must have the necessary documentation in support of their transaction and we are sure the EFCC is aware of all these.

In the same vein, if Melrose chose to invest in another company, that decision has nothing to do with the Senate President and the act of drawing a link between Mbonu and Saraki can at best be only pure mischief.

At this point, it should be noted that Xtract Energy Services Limited is a well known foreign exchange dealer with almost 15 years of existence in the market and the company is widely known to do business with many organisations in the country.  The last time the Senate President patronised the company was on December 19, 2014 and we challenge Mr. Magu and the EFCC to prove that the Senate President transacted any form of business with the foreign exchange dealer in the period of the payment of the Paris Club refund.

"We call on members of the public to view this concocted and leaked report as Mr. Magu's form of fighting back. The report has no truth in it. It should be noted that the Senate Prssident was not behind Magu's failure to get confirmation from the Senate. That was democracy in action. Dr. Saraki is merely a presiding officer and first among equals. Dr. Saraki did not in any way interfere with the confirmation process.

According to Dady Waziri,the case between Senator Makarfi and Ali Modu Sheriff's led PDP factions was today adjourned to 4th May,2017 by Supreme Court.

Makarfi led PDP on March 17 released a notice which reads.....

I remember getting an invite to attend Queen Ayo Balogun son's wedding (#jjginger17) some weeks back. At that time, I had wanted to shoot the first video for my YouTube channel #partymomentswithhelen and I was so excited. After interviewing a few vendors/guests during the reception, I walked up to Nollywood actresses, Iyabo Ojo and Fathia Williams and requested for an interview. Faithia politely told me she doesn't grant interviews at parties (I bet she would have agreed if it were Ovation TV or Goldmynetv). Anyway, I was glad she wasn't rude to me. Meanwhile, it was my second time talking to her; First time was at BON Awards where she allowed me take a picture of her at the event and I had just started blogging then. Iyabo Ojo on the other hand, looked at me, collected my branded jotter where I had written my interview questions, she went through it, handed it over to me and turned her face away. This same Iyabo Ojo that I introduced myself to as a blogger in 2011 and she said 'pls what is a blog' I explained what a blog is, to her. I laugh anytime I remember what happened. 
Truth is, at some point in your career, some people will treat you nice while others won't. Some will help you instantly just because they love your personality while you will chase and chase some people just to get something from them. Always remember that, It is your duty to keep pushing and never give up because you are responsible for whatever you make out of your life'.

The Enugu state command of the Nigeria Police Force through its operatives of the Trans Ekulu Division have begun an indepth investigations into the activities that led to the alleged constant torture/abuse of a 14 year old boy identified as one KELECHI GOODLUCK OKEKE by his father identified also as one Chinedu Okeke who is said to be living at MARY EMMANUEL Street,New GRA Trans Ekulu Enugu south East Nigeria with a view to bringing perpetrators to book.It was gathered that the arrest of Chinedu Okeke became possible following intelligence report gathered by the police operatives who stormed the residence of Chinedu Okeke on 15/3/17 and found his son Kelechi Goodluck Okeke tied with rope after allegedly being inflicted with various categories of injuries all over the body by the father under the guise of disciplining hisson.

It was further gathered that Chinedu Okeke is always in this habit of subjected the son whom he claimed is stubborn to various inhuman treatment of kneeling on the stone with his hands tied together and massive flogging with wires and other dangerous objects of Kelechi his son thereby leaving the entire body shattered with injuries under the guise of making him to conform to acceptable norms and becoming discipline.Following the rescue of little Kelechi with injuries and the arrest of the said father,facts emerged that Kelechis mother is not living with the father although there appears to be unresolved marital issues with both parents which left the little boy in the hands of the father.

Further gathering revealed that Kelechis father is however leaving with a woman with four kids belonging to a certain pastor in Enugu who has abandoned the pastor over a yet to be established issue and now Kelechis father and in that process allegedly turn the little boy to slave and at times with several and severe inhuman treatment.

According to the rescued boy,for the period of one month now,he has been undergoing this kind of inhuman treatment with his entire body seriously battered and shattered with wire whips.The father on his own part is not denying the act but is blaming the entire situation to act of devil although he maintained that the essence was to discipline the child whom he accused of being stubborn and indiscipline.

'Police brutality warri, Delta state, Akpos aka( Kporido ) is a hair stylist at Enerhen junction, he, together with 2 other guys who are siblings, Otikpo and his brother, I really don't know the name of his brother, were arrested on Wednesday 15/03/2017 by NPF B division in warri Delta state, at the venue they attended a service of song. They were about to leave at the end of the program, when some members of the police force intercepted them and took them away before anyone could notice save one witness, on the ground the car Otikpo bought was a stolen car, believe me none of the above mentioned guys could steal or have ever stolen, na warri we for grow, who dey thief with gun we know am, pocket picker we know am, 419 we know am, anything u dey do we must know, na enerhen junction, people must know your character which is your identity, this guys no way them be thief and if they bought a stolen car, I am sure the police should investigate. Well to cut the long story short one of our own working with the Warri General hospital was present when the police brought the body of Akpos to the mortuary, he was even shocked and immediately told the force man where he knew the dead Akpos and in fact Akpos was the stylist who cut his hair a few days ago, if not for this guy the family wouldn't had known their son had long been killed and yet the police is still depriving them, the family was at the station Wednesday night and also on Thursday morning, they didn't give them any chance to see their son and brother, it was on Thursday night his photo was brought, as I write this we haven't heard any news about the other guys, if they are dead or alive, Akpos was only a passenger, Otikpo is the owner of the said stolen car.
