Dude should bet if he has the funds or just tuck his tail between his legs and scram. They claim to believe strongly that the candidate would win but can't even risk a penny betting on him.

Buhari could not get much done in first term even with APC majority in NASS. Why? Because the leadership of NASS were not on his side.

What makes Obi think a president can work with success in Nigeria when the legislative is opposed to him? Obi thinks of politics at the understanding level of a juvenile.

Obi was impeached in Anambra because his legislature opposed him.

If he wins he wants to preside in the midst pf opposition legislature. Has he lost his mind?

It is actually a brilliant way of fighting corruption. How do you fight corruption when you are your allies are thieves? He who must come to equity must come with clean hands.


The reason why others have failed is because a thief cannot fight another thief on issue of stealing..it makes no sense.

Go through history and even this present administration, those who have been caught or accused are either friends of the president or appointees of the president.

The presidential ambition of the former governor of Anambra is one of the most talked about in the country. Many people have already been mobilizing for him ahead of the coming election, especially the youths.

However, according to the Nigerian constitution, the election cannot be won with the vote of a single region at all. A person must have 25% of the vote in at least 24 states out of the 36 that we have.

This shows that at least Peter Obi will need to get a huge vote in the North and the South West before his ambition to be president can come to pass.

However, this question is: Can Peter Obi get 25% of the votes in the South West and North?

To begin with, both the South West and the North are home to the presidential candidates of the two major parties, the APC and the PDP, and as a result, this region may not be fertile for Peter Obi.

Apart from that, the party of Peter Obi's Labour Party is almost a new face to many people, and it would be hard for the party to gather large percent of votes in these two regions where both APC and PDP have members in almost all households that exist there.

The last election in Osun and Ekiti shows that the Labour Party has no strong stand in the South West because even with the presence of Peter Obi in Osun state to campaign for the governorship candidate of the state, Lasun Yusuf, the Labour Party still comes far behind both APC and PDP, who have multiple thousand votes.

Because of the fact that the Labour Party of Peter Obi has a low presence in both regions and because they are mostly unknown to the elderly and middle-aged people who mostly vote during elections, we can stand by the conclusion that Peter Obi may not be able to see 25% of the votes in both regions.

A year ago, the home of Nnamdi Kanu's Lawyer, Barrister Ejiofor, was invaded by the security forces. His driver, Gardener and Steward were whisked away to DSS detention Abuja and nothing has been heard from all three men to this day

2 years ago, a young girl called Idara Gold celebrated her 20th birthday by posting pictures of herself on Facebook wearing a Biafran dress. She was arrested by DSS, taken to Abuja, and last anything was heard from her was that she was in a detention camp in Niger State.

Earlier on this year, a 15 year old Chiamaka Okoro was arrested in Njaba and taken to DSS detention Owerri. She has been there for 5 months without charge and is reportedly pregnant.



These are just a few examples of how the DSS arrest people and detain them without charge for months, even years.

This is not about IPOB or Biafra or any other group, this is about the fact that anybody can be arrested based on any accusation, and kept in detention for years without any charge

Last year, veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu was arrested by Soldiers in Onitsha for wearing a Biafran dress. He was beaten and whisked away to DSS office in Enugu then taken to DSS detention Abuja. If not that Chiwetalu Agu is a celebrity whose arrest attracted public outcry, he would still be in DSS detention without any charge. There is no law that bans the wearing of Biafran dress

In what sort of democracy do you arrest your own citizens and detain them for years without any charge? Where is the justice in that? Is it the DSS that determines guilt or the courts?

A law must be enacted to stop the indefinite detention of people without charge because if it can happen to others, it can happen to you.

Things like these have been happening for so long.

Funny thing is, there are people who celebrate this lawlessness.

The National Assembly is definitely not interested in things like these.

Abaribe is not a small boy, he is an old man. By his age he should know the reason these people keep saying Obi's candidacy is Igbo presidency.

They're doing that because they hate Igbos so much as a result want to use something that has always worked for them to turn others against Obi. These specific people who say it's Igbo presidency as a result should not be voted for, are the architects and promoters of Igbo hate.

Some of you on this Nairaland and Twitter just talk nonsense unrestricted. Even when it absolutely makes no sense. Campaign hasn't started yet, anyone who thinks Obi will not campaign in the North is actually a fool because even Obi himself said he will visit the 36 states of the federation.

Everyone is just looking for a way to say something bad about him even when it makes no sense at all.

How many of your other candidates have visited most states? I'm not sure any has visited upto 6 states but here all of you are running your mouths on someone you already said has no chance.

Finally, he needs the northern votes just as much as other candidates need votes from other regions.

The cause of corruption is also the cause or enabler of many of other Nigeria's problems and that is lack of accountability. Nobody is held accountable or very few people are held accountable for their crimes which is not good. The best and easy solution goes this way....Simply head to any local government around you, request for a form for pvs transfer, fill the exact names, date of birth and the location on the old Pvs... Summit, wait and collect the print out same minute.. It's even easier than getting a new one..

If the APC wins the next election, these taxes would get worse. Their candidate has been known for increasing taxes anywhere he can.
