Ok now, Peter Obi may be prudent in spending as claimed( people very close to him said he is stingy) , he wouldn't fit well for a president but maybe economic minister or thereabout. Presidency is beyond cramming comparative analysis of different countries, the emergence of Peter Obi will always make his kinsmen go haywire because of their extremely religious and tribal intolerance. Mark my word, Nigeria will always boil if Peter emerges president( because of his kinsmen), killings and counter killings will be the order of the day, moreover there will be extreme inflation and many fake products( owing to their brother in power). You dare not complain, when you do they will shut you up that their brother is in power,I hope you know what I mean( Just travel to any southeastern states and see the extremely high cost if living for evidence)
Now back to Tinubu, forget all the media hogwash to discredit him , he is detribalized, sound upstairs, experienced, global and what have you.One good thing is Tinubu always employs technocrats to work for him(evidence is when he was a governor In Lagos). They said he is not healthy yet within a space of a week he travelled to four states working, attending meetings, campaigning etc Dont blame Tinubu for picking Shetima a Muslim, he did to win votes as politics is about calculation. Those condemning Muslim Muslim ticket knew this but they pretend like they don't. Go to their region, they only had Christian- Christian governors and deputies from inception .They claimed he forced Buhari on Nigerians, is it now a crime to support a candidate, they never liked Buhari probably because he is a Muslim,that's up to them but no one knew Buhari will underperform and Tinubu is coming to address those challenges.

Please just ignore them. I delberatley didn't respond to their insults directly. Seeing people objectively canvassing for their candidates really is a thing a joy. There are many like me who are torn between choices and may see some eye opening points and decide to vote for whom ever. It's our right to have varying views and exercise it.

It beats me that some are bitter and toxic towards others just because they have an opinion other than their. Heck, they are toxic towards a neutral person.

We are all frustrated about the situation of Nigeria but there's nothing that guarantees that one candidate will perform when he becomes the president. We just don't know that. You are missing the point sha. My post is not meant to promote any candidate, not that I don't have a preferred candidate. This is just not a post to do that.

You can't say Yorubas are comfortable with 'their' candidate since there are tens of millions of people who are Yorubas and they've not all come out to say they're okay with what you term as their candidate.

Furthermore, let's assume for the sake of this conversation say that Yorubas are comfortable with their candidate, you need to realize he is not contesting to be the president of Yorubas but president of the entire country so every Nigerian has to be comfortable to an extent with him. It's not just limited to Yorubas, igbos, Hausas and Fulanis but other ethnic groups as well.


In a nutshell, all I'm saying is every Nigerian has the right to criticize and call out every single one of these candidates, long as they're not accusing them of a crime they didn't commit. That's all I'm saying.

Saying Peter Obi is an Igbo agenda is just a personal opinion you have, I know lots of none igbos who support his campaign, I don't know why we have to look at times all the time from tribal lenses. This is what he have been doing for several decades, it has not led us anywhere positive.

Like I said earlier everybody has the right to criticize any of these candidates because they're vying for a position that would affect every single one of us. You do infact have the right to criticize Peter Obi however you want long as you're not making false allegations or accusing him of a crime, same goes for others on Tinubu or Atiku.

Whether Atiku is Peter Obi's leader is what I don't know, what I do know for sure is that they were party members and running mates.

While I usually do not like getting involved in these kind of discussions because they typically turn into tribal fights and other similar madness I never want to be associated with, I had to hop in here to correct an impression.

Something you need to know and understand is that all these candidates are not vying to be the president of their respective tribes but rather president of Nigeria; the entire country and everything within it. That means every single person who is Nigerian and/or has lived here long enough has the right to comment on any of these candidates. They have the right to like or to despise a candidate, even Nigerians who know very well they won't vote in the forth coming election.

The reason is because a candidate wins, he becomes in charge of all our common wealth as well as our military and everything. He's not going to be the president of the Yorubas, Igbos, Hausas, Fulanis, Idomas, Ijaws etc but rather the president of Nigeria.

So you shouldn't feel sad that people of other tribes don't like your candidate, it's their right to make the noise now and demand whatever they want because once the candidate resumes office, it's over. Whether they're good or not, you can't do anything about it.

Igbos are only tribe that have 99% of voters in the South East and second highest voters in other regions in Nigeria.

while I can't verify the accuracy of all these numbers, throwing Igbo this Igbo that all over the place isn't what Nigeria needs simply because Peter Obi himself is not just an Igbo candidate, he is a candidate many Nigerians see hope in when compared to other candidates. Even fans of other candidates can attest to that, they just won't vote for him due to whatever useless reason that isn't sensible enough.
