am asking what's up with people of these days or age, they no more want to get married those married are running out of it, I forsee in the nearest future maybe 5+ years marriage would become real old fashioned.
for example, all we see today is Mr. A welcomes a baby boy/girl with his girlfriend, same with Mr B but one funny thing is,its now a style or fashion to flaunt. you can't name 10 nigerian celebrities with 8 having child/children out of wedlock.

Simple, a Designer works with the front-end (html,css and a lil bit of javascript) only, while a developer works with both the front-end and back-end (php ,database etc) most times this guy is often referred to as a "programmer.

oga, they're both developers and programmers.

the difference is designer is front end developer while the other is back end.
while one whp does both is called a full stack developer/programmer

most of you here are not getting what/who a web designer is, in actual sense they both are the same. I'll explain.




@Op, a web designer is also a web developer who develops the interface(front end) while the person you called a web developer is also a developer who designs the back end.
now here's what you should have asked, what's the difference between a front end developer(web designer) and a back end developer.

to clarify you, a web designer is not one who uses graphic softwares, that's absolutely not true.
that's a wack explanation, people who use graphic design softwares are purely graphic designers while web designer uses mostly html/html5, CSS n javascript(most use jquery, like my self).

So it's not just in my location alone. I've only succeeded in downloading a file of 92 mb on 3G @ mid night since the last 2 weeks here in UniBen as 3G is practically dead. Only EDGE works. Will definitely port at the exhaustion (if it's even possible since there's no 3G) of current bandwidth if this continues.

that's the best option, do they want people to be awake in midnight inorder to download with something one paid for.

Which area are you currently using it? This is because I've using MTN internet for the past two months in V.I workplace and mainland and I've not really had hiccup as regards the network. You can try etisalat as advised and see whether there will be an improvement.

things are really getting out hands with MTN

for over three weeks now MTN Internet has been so poor that even to load a page of not upto 25kb to load takes almost eternity. I don't know if am the only one, I don't even bother opening sites like facebook on PC cos I would just be deceiving my self hoping it would open. even this post you're reading now, am the only that knows how long it took me to get it here.




Please and please the appropriate authorities should do something about this, I don't see why I would pay for a service and at the end it won't be rendered to me.
