The traffic situation in Lagos can be remedied by both short and long term solutions. first we have to decongest business centers and encourage the opening of other business clusters in under-utilised areas, to direct traffic to other areas and relieve pressure from congested areas, improve contract award of road building and repairs so that they can be held accountable when the road washes away quickly. Drainage, lagos is in dire need of good draining and all across the state we need to revamp the drainage system to prevent road damage as well flooding.
Creation of a true intermodal transport network harnessing water, rail, tram and stronger and more robust public transport. The funding for such exists, what it takes is having a government who is committed to making it happen, that is what I and the labour party want to bring to lagos, a truly working lagos for all classes of people, and for all lagosians, not just those on the island.

I'm not a Lagosian nor do I live in Lagos, but you seem concise and clear on what you would do and sound like you know exactly how to do it.

I'm not one of those who could vote for you but I wish you success in the forthcoming election. Hopefully, the people whon you're speaking directly to, makes the right decision and vote you in.

The President's signature and/or stamp is super powerful and I doubt any of those people you mentioned can influence Tinubu to sign or stamp on something as much as his wife and/or son can. Does it make sense for a long threaded discussion to be held in a language other than English language that most people understand? What if something strange/bad or sinister is being discussed or planned against some persons of group of persons.

Most forums I have an account on that are open to everyone only allow discussions in English or a particular language alone.

Allowing some members to discuss in a different language not understand by the vast majority of members impedes on communication which is the essence of it all. Communication is not achieved if only a tiny portion of people understand the language being used.

Whatever it is, a candidate's supporters do not have the power to silence anybody or take any decisions. The power rests on the shoulders of the candidate or president if they become president.

Atiku deleted the tweet(about Deborah not Sarah I think) because he wanted to not because his supporters asked. He has his reasons for deleting the tweet, the reasons could be because he believed the girl deserved to be killed or because he wants to get the votes of Muslim extremists up north, whatever it is, it was still his decision to delete the tweet not his supporters or the voters decision. Shifting the blame to the supporters is the height of irresponsibility and I strongly hope Atikue himself does not intend to deceive Nigerians with that lie because it'd be better we have a well known child to be president than someone who can be controlled by supporters to execute their desires.

I've lived in Kano and I can tell you, it's not necessarily who is the governor, Kwankwanso is a much stronger force in Kano state. God bless akwa ibom governors for proper drainage system. The heavy downpour we had a day be yesterday, nothing would've stopped Nwangiba flooding that particular day. But thanks to our good drainage system. God bless our governors.

The thing is, it's not about drainage system sha. All these floodings are not as a result of rain that fell in those states. While it is good and commendable that the state government has good drainage system, it still won't stop these waters if Akwa Ibom was to be along thr river Niger or the waters flow directly to the state.

This is a major issue the federal government has to look into as soon as possible.
